I have visited this new establishment three times since it's soft opening over the past weekend, and with each visit, I am never unsatisfied with both the service and food. Reasonable prices and a good variety of fresh, healthy sides to accompany fresh, healthy fare! I highly recommend this place if you are seeking an alternative (and fast ) dining or take away experience! The items I ordered were falafel (the BEST I have EVER tasted), Greek salad, hummus (the BEST and there a several to choose from !) and tabbouleh salad (SO good!). Even the pita bread was well-seasoned and soft .The stuffed grape leaves (dolmades) were fresh and delectable. I am an extremely critical customer when it comes to quality food, and this place fulfills my expectations. I have to also note that I received an enthusiastic "Welcome back!" the last two times I entered the premises. Plain and simple: I Love!
Ate there for the first time today and food was fresh and excellent! Definitely the best place in Myrtle Beach for made from scratch Mediterranean food.

Can't believe I live here and it took me this long to make a visit. I had the falafel bowl with a side of pita and tzatziki. So delicious! The staff was friendly and food came out fast. Can't wait to return!

Y'all. I am so stuffed I can barely type. I ordered the chicken shawarma chicken wrap and it tasted so wonderful, I kept eating WAY past good sense. Totally worth it! � #newfaverestaurant
On my way home from hunting I stopped in to get a bite to eat last night. Service was EXCELLENT!! Atmosphere is great. Disappointed the scale only goes to 5 ☆'s. Cause my Lamb Gyro was a border line 7☆'s!!!! The portion was way too much for me so I get to enjoy my meal again today. The fresh hummus is so smooth and tasty. Even though it's a 40 minute drive, I will be a repeat customer. Brings back memories of my time in Europe. AWESOME FRESH FOOD.

Food is amazing. I love the Classic Gyro Bowl and the Turmeric Ginger Hummus is to die for. There is something on the menu for everyone. Come check it out.

Amazing food! Seriously, the best gyro I have ever had. My family and I just finished eating and all of us said the same thing…..next time we visit Myrtle Beach we are eating here again! Yes, absolutely a must. Portions are large, hot, fresh and presented very well. Staff very nice and welcoming and everything is made to order. A+
Outstanding delicious food. It has many vegan friendly options. I was impressed that the falafels were not dry and bready like in many other places. It’s just chickpeas.
Everything else was super tasty and the price was very affordable compared with many other restaurants. I can highly recommend Peño Mediterranean Grill.
We knew it was going to be a decent dining experience when we entered the restaurant and all the tables were clean and no trash/debris on the floor. We ordered gyros and gyro platter. The lamb/beef was absolutely delicious and prepared fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful.

If you get it delivered, be sure to let them know you need utensils if you’re at work or at a resort. Luckily a guest heard me say that I have nothing to eat it with. They went up to their room and brought me a spork. Otherwise, I got the veggie platter - tabouleh salad, spicy hummus & pita, tomato avocado salad and 8 stuffed grape leaves. Uber eats $21.40 (not including tip). It’s really really good! -1 star for no utensils. Thank you so much for the backhanded apology!!!
A rare 5 star establishment! The food is phenomenal, the portions are huge. A gyro combo including side salad and drink was just under $15 Update:7/14/2022 This establishment is such a hidden gem! I have my food prepared extra spicy and it is PERFECT! it's not that hot at all, but the flavors their sauce brings out is perfection. They are tied for 2nd place of my top five places to eat in Myrtle Beach.
The food is delicious. Hands down. The food was cooked to order correctly, the first time. I had the Philly gyro, my wife had the classic gyro. They've a nice selection of hummus as well, we got regular, and it was great. The atmosphere is cozy and has easy access to 17. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, offered to answer any questions about the food and it's preparation as well as offered to sample. The place is very clean as well. We will definately be back. (I recommend the chicken, which is rare for me becauase chicken is usually dry, theirs was seasoned and moist).
I love Mediterranean style Food. It isn't a trend to eat healthy. These people are clean and made sure that our food didn't touch onions! (Paid attention to details and made modifications to please their guests). We had a great experience... and I think someone aught to put one closer to the beach! Not everyone likes Just pizza and seafood. This food is simple and delicious and very filling! 3 different types of hummus Y'all! Served with warm fresh pita!🥑🥗🍅🥬
The cashier made a lovely suggestion. I got the Casado bowl. It had rice, chicken, black beans, tomato avocado salad, plantains, and I subbed tzatziki sauce instead of tahini sauce. It was delicious. Big portions and affordable prices. Friendly employees.
Best Gyro I've found down here. Great staff, Not sure if they were twins or sisters that looked alike but they were so friendly and went out of their way to help me out. I will definitely be back sooner than later.
Best Mediterranean food around. I drive from Surfside because it’s so good. Order food every week sometimes twice a week and haven’t had bad food yet! Always tons of chicken and the dressing is the best.
Went here for an early dinner. We made a great choice. The gyros are hands down amazing! The Philly steak gyros are also amazing! I also got hummus with pita bread , I thought it was really good too! If your looking for a calm, sit down early dinner, kinda on the cheap side, I recommend this place.

You know the food is good when it gets very quiet, literally no one is speaking because they are so busy eating their food; well this is what happened last night with my mother and I as we ate our to go order from Peño's--silence.
Peños offers amazing Mediterranean food in a relaxed atmosphere. The food is fresh and made quickly on a grill that you can look in and check out. In front of the kitchen is another counter that showcases their in house hummus, Grape leaves, baklava, and other dips and goodness. My mother and I walked in and were warmly greeted by this and their staff. She decided on a chicken gyro and I got their lamb and beef plate. The plate came with a Greek salad stuffed with large tomatoes and onions and mixed in with a delicious dressing. Also, it came with a heaping amount of tzaki sauce and I subbed their original hummus for their jalapeño cilantro hummus. I decided this after the lovely lady that helped us provided my mom and I samples. She was so lovely and helpful! The same goes for the gentleman cooking the food. They both genuinely were happy to see us and help us!
Because they thought we were lovely they offered us a Greek salad that was never picked up and was freshly made. Oh yes, we definitely said yes and it was so deliciously added to my plate as I ate at home. Again, my mom and I were so quiet and had to stop ourselves from eating our entire plates.
Peño really made my day and I definitely will be back. I recommend their food and their staff for fresh and delicious Mediterranean fare!
Wow..awesome!!! Worth every penny..worth the drive .people very nice..explained all the choices..gyro great flavor..falafel nice size..crunchy..pita was very soft and great..grape leaves nice and tight...light flavor ..a nice add to my huge sandwich...light and airy space..very comfy to hang out in..and again people were sooo nice...
Great place to eat. Comfortable and safe atmosphere. Food was delicious, portions were generous. A bit slow but it's winter at the beach so it's expected. Go support this local place.

Peno has wonderful vegetarian options and their service and prices are very good! They have a great selection of scrumptious hummus and falafel.
This place is amazing! Tasty food. Quick service. So far my favorite gyro and falafel in the Grand Strand. There may be better but for now, this spot is #1 Mediterranean food for me.
