We had our company party here today and I must say the menu is fabulous! Gives us locals a different option for food and cocktails! Will visit this place frequently!! Thanks to the staff for making our celebration just as fab as the food!
Really, really good food. The oysters were some of the best that I have ever had. The ribs and Turkey Club that we ordered were great also. Highly recommend trying this place.
Had dinner here with a group of about 16 people. Mostly couples and a total pain in the ass with separate checks. Lol However, they were very accommodating. The food was fantastic! The cocktails were on point! And Brad, the bartender was all around amazing!!! �

Great food, great vibe! The pork belly tacos were amazing with the honeysuckle mule. BJ Craven is a talented musician and a perfect fit for this bar!
Great craft cocktails...our favorites were the Berry KY Derby, The Smokin' Oldie and The Punch Room. The Shrimp n' Grits Eggrolls were so amazing...a must try!! And to top it off, our bartender, Daniel, was very friendly and helpful!

We will go back and do an official review, but a just-for fun-on-my-birthday-review is in order... Thanks to Dakota for great service and hospitality! Our beverage of choice was their signature original spicy Bloody Mary (which in incidentally is half-price when you know the monthly speak-easy password!) - house-made mix OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD! An appetizer in itself featuring bacon, peppers, stuffed olives, and asparagus. We had at brunch blue crab and tomato salad and fire steak. Spot On! Temperature of steak impeccable! Tender, juicy, flavorful medallions on skewer with fire roasted veggies! I added the Gouda Mac M Cheese which is absolute creamy, savory heaven with crispy bits. Adam's salad had an ample portion of blue crab, featuring fried capers and charred asparagus! Not over dressed. Not over laden with micro-greens! Both entrees and beverages (service included) were a HUGE 5 for these two foodies! I can't wait to go back on a Saturday night and experience more of this amazing atmosphere and delectable dishes! #hugefans #foodies #amateurreviews

I visited the Strong Waters tent this past weekend at the MB Food Truck Festival. The food was delicious and fresh!
Great cocktails. Classy and fun atmosphere where you can hear your company. The Ol'smokey or whatever was a formal old fashioned with smoked wood chips and was totally different. Had a great variety and could hear the conversation. BJ was a great artist mix of Logan mize and Patrick Davis. Great and personable guy that mixed with the crowd. Awesome experience. Great bar tending and entertainment.

My husband and I had dinner at strong waters on our last night in town. I found this amazing spot on Google and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was beautiful and the live music was fantastic, the gentleman was very talented. Service was wonderful and the food was out of this world! We hope to return next time we are in Myrtle for sure!!!
Just wanted something close by and chose this restaurant, and it was phenomenal. The Smokin Olde was a great Old Fashion, the longer you keep it enclosed the more smoke flavor, the smoked wings were fantastic along with the brussel sprouts, chicken asada, shrimp po boy, and tri-tip, and cheese sandwich. We had good service and a great atmosphere. I will be returning.

So was VERY nervous to go after so many negative reviews but I loved the menu and it was close to our hotel and I like to give a restaurant around here a chance having been to another restaurant that got rave reviews that I absolutely hated here in MB. So going in on high alert with low expectations we went to dinner around 8:15pm on a Sunday there was a couple at the bar and us. Dead empty so made me nervous, is it still so horrible no one is coming?? But we were immediately greeted by very friendly staff. The kind of staff I adore. Helpful, timely and efficient. Orders the truffle fries, the grilled romaine Caesar salad and the beef tenderloin that came with Gouda Mac and cheese and asparagus. They brought the fries out first to give us something to munch on while we waited for our meals, it was a huge plate of fries. There’s a hint of truffle in there but in general your basic edible fries that I can live without. Now my salad was HUGE fresh well made and so filling. The beef tenderloin was melt in your mouth tender well cooked and the flavors were excellent we hate mushrooms and even ate the mushrooms that were on it that’s how well cooked it all was. Our food came out in a timely manner and then the chef came out to see how we liked our meal. Please NOTE: they have a new chef working there who has been there the last 3 months only and he talked how much he enjoys cooking and how this doesn’t feel like a job to him. Great guy. So if you haven’t been in the last 3 months give this place a try again and to new folks I highly recommend it. This place was fantastic clean, nicely decorated and I look forward to eating there on our next visit. I let the other reviews scare me off initially so wanted to leave my own. They also have a cool drink menu, wine and beers on draft.
While on a visit to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, I had the pleasure of dining at Strong Water. The food was incredible, the cocktails phenomenal and our server Bernard’s knowledge of the preparation and ingredients of the entire menu was impressive. I would strongly recommend a visit.

