Had been smelling it all week, finally stopped in, beef brisket was great, pineapple BBQ chicken was a big hit with my wife, daughter had the pulled pork and really enjoyed it. Dessert cookies were a big hit. Waitress was friendly and attentive.
Negatives, ribs were over done yet still pretty good, and the hostess was standing at the booth beside our table texting the entire time we were there.
Will be a new regular stop for us when in town.
Wonderful place. All of the food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be back especially for the corn bread!

our server was new had only worked 3 days, but she was super friendly, and had great table side service skills!
Tried the pork sliders, they were great, and they have 3 BBQ sauces on the table for you to try and use. Then I had the Beef brisket and ribs, the brisket is so well prepared, just the right amount of smokey flavor, and a lite sauce, they have great Happy Hour beer specials.
We all 3 had the brisket and were all three very happy with it!
O and the cornbread was fantastic! yes its sweet like cake but this is deep NC/SC regional foods and our cornbread is sweet, just haw its supposed to be! O and its one of the only places in Myrtle Beach to get red BBQ slaw! Like Lexington NC has.
Excellent Myrtle Beach Restaurant. I recently dined at Sweet Carolina's. This was a memorable meal. The corn bread that is served as an appetizer is the best I've ever had. My grilled chicken entree was fantastic. Service was perfect! We were greeted promptly, seated promptly, and served quickly. We were made to feel that our patronage was appreciated. This is unusual in a Myrtle Beach restaurant.
The restaurant is decorated nicely and has a great casual feel. By far the best place to eat if you're at Broadway at the Beach. I loved it and I highly recommend you dine there.
Excellent food and service. Baby back ribs and smoked sausage were great! Lunch specials are decent portions and not overly expensive.
I was strolling through B on the B when a couple with a take-oit container stopped me to say that the BBQ pork at "the restaurant over there" was excellent--and I know BBQ" he said. "And be sure to get the corn bread" he added. He was right. This was in off-season, chilly late January, but quality and service were not compromised. My server was charming. The pulled pork was fine. What set it apart were the three different and delicious sauces served as well. Also outstanding was the slaw, with a touch of vinegar perfectly accenting the richness of the pork and sauce selections. The sweep potato was baked perfectly, with an enticing skin also prepped for eating. The corn bread? Served hot with honey butter on the side. I'll be back.
My favorite is their fried green tomatoes. We went there twice and the second time I went back really only because that was on the menu. There were other restaurants in the area we wanted to try but none with fried green tomatoes. So so delicious. I wish I had some more right now. Crunchy bacon bits on top also sprinkled with a kind of cheese. Whatever it was it was just perfect. The wings are good too. Many different flavors to choose from. BBQ ribs are also good tender. And their brisket is good. But my favorite would be the fried green tomatoes and their wings. The restaurant has a entrance from the back which is where the parking lot is or from the front which is the boardwalk area. Wooden benches nothing fancy here basic homestyle southern barbecue joint. Lot of funny signs and pictures inside. Staff is prompt and helpful. Food overall is very good. But... those fried green tomatoes!

Had a great time at Broadway by the beach but was having trouble finding a place without a reservation. Despite them having staffing issues our night, we were seated and given very friendly service.
The food was quite good, though they had run out of ribs, but everything really hit the spot. The beef brisket, in particular, had the perfect amount of sauce and fell apart in my mouth.
Our server, though overwhelmed with tables and requests, handled everything so well, and we were so pleased by how he handled himself. If you are at Broadway by the beach, you would be well-served to check this place out!
Overall the ribs were our party's favorite. The smoked then fried chicken wings were next best. Overall good place to stop in area but not the best BBQ ever. Server was good and made some good recommendations.

I got the beef brisket, bacon, pepper, onion sandwich. My main complaint is that there was only one piece of bacon that was folded in half. Also the brisket was cut into such large chunks they kept falling off. Great flavor though.

Great little spot on Broadway in Myrtle Beach to try. Food was good and came out fast. Open feel lay out of the restaurant. Our waiter came to the table with a smile, could explain the menu well and check on the table often with refills.
We decided to stop in for lunch while visiting Broadway... BEST decision ever! We had a party of 5, seated quickly, staff was super friendly. The food is plentiful and delicious. Their ribs and pulled chicken are to die for! This is their sampler plate! Look at all that food!! I had enough leftover to take back to our beach condo and my teenage son and I both ate it for a late dinner that night!
Great lunch stop. The gumbo was delicious-just the right amount of heat. 2 ribs each- meat fell off the bone. Plenty of leftover brisket for dinner or evening snack!

This place has AMAZING wings. Smoked and then deep fried. The BBQ was also delicious. Sauces were spicy and sweet. Highly recommend at Broadway. Happy hour starts at 4!
Food quality was great. Our server, Gina, did a great job talking care of us! Unfortunately, out of brisket At 6:30. Also, the wait staff was very overworked. There was no host and they were pretty short staffed. Management should address this.
