I came with a large party for brunch and a wedding party. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. I ate the chicken and waffles and it was yummy. Nice view and the water fall mosaic was a focal point. I will recommend and return for another visit.

Initially, I thought it was just a store, but I was wrong. Everything was delicious even their coffee. I loved the cappuccino and the mocha was great, too, and oh so big portions!!! I recommend the chicken and waffles, eggs benedict, and omelettes. Yum!!!

Cool little spot in downtown Napa on the river with a delicious breakfast and great service. Very happy we popped in while walking around. My wife had some amazing French toast - and I can never pass up delicious huevos rancheros!

Very good breakfast and a hilarious place to be. Been there is winter, but I can imagine it's even better in the summer with a nice outside place and a look on the river. Probably will be there a few more times within our stay at Napa.

Pretty little place with excellent quality goods. High prices but everything was very good. I made a mistake in ordering and asked for whole grain bread instead of "artisan bread" which I was afraid of being pasty white flour. The whole grain was pasty and fell apart and tasted gross but the rest was good and the artisan bread on my kids' sandwiches was awesome. Let the artists do their art!!!

Service is my number one observation when going to a new place. General Store would have received 5 stars if it weren't for the staff. They have a large quantity of staff running orders but coffee/drink maintenance doesn't seem to be any one person's job/priority - it should be as I ran out of coffee halfway through my breakfast. The eggs and French toast were awesome. The coffee was a medium blend which was good. Bacon was okay but my serving was like 1.5 slices. Once the food was delivered with a very polite bearded young man, I pretty much was abandoned. As it seemed many of us outdoor folks were forgotten as a large 15 person group was priority #1. Management needs to refocus their wait staff.

Simple (2 page menu) but delightfully varied, flavorful options to satisfy any palate. Service was quick and servers were very attentive. The salmon flatbread was to die for and the fresh squeezed OJ was a welcome change to carton and bottled OJ. The gift shop had a nice variety of gifts in all price ranges and the building, which is home to this restaurant/shop (as well as several others), is conveniently located on the Riverwalk with great views in a historic, well-maintained building. Highly recommended for those visiting or passing through Napa!

Perfect day, perfect place to sit outside and have some lunch. I had a salad with pork, vermicelli, peanuts and other stuff. Very good. My husband had a turkey sandwich. The restaurant have sitting inside and outside. Great location facing the Napa river. Highly recommend!

The food is always magnificent the atmosphere Is great. The service this time around was less than stellar. It was my birthday and the waiter forgot to take my order, Kept trying to get his attention and he kept forgetting. He slammed a mimosa down in front of me I think because he knew the service was bad. I can't drink so... I told him thank you, I'm sorry. He said oh well give it to somebody else! He seemed to have an attitude about it. So we just paid and left. So sad when the bad service overshadowed the great food!

Far and away one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to! Can't wait to go back. The food was properly portioned, ABSOLUTELY delicious, and unique. The inside area has a cute store (hence the general store) where you can shop around a bit, as well as a separate area for patrons who are eating. The outside seating is really fantastic though, with a view of the river and just right outside downtown Napa so it's an easy walk in. The price for what you get is really reasonable here, and we enjoyed our meals thoroughly. I would definitely, definitely urge you to visit this place if you're coming to Napa and want a great breakfast!

We had 9am Sunday breakfast and it was not crowded, no waiting. Food was freshly cooked, tasty and proper portion. Menu is straight to the point and fairly priced. Our server was very friendly, so as the other staff at the retail area.

Great breakfast spot. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our last day in Napa. The store itself has a lot of cute home decor and some pet toys. I had the corn pancake platter. The 2 pancakes were nice and fluffy and I couldn't finish them it was a lot. The egg were well prepare and the potatoes were well seasoned. MY husband had the huevos rancheros. It was a interesting interpretation of the dish. It was stacked instead of placed separately on the plate. He did say it was spicy and well seasoned but he would have preferred less beans. At one point he only got a big scoop of beans. Maybe a sauce on the side would have helped. I also had a tea which made me very happy because it was a dome bag tea not a cheap tea bag. My husband got a Coffee and he said it was fresh and tasty.
