Came in to get my food to-go. The guy at the register was nice. The atmosphere was definitely a Jamaican vibe. The place was clean. The food came out quick. The jerk chicken was baked, not grilled. The fried chicken was good. It would have been better if fresher. You could tell it was cooked either
This food was great. The service was kind and prompt. They were fixing the air conditioner, but it did not take away from the atmosphere. I had the jerk chicken, and my husband had the oxtail. It was so flavorful and a little spicy in a great way!!!
I decided to give this place a try after reading the other reviews. I ordered the jerk chicken, oxtails, and a side of fried chicken, especially after reading about how good the fried chicken was.
I can say that the reviews were spot on. The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the cabbage and w
Atmosphere is lovely, cut back on the season salt and it'll be good. Price is not too bad and the staff is very nice, so kudos for that.
The food was absolutely good. You can't go wrong with Oxtail. Employees were friendly and professional. Even the customers were nice. Blessed
I've been wanting to try this place for years every time I go to Myrtle Beach. I finally did today and SHEESH!!! My Jerk chicken with rice & peas(with oxtail gravy), cabbage, and plantains was the best I've ever had state side! I sat on the beach & ate, and people at the beach were asking where it w
Great stop while in Myrtle Beach. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Just wish they were more of a resource for events in the area.
I love this place. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The music made you want to dance. The diners and guests were happy and there were lots of conversations. It felt like "Saturday cookout at mom's", a little loud, but everybody laughing and enjoying thei
I walked in I thought it was warm inside however ordered, the food came out nice and hot. The oxtails are reasonably price, so I ordered that. I am also on a quest to find the best Jamaican fried chicken, so I ordered fried chicken also it was juicy and delicious, perfectly fried and crispy on the o
Quick service and DELICIOUS food with very generous portions! My husband and I ordered jerk chicken and curry chicken. Orders came with rice/beans, cabbage and fried plantains. Definately one of our new favorite food spots in Myrtle Beach. 100% recommend!
All the way from the DMV, DC, Maryland, Virginia, this place has the best authentic Jamaican Cuisine in Myrtle Beach area. The service was friendly with nice music 🎶 and positive vibrations. If you catch the munchies for some real tasty eats, get to this spot quickly & tell them the guy that wears B
Good food and nice people. Stew chicken and curry chicken, cabbage and rice and peas (beans) and potato were excellent. They didn't have any beef patties available at the time we were there. We called, placed our order and picked up our order 15 to 30 minutes later. Plenty of seating available and t
The real Jamaican cookshop, feel just like back a yawd... big up to the chef, the lady at the cashier and all the other workers, food di wicked!!!!
Visiting from Birmingham AL with my family. Looking for oxtails and came across this GEM!!!! Oxtails were tender and succulent. Healthy portion for the price. The cabbage was AMAZING!!! Food arrived in record time, which was surprising since we arrived shortly after the establishment opened for t
This is the second year Mervene has done Thanksgiving dinner for us as we are Jamaican. She out did herself again!!! We had the Curry goat and Oxtail and it was phenomenal! Best Jamaican food in the State of South Carolina! Maybe even the east coast!
This is hands down, the best Caribbean food in South Carolina! The wait was a little long, but well worth it. We went around 5:30pm we made it before a big rush. The flavors were done impeccably well. The meat was tender. The peas and rice were mesmerizing. The cabbage 😩. This is the place to go.
Maybe it's because I'm a foodie. But I give this place a 5 star rating. The atmosphere was very nice. Good vibes good music. Also the restaurant was very clean. I ordered oxtail with rice & peas. This is my very first time tasting Jamaican cuisine. But it won't be my last. I'm in Love ❤️. The food w
I have been waiting MONTHS literally months for this place to have an oxtail plate. They close @ 9 by 7pm every night they're out of oxtail. The curry chicken is okay. A bit overpriced to always be out of something.
Update y’all: I FINALLY GOT THE OXTAIL
