Great dining experience. Great food, great service. The Chefs were on point with the food. If you want great food with a great dining experience with great wine and great service I highly recommend the Napa Bistro.
We had an early Mother's Day dinner. The food was scrumptious. I had a filet mignon kabob with Israeli couscous. Super service! The chocolate cake was easily the 2nd best chocolate cake I ever ate. So tender and deep flavor. My family enjoyed it very much. Definitely going back

I rarely write reviews on places but this place is extraordinary! I come here every chance I get and am never disappointed. I spent my birthday here this year and was so spoilt! Thank you to all the staff. This restaurant is top class.
We loved the restaurant and food. Our waitress was rude, she looked very unhappy she’s in the wrong business. Restaurant manager should make sure the staff is providing quality and superior service.
Enjoyed a wonderful brunch and bottomless mimosas. Food was great and service was excellent. Definitely a nice spot when visiting Napa.
We had a party of 23 for my daughter’s 30th birthday lunch last Saturday. John & his staff were very attentive and the food was delicious!
The creamy lobster soup and calamari were delicious! The empanadas were different from what I usually get at our restaurants and they were refreshing with some avocado and greens.
Our main entrees were all good- and we were delightfully surprised at the serving size.
Loved the ambience, service and the food. Will definitely be back.
I am looking forward to many more visits. I had the brisket sandwich for lunch and salad. My companion the organic fried chicken and sides. Both delicious. Good wine list.
Best restaurant in Downtown Napa ... unique, delicious, consistently excellent food...the best (and we’re locals .... taking people there all the time!)
Terrific lunch spot in downtown Napa. We went here after the Napa Valley Marathon earlier this year. The fried chicken was to die for, and the wine list was very nice for a mid day bistro.
This was the best food we've had in some time. We live locally in Napa & go out to eat at least a few times a week. There are many good places to eat at in Napa but this exceeded our expectations. I had the Chicken Breast Mole & my boyfriend had the Lamb Burger and we shared the Crab Louie salad. His 5 year old loved the Macaroni & Cheese. I'm only sorry that we haven't eaten here before.
We had an excellent dinner experience at Napa Valley Bistro! We sat at the bar and had Gabby as our server - she was fabulous! She provided great recommendations and was on top of it through the busy dinner service! Chef Leandro made our braised short ribs and they were amazing! Such a great evening with awesome service!
This place has classy ambiance, tons of space inside, and it was easy to get a table on a weeknight. They have a decent, pretty diverse food menu and tons of cocktails that look good/interesting; of course, there's no shortage of wines. The crab louie salad was pretty tasty, with tons of fresh crab, but nothing crazy/special other than that. The burger was also pretty decent, but similarly, not much special going on. We received good service and left content.
I had the lamb burger and substituted the chips for fries, it came with aioli and arugula and tasted pretty good but not great. The fries were hot and crispy freshly fried. Our waitress was very friendly. I would return if in the area to try other dishes.

If you are looking for a true Napa experience without the tourist glitz, then visit here! My lunch companion and I split a lamb burger and the short rib sandwich. Both were so delicious that every crumb was devoured. Also, some of the best truffle fries I've ever had! With an extensive beer and wine list, excellent service, and a HomeTown atmosphere, what more do you need
We enjoyed our meals immensely. Husband had the boar and green chile stew. It was delicious! I had the King salmon & it was very nice. Service is always on point. We had a lovely evening & went home raving about dinner.
Lovely Friday outdoor Dinner experience. Courteous host and servers. House Chardonnay was smooth and butterish. Basil Lemonade refreshing. Went straight to the mains with the special Halibut on a bed of flavored mash, flava..was flavorful. The summer veg Risotto was awesome. Topped off with Vanilla Bean Natilla - Tres Leches. Overall a great experience..
Got the filet with shrimp on the side. The file was cooked very well. The shrimp were super tasty. The only thing I would improve was the portion size. Most meals at our group table were in bowls and were small enough portion for a 110lb college girl watching her weight. Flavors were great. Everybody at our table of 14 liked their meal. I will say the main dish of empinadas was the exact same 2 portions as the empinada appetizer. They were about 1.5-2 times the size of a Costco potsticker. Not a meal.
Enjoyed lunch here. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating available. You need to reserve in advance. The mushroom flatbread is delicious. The garlic parmesan fries were great. Beautiful ambience. Very good service. Lunch menu can be better.

I am overdue to write a review for Napa Valley Bistro, as I have been there several times and all have being wonderful dining experiences, this place is low key delicious, family-owned, locals favorite, and supports small wine brands of Napa / Sonoma wine country, great menu both wine and food, cocktails were tasty well I did missed garnished / mint in one but you can't always get it all, specially me I always want more the extra , fancy lol - we dine last night and loved the valentines menu, very thoughtful, with a touch of romanticism, great job and thank you for getting us in.
Our group had a total of 6 people. Everything that we ordered was great. The steaks were tender and cooked just they way we ordered them. Our server took care of us making sure that our drinks were alway full and cleared the table when plates were empty. Great place to go when in Napa.
Pedro just asked if we were visiting from out of state, we said yes! Chicago! His hospitality led to an off menu item. Ribeye was one of the best I've had, tender and perfect that it led to a no so often compliment to the chef in person. Thanks to Pedro. My wife who is a picky eater, offered options after options until satisfied. That is truly beyond customer service.
This place is Delectable! Everything is high quality and delicious. Our waitress Maria was so accommodating and lively and engaged without being too much. Please get the lavender lemon drop! It's sooo good! You won't regret it 😋
Had a nice dinner here on a Saturday night. They had live music playing outside which made for a nice atmosphere on a beautiful evening. The wine list was reasonably priced. Started with the calamari which we liked a lot. The main courses fell a bit flat for us. The scallops were cooked well but the dish itself overall was composed a bit strangely to me and needed a some salt. Same goes for the halibut. Not bad but just wasn’t a home run. Service was very friendly throughout our meal.
Love this place! The people that work here really make this place worth going to. The food is amazing and they make some really good special cocktails. They have a great happy hour 3:30 - 5 pm with a good selection of food at a good price. A great way to get a taste of some tasty food bites.
An amazing favorite of mine here in Napa, CA. A go to place for that special occasion or for its luscious happy hour , the chef owner has combined the best of service, staff, environment and food. The casual atmosphere of clean lines, linen tables, capacity to serve 1 to a party size fits all needs and invites one to recommend some tasty entries. The range of selections such as seasonal lobster, steaks, pasta, and variations of Mexican tapas or bar plates will leave you wondering why you haven't been here yet or recently!
Overall, my experience was ok. First time trying this restaurant. Our server was great! The food was fine, we ordered the calamari, flat iron steak and filet mignon. I did think the mashed potatoes served with the filet mignon had too much truffle.. It was overpowering. The drinks were actually good, we had the pineapple jalapeno cocktail and "el corazon". Stop by and try them out!
