First time here; the Tavern Burger was excellent! And even tho she said it would be cooked medium, it was actually medium- RARE, which is exactly how I wanted it – but others might not – so just want to warn you, in case you have a problem with "pink meat". 😊

Great late night experience. Great service, delicious fish and chips, and quickly sat at a table. Fish was light, fresh, cooked perfect and I loved the fresh fries. Could use a little seasoning or salt overall, but very, very good. Would definitely come back.
The 20 something bartenders Nicole and Kristin were absolutely amazing. Friendly and welcoming. Such fun bartender's!! Highly recommend visiting if they are there.
We sat at the bar and Nicole was our server / bar tender. She was super attentive and provided good suggestions. A huge party walked in and she was hustling and kept her attention on everyone/ you know a good neighborhood joint when you walk in (and we were in the only ones here) that it’s special.

Usually, get their pizza once each time our group visits the obx. Their pizza is a tasty thin crust. Also, their fried shrimp baskets are delicious. The place is a nice environment, and the service is spot on. 👌
Food is excellent! Staff is very attentive and friendly. Food is a little pricey - was a little taken back as to how much when we were back in OBX this last trip. So much so that we went a different route for dinner.
