Some of the best food and drinks I’ve ever had! Our appetizer came out quickly, but took a little longer on the entrees. We weren’t in a hurry, so we weren’t worried about it... without us saying anything about it, the manager came over and apologized and gave us a discount to use on our next visit. I definitely would recommend this place, and can’t wait to come back and try more things on the extensive menu!
Great spot for breakfast, line was an hour long but we got a spot at the bar area and the bartender was very nice and knowledgeable. Biscuits were very big and delicious - recommended by the bartender. Got a S'mores Iced latte and it was heavenly. Should definitely add this spot to your MUST list!
The food was excellent! Portion sizes were just right! The service was also great! The lemonade I ordered was a little tart but that’s ok, I just added a tad more sugar 😉! I would recommend this place to my friends and those visiting Nashville and I will definitely be back!
It takes a lot for me to rave about restaurants but this place is absolutely amazing, I tell everyone I know to go. Get the ricotta and honey app, try the Queen Bee cocktail, mushroom tortellini is to die for (eating leftovers rn, just as good as they were last night)...pour some espresso over the milk and honey gelato. Ok my mouth is watering, bye. Enjoy!!
My cousins and I met at lunch...literally we met for the first time at lunch. None of us had eaten here, but we had a great lunch. It was about an hour wait, but what I expected for a Saturday. We sat on the patio, which was cooler than I expected as hot as it was outside. Our server was great and upbeat. I had the the short rib grilled cheese and it was AMAZING! I wanted the turkey and Brie, so will have to come back soon to try it. We all enjoyed our lunch and the experience.
Nice cute little nostalgic cafe. Great food and great service must go for their breakfast
Service at the bar was good. They offered some unique breakfast meals i had not seen anywhere. I tried the Alabama Pork biscuit. It was bery different and good at the sametime.
Everything was good. Especially enjoyed the fresh grapefruit juice w a little honey! Waffles and bacon and fresh fruit were delicious too!
Milk & Honey is the best restaurant in Nashville hands down. It is worth the wait to get in and don't listen to anyone else trying to tell you otherwise. We waited over two hours for our table, and it was worth it. In the meantime, I would suggest hitting another bar while you wait.
Our server Alex was very personable and friendly. He kindly brought over our bottles of champagne and was hospitable to all members of our party even though we were a little rowdy and rambunctious.
The food was to die for, and you honestly cannot order anything wrong on the menu. Everything is delicious. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken, and it was amazing. I tried the waffles and chocolate chip cookies as well and they were also out of this world. I cannot wait to come back here again one day and try some other items because everything looked so good!
I love the menu here. They have lots of food to choose from, and seem to have a heavy lean towards pork.
This food is just OK. The fried chicken does not seem to be seasoned at all! It’s just fried. And I did have an omelette. That was delicious, the biscuits are also very good. They do have vegan options that were very good also.
You will spend about $25 per person here.
The location is excellent. There is a parking lot right across the street, there’s parking directly on the street in front of the restaurant, and there’s also a parking garage nearby.
Outside of our server, Matt, getting a little frustrated with us for being slightly indecisive, the service was good. We were initially told there would be a one hour wait but it turned out to be about 30 minutes. Everyone was kind and our requests were addressed immediately. The food did not take long at all to come out.
One thing I must mention: they brought us dirty plates to eat from! We brought it to their attention and they quickly resolved it with clean plates.
Very cute restaurant with great food! I came here for breakfast with my husband and my parents. We came here around 8 am on a Tuesday, there was no wait. When our waiter came to the table to greet us, he already had four cups of water to give us, it was so nice! All of our food was perfectly seasoned - I can’t say the same about most restaurants lately so this was really great. Everyone was very happy with their meals and there was plenty of options for everyone. My dad was happy to find a healthier option, he had grilled chicken with veggies. Both my mom and my husband had omelettes, with which you could have home fries or berries on the side. The side of berries was a good portion. The home fries were soo good, I would return just to eat those again! After we ate breakfast, we purchased some pastries to go - we got a pop tart, a scone, a muffin and a salted chocolate chip cookie. The pastries were just as delicious as the breakfast! The chocolate chip cookie was huge, enough to share, and the salt made it extra yummy!
