This was our second time at Little Italy. To eat pizza while on vacation may be strange to some, but we look forward to that dinner and the leftovers for lunch. They have the best margherita pizza we've ever had, and we'll keep coming back! Small place with authentic Italian food and great service.
Flew to myrtle beach from Boston ma for our honeymoon and Little Italy is a five star delicious Italian restaurant we got chicken Parm and chicken fettuccine Alfredo thatBlue away some top Italian restaurants in Boston's North end The chef even came out to greet the guests and make sure everything tasted all right.... small hidden gem!!!! The real deal! Best pizza in South Carolina too
If you are visiting Myrtle Beach from Long Island or NYC and looking for a decent meal this is a must! Pizza is delicious and dinner plates are excellent. Owners and staff appreciate your business and whether you want to dine in or take out this is a must!
If you desire Italian food, the best place to taste Southern Italian Cuisine, made from scratch is Little Italy....... No other Italian restaurant on the Grand Strand comes close to Little Italy.......Luigi is the Master.......This is the only place I will eat at while visiting Myrtle Beach.......Lunch or dinner.......Can get take out as well ... It is a MUST to eat there !!!!!!!
We got pizza and it was fantastic. We will definitely be back. Great food and friendly staff!
Fantastic I had to get the Lobster Ravioli with bits of shrimp incredible and a Great price and a Class Act the owner/Chef came out to greet my family
This restaurant in the heart of Myrtle Beach is a small local gem with delicious food at a great price. We started with calamari to share, followed by a delicious shrimp meal. We ended our meal with a beautiful cannoli. The server was excellent and the food, though simple, was incredibly tasty. Highly recommended for delicious and affordable dining.
We have visited Myrtle Beach for years and always went to Brick Oven pizza. Today we decided to try something different and boy were we pleasantly surprised. This little place was a gem with great food, outstanding service and wonderful atmosphere. All this without the hour to two hour wait. I had the pizza and my husband had shrimp carbonara, both delicious. Try it you won’t be disappointed.
This restaurant came highly recommended locally. And we definitely understood why after eating there. They have a typical Italian menu. We started with a soup and salad. The salad was delicious and the soup was pasta fagioli. The soup was hearty and delicious, but I would have preferred the vegetables to be cut smaller and be softer. The celery and carrots had more bite to them than expected. Next we ordered the chicken parmigiana and a pasta trio (reminded me of something like Olive Garden's tour of Italy). This trio was lasagna, baked ziti, and manicotti. The portion sizes were huge! And they didn't skimp on flavor either. While everything was covered in a red marina sauce, each dish was distinctly different! We took home tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert.
We can't wait to come back and try the pizza!
Pros:
* Portion sizes were huge!
* Only $1 extra to add a house salad to the meal ($2 for Caesar and $3 for soup)
* The bread service and oil/spices
Cons:
* Soup veggies were too firm for my taste.
* It ended up being a $90 meal for two people after soup, salad, entrees, dessert, and tip. It added up quickly! But we had so much leftover!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect in terms of design and consturaction, it is very cute place
When it comes to taste of food It was fablous! I highly reccomend this place. Their pasts trio (includes lasagna and baked ziti) deserves to be tasted
The food here was excellent. Sauce made fresh to order. We chose this place to celebrate my wife’s birthday, it didn’t disappoint. We ordered a fettuccine Alfredo and a lobster ravioli and shared a NY style cheese pizza with our daughter. All dishes were excellent. They bring fresh home made bread with a nice oil for dipping. Our server was friendly and kind with our 19 month old girl. Only comment would be the bartender seemed to be slammed and not able to keep up as there was an event happening on the bar side and we waited quite a while for drinks. The place is unassuming from the outside because it’s located in a strip mall, but the inside has a nice ambience with a nice mural of Italian landscape on the wall. Regretfully did not have enough room for dessert, we’ll be back to eat here if we come to MB again.
My husband and I decided to eat outside the other day.We stop by at little Italy since we haven't tried it before. We were not planning to dine in but when we entered the restaurant the ambiance is just so pleasant. As we walk in, the servers were all greeting us . What a treat - we wish we found this place sooner; we ordered the mussels with red sauce to start - the sauce was amazing *chefs kiss* mussels were tender & please ask for extra bread so you can soak up this amazing sauce. I got the barbecue chicken pizza - the small is enough for 2 people . Our server did a great job serving us , outstanding customer service !
I wanted something simple and comforting and boy oh boy was the spaghetti and meatballs wonderful. The sauce by itself was so flavorful, and it was perfectly thick, not runny at all. And the lasagna my husband ordered was the best he has had in a long time "so meaty, cheesy, and saucy". The bread tasted homemade and fresh and the dipping oil was flavorful and had a little kick to it. The Italian Wedding soup was tasty and the Caesar salad as well. I will definitely come back here the next time I vacation at Myrtle Beach. This was my favorite dinner over the whole week!
My family loves Italian!! We always look for a nice Italian restaurant while on vacation. We drove a little to get to this place but we were not disappointed. The food was great!! We had a wide variety of dishes but we all loved our selection. The atmosphere could use a little updating but the service was exceptional. My 3 year old grand daughter loved the Tiramisu. Her dad ordered it but she took it away from him.
Don't judge a book by its cover! The food at this place was very delicious. Each item had care and precision with its preparation. The server was too kind, she treated my daughter like a princess. The recommendations by the server was excellent and honest.
I ate the Shrimp Fra diavolo, by looks along I was a bit deterred. One bite and the complexity of the recipe came to life. Just the right amount of spice! Oregano, basil, garlic, onion, red pepper were a few of the ingredients I tasted. The shrimp were perfectly cooked along with the pasta.
Vast variety in flavors throughout each menus item we tried. Chicken marsala was divine. Pizza had great texture and balance. Each appetizer was yummy. Only sad part was the mozzarella sticks tasted pre- packaged and generic. Otherwise I was impressed.
So Joe decided we were going to try a new restaurant and boy did he pick a great spot! He ordered shrimp Alfredo, I ordered pizza..both were sooooo good! And that warm bread and olive oil, they gave me extra! It was really good.
The ambience is so relaxing and quaint. The customer service was phenomenal.
