We have two Indian food restaurants in town. I like both but Yak and Yetis menu is simpler and the food was excellent. I had the Momo dumplings (vegetarian) and the Chicken Tikka Masala. I could have eaten 2 plates of dumplings and been fine. It was all very good and I highly recommend
We love Nepalese food and were looking forward to trying this restaurant as soon as we discovered it. We had the lamb vindaloo and lamb biryani. Both were delicious, perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and served sizzling hot. The service was attentive, pleasant, and fast. I could have happily eaten a half-dozen of their fresh, warm garlic naan! The restaurant is decorated with warm and cheerful yellow, red and earth tones like a Nepalese bazaar. We were seated at a two-person table by the windows and our server adjusted the blinds twice to let in just the right amount of light. We will definitely be returning to enjoy other things from their menu!
Everything we tried was delicious and the entire staff smiles. Casual and comfortable, but top notch food and service.

A family favorite, we have loved every dish we have tried. Chicken 65 is a favorite!! The staff is outstanding, so attentive and friendly.
When first walking into the restaurant it smelled so good. Everything was delicious and fresh. Comfortable place nice and cool and great ambiance. I cannot even begin to say how delicious the food was. We had two types of tikka masala with basmati rice, these crispy veggie things that were out of this world. Mo mo dumplings, nan ( I hope I spelled everything right. ) and I had an iced Chai drink. So good, I wish we had this in Placerville. Yum!!

Absolutely the best Indian food in Napa! Problem is the word is out and it takes longer to get waited on. Well worth it!
Mike and I love the food and the atmosphere here. They also have DAOU Chardonnay by the glass or bottle and it’s amazing with the food.
Fantastic food. I hope that next time we are eating in and not take out. Loved the food and so did the kids. The Chana Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala were delicious. If there was anything to improve on was the heat of the tikka, but that's all good since the kids loved it. The Pakoras and Samosas were also delicious. Thank you! Looking forward to the next visit.

Got the Saag Paneer and momo and had those amazing chips with mint chutney. Everything was so delish!!!! Staff was super helpful and friendly and even gave us some courtesy items to try. Can't wait to come back!

My family has been here twice. The food is really good! The portions are a bit small, but the price reflects that. Please note if you order mild, it means no spicy at all. If you like spicy food, at least go for medium. Since this was the first time we were here, we had no clue. You don't find Nepalese restaurants often so it was nice.
Absolutely delicious Nepalese dishes! Clean bathrooms, great service! The kukuhru chicken and eggplant was to die for! The lamb biriyani rice was aromatic and breathtaking!
Such a lovely experience. It was my first time eating Nepalese food and I loved it. Best dish was the lamb with potato and spinach curry. It was cooked and spiced so well. The dish had several layers to it. The staff was so nice and we were very well taken care of. The momo sauce and the momos were great.
One of our favorite restaurants in Napa. Consistently exceptional food! We stop in for lunch & dinner occasionally and get takeout dinner all the time. Some standout dishes: chef’s special chat, chicken + veggie momos, chicken tikka masala, chicken & eggplant, saag paneer, biryani, garlic cilantro naan. But honestly everything I’ve tried has been delicious. If you’ve never tried Nepalese food, give it a shot! My family always requests it when they’re in town.
Such a lovely place. We walked in and were greeted and sat within no time. We went very close to their closing time. Ordered the momo’s (ofcourse), the sizzling chicken tandoor. The momos were bomb. The sauce was soooooo good. 5+ and defo would come back again for the momos. The tandoori came out sizzling and piping hot. Very juicy, tasty. The sauce on this was soo good too. Would def come back.
I am thouroughly impressed by all of the flavors of each dish I tried. I have NEVER found an Indian/Nepalese restaurant that I liked for I am not a fan of spice, but I loved every dish I tried and I kept wanting more. It was all cooked perfectly wasnt spicy to where it burned your tastebuds off. You could taste all the individual ingredients and of every dish. Highly suggest this place. Thank you much!
Yak and Yeti is one of the best restaurants in Napa, hands down. Been coming here for years and every single time I try that lamb Tikka misala, it blows my mind. They have best Himalayan dishes I've ever had. Pakuras, samosas, momo's, curries.. Every dish I've had is amazing. The owners are so kind and welcoming too. Give this place a try!!
Yak and Yeti is one of those places where you wish there was a higher star rating available to separate it from others. The taste of the curries, samosas, tandooris but more than anything the tikka masalas are heavenly ! The rich buttery taste of the sauce with perfect amount of spiciness leaves its flavorful, delicious mark in your mouth after it finds its way to there at the end of the soft buttery naan, and it is that taste that makes us want to come back and eat here anytime we visit Napa!
It is so good, you crave to go back there after a while.
The service is friendly, the ambiance is cool, peaceful, the prices are right. If you are around, give it a try and i am sure you will get hooked if you love Asian food.