Take your time to have brunch at this amazing place, everything is delicious. The Bloody Mary is exceptional, we also ordered a croissant with butter, the B.L.A.T.
(Applewood bacon, avocado, lettuce, ripe tomato, Duke’s mayo, seeded multigrain bread) is messy and mouthwatering, the scone was amazing, the breakfast skillet was a killer, every calorie was well spent. The staff deserves an ovation, despite the busyness of the place everyone was calm and professional. Prices were very reasonable, me and my husband ate like kings for no more than 60 bucks and they use high quality products some of them local.
Keep in mind you might wait couple of hours to get your table but is worth it, the bar sitting doesn’t need reservation and it can be a fast option if you are by yourself.
Looking back at the then, we were so excited to eat and try everything that I just took these photos REAL quick!
So we tried going one day and the wait was like TWO HOURS! We heard so many good things about it that we went the next day and made sure to go earlier so the wait wouldn’t suck too bad and….it was still an hour wait. 🤣 Either way, we waited and it was SO worth it.
We got some chicken & waffles, the Alabama pork biscuit, and my wife’s personal favorite the ricotta & honey. To drink we ordered the lavender honey latte & the Nutella latte.
Good food, good service, variety of options, a bit of a wait to get in. I ordered the farmhouse biscuit with a side of redeye gravy and my wife tried the Hodgepodge Hash. We also shared a biscuit with honey. The biscuits were very good. The sausage on the farmhouse biscuit had excellent flavor. The redeye gravy added a nice depth to the already wonderful flavor combination. My wife enjoyed her hash, but thought it was a bit vegetable heavy and could have used a few more potatoes. Our server Alec was friendly and attentive. Overall, very good and would recommend.
Best brunch place we visited while in Nashville! Food and drinks were amazing. It is busy and there was a long wait however we got lucky and sat at the bar.
Great brunch spot! Food is amazing! They are know for their baked items. I recommend trying something with their buttermilk biscuit. We had the burrata & fig, fried chicken & biscuit, hot chicken & waffles. Enjoyed all of them…the hot chicken is a lot spicer than I thought and it creeps up on you as you keep eating. Had a hard time enjoying this dish. If you love super spicy food, this is for you.
Flew into Nashville early on a Tuesday and couldn’t check in to hotel just yet. We RM dropped off our luggage at the hotel and asked where is a good place to eat, they recommended Milk & Honey so we walked on over. Waited about 10mins for a table, we sat down and our server greeted us and offered to take our drink order!! Everything was GREAT, so much so we came back another time while we were in town!!
So delicious. We loved our brunch here. Great, friendly service. The pumpkin spice latte was SO yummy. They even had a shelf for us to set our suitcases on— how thoughtful!
Milk and Honey Gulch is a MUST if you are in the Nashville area. The food, variety of selections, atmosphere we're just top notch. It felt intimate and fancy but was down to earth at the same time. Your PERFECT brunch place, tourist spot, solo dining, anytime dining with an affordable price tag. Food selection: there is something here for everyone. Eating healthy or have food restrictions? No problem, they have really nice well balanced options. There were a few in my travel party that had food limitations and the dishes they got did not make them feel sick. That's a win win for me! I personally lean more to heavy veggie dishes and they had them and they were fantastic. The pressed juices!! They were amazing and the combinations are well thought out for maz benefits! The coffee and bakery options, just delicious. They had other great options to indulge in too that were just great comfort food! Like I said, something for everyone. This is one stop you'll want to add and put on your list. It's worth it!
There was no wait when we arrived, but after we were dining, the line at the door grew.
We ordered biscuits and honey as a starter. My husband wanted extra butter.
