We had a goal in mind to find a seafood restaurant for dinner one evening. Last night, we decided to review some of the best. Captain Benjamin’s always appeared in our searches as one of the best, if not the best based on website/review. We decided to give them a try and we were not disappointed. The buffet is $50 for all you can eat. I haven’t been to too many buffets but this one had a TON of options. Seafood galore, shrimp any way you want it, alligator bites, crab, etc. we were beyond thrilled with the extensive selection offered. It was well worth the price. So good that we might go back before we leave for home on Saturday. I highly recommend this place for seafood. Totally awesome experience overall!
Being from PA I guess I expected more for $49.99. Food was good but there was a lot of fried food. They did have crab legs and many places charge you less if you don't eat them which we didn't. You do get $5 off in addition to the coupon in the coupon books so that was a plus. The service was good, the place is clean and the person refilling was wearing gloves and a hair net which you don't see too often. Lots of deserts to choose from including ice cream. If you can eat a lot I recommend going.
If you are in South Carolina and you are looking for a Seafood Buffet, this is the place to go. We are from NYC and we're scheptical because of all the advertising, But this place doesn't disappoint. I have never eaten that much in one sitting. You definitely get your money's worth. There is so much variety, you have to try the steaks and the crab legs, you a live on those, the desserts are pretty good also, usually I never make it to the desserts but I made sure to try thiers. We ate here twice.
I'll be honest, I was expecting to be let down by a $50 buffet, but I was impressed. Don't know if I'd bring a family here (would get expensive) but on my own, or on a date, its really great food. They have an extensive array of really good seafood and a nice selection of additional dishes. Everything was well cooked and didn't have that "been sitting under a heat lamp" taste.
The service was excellent. I spilled my drink and the server was on top of it and promptly moved me to another table.
Really nice selection of desserts too, which is not always the case for a buffet. I don't know how it stacks up against the other buffets in town, but its excellent food and great service.
Great atmosphere and had a wonderful time with the family and the food tasted great! The only thing that was a little bit of a turn off was food that had sat there and wasn't completely fresh but that's to be expected from a buffet. I loved the crab, shrimp, mussels, and oysters! I also had some chocolate ice cream at the end which was really good and I encourage others to try this place out if you are a sea food lover!
This place was so good! Great service, nice atmosphere & amazing sea food buffet. Best around here. Definitely will be back next year.
First time and it was excellent. Huge variety of seafood and regular fair such as steak, pizza meatballs etc. Will definitely be back.
we came right at opening. it was clean and well organized, and the food was great. our server, Evelyn, was just attentive enough and very friendly. we came for the crab legs and weren’t disappointed, they were perfectly cooked and they were kept nice and warm. there was also great selection of fruit and desserts to top it off. we will be coming back on our next trip :)
It’s was a great place to eat with my wife. We really enjoyed the food. All of the boiled seafood was great but the fried foods were not as good. They were not bad just not as good as the other. They have a great salad bar and an awesome selection of desserts! Would definitely eat here again!
Delicious food and great service. It's very pricey, though. Adults are $50! And children are $40 so expect to spend a lot of money. Honestly, it was totally worth it!! I definitely would recommend coming here! I will definitely be back!
First of all the service was amazing V took really good care of our table. Amazing Service and great variety of food! Will come back again! And also near Family Kingdom where the family can join after eating
The food is usually good (been coming here for 14 years), but today for lunch time the shrimp was chewy and there were flies trying to enjoy my meal with me.
The food here was delicious and plentiful. We were able to enjoy fresh crab legs, oysters, two of my favorites. The wait staff was always around and kept the table clean. It’s a bit pricey but with price of everything going up, it wasn’t a surprise. The restaurant is a decent big size and parking is at the rear. Definitely a visit worthwhile if you are in Myrtle Beach.
It is expensive, but if you are having a great hunger it’s all right.

First time in Myrtle Beach eating at a buffet! Was not disappointed. Everyone in our party enjoyed the array of food, salads, and deserts, etc. Everytime was delicious. Would def recommend!
Mostly fried food with all you can eat crab. It's okay crab legs, but the hot food protein is mostly fried. In 2023, It's $49.95 / person and $3.75 for soft drinks. Server was super friendly and showed us how to eat a craw fish.
It was the best experience I’ve ever had in Myrtle Beach! The crab legs were amazing and fresh!!!
