The sushi was phenomenal. We came out of Glendale heights just to try this place and it was definitely worth the drive. When you enter it is small but not cramped. I would recommend the Sexy mexican, it is simple yet delicious.

This is a take-out place all about good sushi and fresh seafood. Dave and his wife (who makes the sushi) are great people and everything they serve is great. The rolls make not look cheap at first, but they are big rolls so you don't need to order as many as you do other places. Taste is great!

My favorite roll was the Dragon roll that comes with shrimp tempura, crab sticks, cucumbers, BBQ eel and avocado. The cucumber gives it a nice crunch when you bite into it and the sauce was really good. The nigiri were a nice size and fresh. I accidentally ordered smoked salmon instead of fresh salmon since I wasn't paying attention when I was filling out the sheet and they were next to each other. The smoked salmon were good, but I like the fresh ones more. They were not busy when I stopped in for lunch on Friday. Prices are comparable to other places around. They offer 1/2 off signature rolls on Mondays, including dine-in and carry out. Soft shell crab appetizer $10 - A little mushy on the inside, but crunchy on the outside and tasted good. Dragon Roll $15 - Yum! Sexy Mexican Roll $11 - Good when you're in the mood for cilantro. Spider roll $9 - Nice and crunchy Harumaki $9 - This was a good spicy tuna roll with a slight crunchy top.

I live right around the corner and I can't believe I didn't realize this place was here! The sushi seemed fresher and of a higher quality than other sushi places I have been to and the price is very similar. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend them!

Sushi and Bento were very good. Presentation and freshness of sushi was good. The teriyaki sauce is house made and the steak was cooked just right. The miso soup was better than most, because of the addition of more vegetables made it stand out. They also had a good selection of Japanese beers and Japanese whiskey, besides the usual sake offerings. I would recommend this place as the service is good. They still do carry out orders but the inside is nice enough for a date night. It's apparently been updated recently.

Great place - looks like a hole-in-the-wall but the sushi is great. It should be: they are a fish market. Pleasure to meet the owner and hear his story. Highly recommend.
