Great taste and local vibes. Immaculate weather too. Would definitely return. Only thing was price was a little high but that’s expected for a touristy area
The food was exactly what we wanted after a great day at the beach/ pool. We had a late lunch and got fish tacos, which were loaded with fish, and a bologna sandwich (+ lettuce). Although i prefer thick smoked bologna, the thin sandwich was exactly what my tastebuds ordered. The fries were crispy and hot (crinkle). The menu is diverse enough to where even the pickiest eater may find something to induldge in. There were leftovers to bring home afterward.
The Outer Banks never disappoints! Beautiful weather, friendly people and GREAT food! This little gem was a great stop! Delicious food and outdoor seating. We will be back! Thanks Snow Bird for the stellar back porch experience!
Should've gotten the Bologna sandwich lol the burger was ok. Lacks on seasoning for my taste. $6 for a hotdog with slaw and barely any chili on it was a little steep. But you get a ton crinkle cut fries I guess. The chocolate shake was the star of the show though. Overall not bad. I'll have to try something new if I visit again.
You have to stop here and get food if you are on vacation. They have some of the best quick food and ice cream in Nags Head. The past two years, we have stopped here at least three times while we are on vacation. The lobster roll was really good. Their ice cream is really good too. It’s actually really cheap for the quality of food.
This place is really close to the beach and a short walk from where we stayed. We stopped in here several times. Great staff and food. Pricing and portions are good. You won't be disappointed. We are always very pleased with our stops here. Give them a try.
I’ve been twice now and it’s been great! Super friendly staff! Walk up and order and they call your name. Plenty of places to sit. I’ve had fish tacos and soft serve ice cream and both were great! Clean environment. Will definitely be back!!
Visiting town on vaca and stopped here on our first night. Was a great experience! Staff was super friendly and helpful, got a table right away even though it was busy, super short wait time for food and the lobster roll was amazing! Highly recommend.
This place is a hidden gem. Roadside walk up type place. Food was fantastic. Soft serve was great. Dole whip and other desserts were also great. Best part is, it's one of the cheapest places around. Well worth a visit.
Yum, Snow Bird!! I've never had a lobster roll, but I am so glad I got my first one from Snow Bird! Every item ordered was delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice side of the road stand with good food and an awesome variety of ice cream flavors. The staff was courteous, and the food came out quick. Would definitely grab a bite here again if I am back in town.
Food was made fresh. Shrimp boats were delicious. Fish Tacos were even better. Kids had chicken fingers and they were good as well. All the food came out HOT.
Cool off with a soft serve, scoops and a cone or the fantastic pineapple dole whip. Get a lb of the seasoned peel & eat shrimp - they are fantastic. Really - just make sure you check this place out. Fast, friendly service and a great spot for the family to grab a bite or treat. Very reasonable prices too for being right across from the beach.
We enjoyed our meal. It was our first visit. I had Thai shrimp tacos & they were delicious. My wife had the fried mahi & it was good as well. Cool little spot. Good fresh food.
Hey Folks..... PLEASE READ ALL ---REAL LOBSTER ROLLS that are FILLED with large claw meat chunks, a little mayo and fresh, crisp celery with fries and a container of melted butter on the side...... DEFINATELY going back!
Well I went back today for another LOBSTER ROLL treat, only to find they went from $17.00 a month ago to $21.00 today.... So much for a Senior Citizen's treat.....
Stopped here to scratch the soft serve itch we had after spending an evening with my parents vacationing at the shore.
We were lucky and there was no line when we pulled in so we walked right up to the window and were able to ask about flavors of the day. The gal inside was super sweet and friendly and gave us a sample taste of the Dole whip for the day: strawberry and pineapple which you can get sep. or as a swirl.
We went with a classic vanilla and chocolate swirl soft serve in a cup and it was a huge portion - like enough for 3-4 people for about $5.
It was soooo smooth and creamy! Delicious. Would def. come back again for more soft serve and also to try some of their food.
Easygoing place with a nice vibe and tons of outdoor seating either on their covered patio at a high-top table or at one of their covered picnic areas.
Great place to grab dinner! Ate outside place was busy but wait wasn’t long. Good food and not expensive. Really good after a beach day.
We went here so many times during our week stay directly across the street. So glad for snow bird. So good!! The fish tacos are bangin!! They could use some more sauce. The sauce was soooooo good. The dolphin boat was bomb too. The pineapple and watermelon dole whip is the best.
