Service was amazing
Atmosphere was a 10 out of 10
Steak was good but by far not the best I have had. I had the cowboy ribeye and a side of asparagus both had great flavor.
The highlight was the smoked old fashion. I tried my best to talk myself into another but I didn't. The service was quick and efficient. The servers took care of all your needs. Definitely try if you are here. It was worth it.
Nicholas was an amazing server!! He went over the menu explained everything. Would highly recommend requesting him could not ask for a better experience! The steak was amazing. Cook to perfection season very well and cook to perfection. The tables were nice and cozy to the view was amazing.
This is located inside the Gaylord in Nashville.
We sat inside the bar area. They keep a few high tables reserved for walk-ins that want to eat without waiting.
Jim waited on us. We ordered the crab cake. We get crab cake everywhere we can. If it's on the menu, we order it. This crab cake was good, but not the best we've had. The greenbeans side dish was excellent and may be the best we've had! The french onion soup was very good. My steak was excellent, as well, and cooked as ordered. The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. The outer crust added a nice flavor and texture. My companion had the salmon. Again, it was cooked perfectly. Jim was a very good waiter and took care of us very well.
We spent over $200 for this meal. Very pricey.
I recommend this place for the food if you can afford it.
Fabulous experience. Was the intimate atmosphere we were looking for. Top quality food with generous portions. Extremely happy with our evening there.
Nicholas is amazing! He explained everything and provided great suggestions! We were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and he made our trip in so special for her! I truly appreciate him and his partner Germil. And Shanita was great to chat with! Thank you all for an incredible night! Is it wrong to eat there two nights in a row? #askingforafriend ;)
We had such a wonderful and memorable dining experience, largely thanks to Paul for the exceptional service! Truly fantastic! The seafood tower, my swordfish, husband’s Colorado rack of lamb and shared deserts were all delicious, perfectly prepared and served with true excellence! Thank you again Paul from your new friends Karen and Doug.
Sean was wonderful! Drink and food was delicious. We had a pork chop and steak. I usually put steak sauce in mine....not needed! Meats and sides are shareable. (Just fyi) Love love love
Bar area was cozy. Have a room with comfy chairs and a fire to sit and enjoy drinks. Made reservations and was sat right on time. Server was great and guided us to great food choices. The filet mignon was amazing! Steak melted in your mouth. Sides are big enough to share with another person. Sat outside on the deck area surround by beautiful lights and great atmosphere. Cheesecake for dessert was delicious!
We ate a late dinner here on a Thursday night. We were able to be seated with no reservation. Our toddler was with us, and we saw other kids throughout the restaurant, which is great for fine dining establishment. We ordered a bottle of Merlot and the Tartar to start. For dinner, we split the 36oz Prime Porterhouse between 3 adults. Along with a side of mushrooms and macaroni and cheese. They gave us additional plates. The meal was fantastic and very delicious. Cost us $350+, but it was worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly!
My daughter and I are locals and stayed at the Opryland Hotel and had a spa day and dinner at The Old Hickory Steakhouse. Fantastic decision. Had Bacon App, Wedge Salad, and French Onion Soup. ALL FANTASTIC!!! Then for main course we had Cowgirl Ribeye with peppercorn sauce, asparagus and mashed potatoes with lobster and lobster bisque sauce. Shut the front door!!! Slap ya mama!!! AMAZING!!! Ended the dinner with EPIC Crème Brûlée. OMG!!! Food coma!!! Our waiter Nicholas was the best ever. Infectious personality and very knowledgeable of menu. His sidekick Eid from Egypt was also amazing. Cannot say enough about this duo. I even sang a special song for them. It is about this Crème Brûlée. In honor of Whitney Houston. Here it goes. If I, should stay, I would eat, all the, Crème Brûlée. Lol. But I know you’ll think of me each and every day.
Love you guys and this amazing staff and food!!! Will be back many times. Kelli and Marschel