All our food was delicious. The fruitcup was nice and fresh.
Our server was friendly and answered our questions about menu items.
SERVICE:
My wife and I visited this restaurant while we were in town and ABSOLUTELY LOVED the service and the food. The wait would have been 45 min, so we decided to go to the bar to eat instead. There we were quickly greeted by T'Avis who was a great bartender, offered some great food selections, & kept us in good conversation. His co-bartender Shane was also awesome and they worked together like a flawless team taking our order and refilling our drinks, food running, and ensuring we had everything we desired. Then Boshi, the manager brought our main courses out and it was worth the wait! She was so sweet and made sure to offer her assistance if we needed anything special. I literally felt like a family member at this place, lol!
FOOD:
We started out w/Liquid Golden mimosa that my wife loved. It was infused with several unique fruits that touched her ❤️. I had a Nutella Latte that was tremendous and just what the doctor ordered to warm our FL blood in the crisp fall air. It was perfectly sweet with a bit of bitter cocoa powder sprinkled in to give a great contrast.
We chose the almond croissant which is A MUST! It was huge first of all, plenty to share amongst 2-3 people. It was made fresh, perfectly flakey warm on the inside and had plenty of toasted slices of almonds for good texture differences. Inside the croissants was an unexpected river of a sweet, warm almond treasure inside that set this this pastry off!
I had the Hot chix & waffles which were amazing. The chicken was very cayenne peppery with a nice flavor. If you're not used to hot this may burn your mouth up a bit. It was a nice mix with the maple syrup and crispy Waffle for a symphony of sweet & savory.
Wifey had the Hot Mess with added Hot chix. This is one of the most popular dishes they had. Great choices.
Both dishes were very filling and we didn't finish, do to the drinks and croissant at the start, so we grabbed a takeaway box. Our main dishes didn't get pics b/c we dug in immediately and forgot, lmbo!
You must try a croissant, a latte, mimosa and be prepared to not have enough room to finish you delectable meal that you will be happy you saved so you can experience it again later. 😄
PRICE:
We were surprised by the decent pricing which ended up being about $30/person which included a solid tip too. Very reasonably priced for the value and service so please pack this place out and go see our our guys T'Avis and Shane at the bar. Be sure to give Boshí kudos for her team's great service.
This was my 1st time here. We had a wait time of an hour. When we sat down, I noticed how loud the place was. It was hard to communicate with our server at times. Stephanie was amazing, though. We ordered the PORK CONFIT POUTINE and it delicious. I got chicken and waffles. The chicken could have used some more seasoning, but it was a great experience. I would come again.
Updating my previous review because we decided to give it another try. Our experience the other morning was 10 times better than our original experience. Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service.
We ordered chicken and waffles, avocado toast, and coffee of course!
Delicious food, and there was only a 5 minute wait (Wednesday morning). We will 100% be back on another weekday, way too busy on weekends but during the week it’s just fine! If you come on a weekend, be prepared for a long wait though!
Thank you to the management for the gift since our first experience was subpar, you made this a fantastic experience!
Great breakfast spot! Vibe was great as well as the staff. Had the Hot Chicken and Waffles and found it tasty. Wasn't too hot and they had sauce on the table for those who like to amp up the heat. My wife had the ham and cheese omelette which was great too. hlighly recommend to anyone-especially after a long night of partying!;)
We had a awesome time here. They had great food as well as a few vegan and vegetarian options :)! Fair warning there was a pretty long wait but it’s totally worth it as the food was of good quality and the staff were very accommodating. Grateful for the outdoor seating and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Overall very happy with every aspect I would totally eat here again! I recommend the chicken and waffles. And the drinks were excellent
It was packed when we got there but luckily someone was getting up from the bar so we sat there. It helps that it was only 2 of us. I can’t imagine the wait time for everyone else. Drinks were amazing, food was amazing. I would recommend the wait if you can swing it!
