Went there for birthday. Food was excellent as well as our server. What a nice birthday meal. We not only got my free meal but our server also brought us a free dessert! You don't get that birthday meal anywhere else. Will definitely go back and recommend to family and friends
My husband & I are regular customers at Naperville Houlihan's. Usually, we go for appetizers, 3-5 to share, with the 'shrooms a MUST! This past visit, on Wednesday, for my birthday meal, we decided to have entree salads, and it was a great decision. My husband chose a Steak with Veggies Salad, which included asparagus, beets, lettuce, onions, delicious, tender filet mignon, cooked to his specification. My choice was a Lettuce Wrap Salad, snow peas, peanuts, carrots, varieties of greens as well as warm chicken cooked in a delicious Chinese sauce. Both were more than enough for us, filling as well as satisfying. Our server, Michelle, was excellent, as every server at Houlihan's has been, in our experiences there. My meal was free, a nice bonus. We shall visit Houlihan's frequently because it is a satisfying, fun place to go for lunch, dinner or a snack.
Quality food at good prices. I've never been disappointed. The stuffed chicken breast is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Best potato soup ever. Great fish tacos. Cuban egg rolls are delicious.
At Houlihan's somehow, I always order the wedge salad. The steak is prepared to order and is always perfect. The wedge is fresh, crisp the dressing perfect, with asparagus, polenta and beets makes for a perfect meal. Plus the staff is outstanding.
The few times that I have been there is has been a great experience. The food is actually better than expectations, the vibe is great and the service is very good.
I had the scallop risotto & the egg rolls for an appetizer- phenomenal! Our waiter Dan was very attentive and helpful. We will be back.

This Houlihan’s is my favorite location. My go to is the stuffed chicken breast, which has never disappointed.
Unfortunately, my most recent dining experience was awful. Our server was absolutely terrible. He did not know the cocktail nor food menu and barely visited our table. Additionally, went we brought our disappointment to his attention he shrugged and said, “Okay.” Having waited tables for 10 years I was shocked by his behavior.
Our drinks were poorly made and my mother’s martini was served a little more than half full. The food portions were extremely small.
If I were basing my review on just this visit’s service, food and drinks I would give 1 star.
Fortunately, the manager noticed the lacking service and disappointing food. He ended up comping our entire meal which was incredible and I commend management.
Thanks to all of my other excellent experiences and management’s attentiveness and impeccable service I am happy to provide 5 stars. I know our future experiences will live up to their normal excellence.
I highly recommend this location and if you have any issues reach out to the manager as he clearly understands how to improve any negative experience.
Always definitely every single time Houlihans is a winner! Irregardless of the menu choice, the meal is delicious. You can never go wrong here. We ordered the Fish Tacos which were crunchy and the French Dip which was great comfort food. Both were yummy and would definitely order again. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommended any time of any day!
Spicy chicken & avocado egg rolls were delicious. Service was slow to start but inviting and great overall. Decent crowd for weekday lunch. Nice experience for the family.
We had a delicious salmon lunch combo but we had to find menu on our phone and show waitress. Why are the combo menus not available? Choices were several entrees plus soup or salad. Tomato soup and potato soup were very good. Green beans were prepared well with garlic flavor.

For $20, the 3 course meal is a good deal. I chose the spinach dip, shrimp pasta and chocolate cake. The spinach dip was really good. The shrimp in the pasta was good, but I think the pasta had too much oil used. The chocolate cake was also really good.
