Always looking for new spots down OBX and this may be the best take out you can get.
They have a huge menu with a ton of different options. We tried the fried chicken sandwich, a couple of the bowls, and a cheesesteak. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous for what you paid.
I loved the fish tacos at South Beach Grill. I wish they made their mac n cheese into a dip because it’s really good too.

Multiple options for vegans and vegetarians across different categories of food. I got the Vegan Yum Yum Bowl. The tofu was fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. I was surprised to see that they have vegetarian AND vegan options, and are very aware and considerate
Hidden Gem, tucked away in a little shopping center. Call 10 mins before they closed. They happily took my order and made suggestions.
Apprehensive about the Yum Yum Mac n cheese, but got it anyway. It was amazing, delicious, wish we’d come here years ago.

They used to have cauliflower wings that were SO good, but they stopped offering them so that was disappointing. I also wish they would offer mac and chees
A little high on prices but everywhere at the beach is. But I don't mind if the food is good. Got Yum, yum shrimp tacos with Cajun fries and fry sauce. Son got the burrito, it was humongous. It was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend and eat there again for sure.
Ordered takeout as restaurants were closing for a tropical storm. My son's chicken sandwich was definitely substantial & delicious. My side of rice & beans was also delicious and satisfying for wanting something small. We look forward to trying other menu items from South Beach.
We ate here twice while on vacation. It's such a convenient carry out place. And super fast! Both times I called it was only a 15min wait on order. Best Yum yum shrimp tacos I've ever had. Rice and beans as a side were great make sure to stir in the red seasoning stuff on top. Fish tacos were great
I found South Beach in 2020 when my family came down in May during the pandemic. We were looking for mainly takeout places. We ended up going back to South Beach two more times that week. Their food is amazing! Their yumyum bowls are perfect! Their menu offers a variety of things Vs. the same selections compared to other restraints. Their always nice on the phone (even if you're calling in a little later than planned) and even have bowls for your pup ♥️ thank you for being amazing So
This place is incredible. Vegan options are great and there is something for everyone on their menu. I spent 3 weeks in NC for work and they became my regular spot.
This is the first time ordering from here. We got shrimp tacos, two types of cheese steaks and the kids chicken quesadilla meal. All the food was amazing I just wish the chicken on the chicken philly was sliced and not in big chunks.
As always, food was amazing! Every time we come down we get takeout from South Beach! My favorite is the Yum Yum Shrimp Tacos and my husband gets one of the burgers(he doesn’t have a fav, he likes them all!). Our 4-leggers love the fried rice for dogs! But please, please, please bring back the fried
We absolutely LOVE South Beach!! Every time we visit Nags Head, it's one of the 1st restaurants on our list to order from!! The food is AMAZING!!! The fry sauce and yum yum sauce are like no other!!!! Service is always super fast and staff are so friendly!!! ❤️
So SO good! We swung by while passing thru to Southern Shores. We had the Tex Mex Bowl, Yum Yum Chicken Sandwich, and my son had the Mac n Cheese substituted with grilled chicken vs blackened. Everything was delicious- the fries were a hit too. Would absolutely recommend and come again. It’s served
