We went here for Thanksgiving Dinner. Everyplace else was booked, but Joe’s offered turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, etc. The price was reasonable. The food was actually good, as was the service. I’d eat here again, maybe seafood next time!
Pretty awesome place with a great vibe.
If you’ve come for the crab then you’ve come to the right place at Broadway at the beach!
We got a captains platter that included some crab legs and we got the Ragin’ Cajun spice on it and that was super tasty as well as just the right spice level.

We use to have a Joe's Crab Shack but it has since closed. Love to go to one when we travel. Fun place to visit and the people are always friendly. Great cocktail specials.
Quickly seated. Not too busy and I liked the décor. The food a came quick, was hot, and tasted very good.
We enjoyed a variety of seafood experiences. The captain's platter had Dungeness crab, fried flounder (surprisingly a little tough), fried shrimp, coleslaw, and a huge amount of shareable fries sprinkled with Old Bay. Not bad! The waitress seemed a little possessive of the Old Bay when I requested s
The food was pretty good however the steak was a lil bland. Also it would help if there were flavored rice as a option rather than just plain white rice and the Love Potion drink taste like it had nothing but just juice in it. I'd recommend a additional shot of Rum or choose another drink. Our waite
I ate at Joe’s for dinner and it was amazing! It was my first time and my son had a blast. The service was great and the food was delightful! I had a Classic Steampot and my son had King Crab and loved it. The service was quick and they were so kind. I loved the decorative atmosphere and so did my s
Long time favorite restaurant, this location did not disappoint. Big and open setup, room for parties and a giant patio section with great view of the lake and boardwalk. Crab pot was on point as always.
Had a great experience at Joe's Crab 🦀 Shack compliment to management that for an older store she has it "Ship Shape" and looks nice!! Had Low Country Boil and was delicious, bartender Dylan friendly and outgoing. Kids enjoyed the food and atmosphere too!!
Very pricey, but it’s seafood. What’s not pricey nowadays. The food was good and the portion was a nice size. The restaurant was clean and the waiter we had had been there for five years so he was knowledgeable of the menu.
Would I return for another meal next time we are in the Myrtle Beach area?
Absolutely phenomenal birthday experience. Came to dinner with my son and we’re greeted and seated promptly. The crab dip from the sampler was hot and absolutely delicious, and the shrimp sampler entree was just as amazing. Highly recommend soaking the jasmine rice in the scampi sauce for extra yum!
I would like to start by saying if you have little kids this is a great place to take them. They have a playground in the back that over looks the pier which my kids played for about 25 mins while we waited to be seated. One thing I did not like was the place we were seated, right under the shark th
Fun place to eat, the prices are reasonable for what it is. Definitely a tourist joint, we did ask to be seated in a different location because there was plenty of room & open tables, and the hostess was less than accommodating. However our waiter was fun, quick to serve, and went out of his way to
My wife tells me that for crabs, this place is very good. In fact, every time we come here she really enjoys it. For someone who is not a big fan of seafood, this place is average, at best. My steak was dry, over-cooked & tasted bland. My son’s tenders were too spicy. Our service was fantastic and t