We have mixed feelings about this place. My burger I asked for medium rare and there was no pink in my burger. My husband got dish tacos and there was no side included.
So I would rate my food a 3 at best. We ended up getting a second burger, because my husband felt his shrimp tacos lacked substance without a side.
With my order, I reiterated that we needed to have it medium rare without success. So we showed them how there was no pink and we expected pink with us, and it came out delicious. As it should have been.
But they did not volunteer to reduce the cost of my burger even though it was cooked well done.
So…I’m likely not returning… too high maintenance to get what u order.
We had an excellent experience at Strong Waters. The cocktails and bartender were amazing…and the food was the best we had during our entire trip. I highly recommend checking it out. Order the brisket. You won’t be disappointed!

Food was so good and the server (Cara) was amazing and so helpful as we had trouble choosing between menu items. Kaitlin the bartender made us two delicious smoked drinks and we completely enjoyed every bite! I highly recommend the sliders as an appetizer - the flavors were perfect.
My sisters and I went because it was close to where we were staying and we were PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! There was live music and the craft cocktails were VERY good (not fake flavors with sugary mixes, all fresh juices and herbs). The bartenders were interactive and talented. We didn’t eat food but we plan on going back today! Someone reviewed that the place is overpriced, but having gone to several other places in Myrtle beach, I can say that their prices are the same as everywhere else (and the other places are not near as nice). Cute quaint place that doesn’t feel touristy. Highly recommend.

We went to Strong Waters on a recommendation by a friend. The first night (Thursday) we went I had the beef tenderloin and my husband had the bacon mushroom swiss burger. Everything was delicious!!! I also had a lavender field cocktail and it was amazing! I love lavender and it was perfect. My husband had the smokin' oldie and said that was really good as well (not to mention it was awesome to watch it prepared with the smoke!!). We ended the evening with creme brulee which was also well done and delicious.
Everything was so awesome that we made a reservation on Open Table for the next evening (Friday), and went with the ribeye, sliders and parm truffle fries. For drinks I did another lavender field and a gin slap. I'm not a gin person and talked with our person about that and she made one of the other liquors a heavier pour and lessened the gin. It was so good and I appreciated her willingness to change it. My husband had the blood orange old fashioned and gave it two thumbs up. The food, the drinks, and the service were fantastic, and we'd definitely return!
We love this place ! Came all the way back to Myrtle beach to visit strong water! Walked down to it as soon as we arrived in town! Kaitlyn was phenomenal and so friendly , so relatable and knowledgeable and so fun to hangout with for a couple hours! Thank you for a great experience again! Two years later!
We had an amazing night at Strong Waters. Bartenders were amazing (especially Kelli)! The drinks were well crafted and the truffle fries were a delicious app. We will definitely be coming again for the cocktails and laidback atmosphere. It stands out as a destination in Myrtle Beach!

Did not have food but the menu looks good.
Bartender and server we're both very friendly and super attentive. The menu had interesting choices for craft cocktails and the staff is very willing to produce custom orders.
Of the four spots I tried in Myrtle Beach, this is the only one that can actually produce Craft Cocktails at a reasonably high level. Visiting from a town with a very active bar scene, I can say strong waters would fit in there.
The Smoked Blackberry Sour was well balanced, presented very nicely and is an excellent example of a good bourbon cocktail. I very much enjoyed the Lavender Field where the lavender really takes over from nose through the flavor with a fine citrus kick at the end from the lime juice.
Currently they close at 10:00 p.m. each night, however, the staff is eager to create a full craft cocktail scene at Strong Waters. Solid reviews from patrons such as ourselves could convince the owners to stay open later and turn this into a top tier establishment on the east coast.
I will definitely be going back multiple times during my visits here.
We got there about 8:30pm and they were amazing! Even showing up close to closing all of our food was cooked to perfection! We had a child under 2 with us and they immediately ask what they wanted to drink, brought crayons, and took his order. They were amazing he was fussy after a long day and they staff would smile and wave to him! They totally rocked! I would visit here again!
Tiffany was our bartender and she was absolutely AMAZING! Kaycee the server was great as well!!! Cannot say enough good things about the food Anders (the head chef) has created!!!!
Food and drinks were really good. I forget the name of the drinks I got, but one was a blueberry one and the other was the Royal Mule, both were really good. I got the Mahi Tacos, probably one of the best mahi tacos I’ve ever had, only complaint is that the taco portions were a little small, other than that the overall experience was very good.
Great little place with live music on certain days. Waitress was very sweet and attentive. Hostess was nice and accommodating food taste great prices were reasonable the atmosphere was pretty casual. Kid friendly. They have free parking options.
