Caney Fork River Valley Grille - Nashville - Photo album

Came with a local friend for dinner, and I was pleased with my overall experience. The dining area is huge with a hunter's cabin feel with plenty of seating room. The staff is very friendly and welcoming in a very southern family way. I ordered the gator bites to get started and then had the chopped
If you visit, sit at the bar and hang out with Eddie. Great sense of humor and plenty of recommendations. I only gave the food 4 stars as everything was well done and I asked for medium rare. That being said, it was very tasty. The fried cheese curds were amazing. And the burger was good. The
Such a great local spot! Had an excellent live band playing when we went on a Friday night. We split the Caney Sampler and the Elk sliders. I will say it was quite a bit of fried food… but all was tasty. Favorite thing was for sure the fried green tomatoes! Backwoods tea was also excellent. Great
Fully enjoyed this place. Friendly service from start to finish. Eddie and his staff were courteous and the food was TOP NOTCH. I personally enjoyed the Corn Fritters so much, I asked for extra.. Portions were more than enough after the plentiful appetizers… (Fritters, drink, etc.) I highly recommen
What a neat experience! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff are super friendly. I absolutely love the country vibe. The alligator bites and frog legs are excellent 👌🏼. The bison burgers are huge and delicious 😋 If you haven't been I highly recommend visiting, you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I ate here the other night for the first time and we live here in Nashville. We absolutely loved it. The food was awesome. She had catfish and I had steak medium rare, with gator bites. The steak has the taste like it just came off a charcoal grill. Awesome. Gator bites were ok in my opi
Loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service was great! I had the chopped steak, mashed potatoes, and sweet corn. Every bite was delicious.
I have eaten at The Caney Fork Fish Camp several times over the last several years. Each time has been a very pleasant experience. Today my wife and I ate there and our waiter Matt was fabulous! Food was great and atmosphere is cool.
This place was awesome. Several rooms of cool things like a truck and a waterfall and a fish pond. There was a bar rooms live music. There are stuffed animals and fishing and hunting themed displays. Now the food is great! I had the catfish and shrimp and fritters. Yum! Lyvette brought out some chip
One of the best places we visited for dinner in Nashville. Very nice eating experience. We thought that it was going to be crowded but the place is huge. No wait! Good service and great food! Some impressive scenery located throughout the restaurant too…they had one of my cousins sitting there!
Walked in on a sunday for a nice meal with my lady. I was seated right away, which was surprising for a sunday afternoon. Drinks and appetizers came lightning fast. Enjoyed a ceaser salad and chicken wings. Both were excellent. My lady had the ribs, and I had the southern platter with catfish and
Best stop in Nashville so far! We started off with Fried Green Tomatoes and Gator Tail. Both had a delicious dipping sauce. The apps were absolutely scrumptious, served hot and fresh, and came out quickly. We both had the Elk Sliders with Fried Okra and Campfire Potatoes. Oh my. Those taters
I really cool place to eat right next to the Gaylord resort. So we got to try elk sliders and a bison burger. Both were wonderful. The fried corn on the cob was really good. The service was a little lacking, but Lori did a good job of trying to keep us in the right mood. The catfish was also a nice
I had really high expectations for the ribs. And don't get me wrong, they are good. For some reason I anticipated that they smoked them using wood. They are slow cooked, but not slow smoked. Still, I finished a half rack with some very good okra and broccoli. Chased it down with a Blackstone Por
Attentive waitress got complimentary corn critters(hush puppies) gator bites were small and salty but ok. Didn’t taste Cajun. Mash potatoes wasn’t creamy enough, slaw needs some Mayo as it is dry. Bbq wings weren’t bad and tilapia was good. Shrimp was delicious 🤤
Walked in and was greeted by a young woman who when we said we were from the North got excited for us to try a true Southern Wild Game restaurant. I tried it all. Fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, gator tail, elk, frog's legs, bison, catfish and more. Nothing disappointed. And it all tastes a
