Love finding places like this when I travel.
We had the double burger and fries and a pulled pork sandwich.
The burger was DIVINE!!!! I would definitely hunt this place out next time I visited Nashville.
I love Hugh baby's sandwiches. I've been to Hugh baby's 4 times total and every single time my sandwiches have been made fresh. The reason for my 4 stars is because each of the 4 times I've come, my fries have been seemingly old and definitely cold. Now that is a bummer because I have always been told Hugh baby's has awesome fries which is why i keep going back to give them another try. Unfortunately I won't be trying the fries again, but the burgers and chicken sandwich I would come for any time!
The mushroom burger was very good! The chili cheese fries were ok. The chili wasn't all that good to me. Maybe I'm just used to chili with lots more ingredients than just finely chopped meat. The smoked bologna sandwich was very good! The strawberry shake tasted like they used a strawberry sugar syrup because it was very sweet and wasn't a natural strawberry taste.
There is a great children's play area outside with a neat little slide. Overall I definitely eat here again, there are other items on the that I want to try.
It takes a while because it's fresh made burgers ready to go. Hot chilly cheeses fries were great. Pulled pork sandwich was great. Cheap price but so good. Chilli cheese hotdog was amazing.
By far my favorite burger in Nashville!! Hugh Baby's has the perfect smash party burger and everything else on their menu is also pretty solid. They never fail to disappoint, if you're looking for a good burger then this is your place to try!

Just a good burger fast, great got dogs, and the shakes are drinkable, not some overwrought shrine to calories too thick to go through a straw and covered in everything on the candy aisle. Good food fast for a reasonable price and no frippery.
Would've given 5 stars but the fries didn't seem fresh. Great double bacon cheeseburger. Fast and friendly service.
I consistently like Hugh Baby’s burgers! I have lots of allergies but have always had success with their lettuce wrapped burgers and fries. The service is also pretty good. There’s a fun counter to sit at too if you like the diner feel and watching them cook.
Awesome food, great customer service, clean and the outside eating area was nice the burgers are really flavorful good seasoning and their chili cheese were yummy too also went back to try the pulled pork sandwich and that was good too, they have in-house made lemonade which is always a huge plus for me. Can't wait to go back and try more stuff definitely recommend 😊
These are the best double cheeseburgers and hot dogs I have ever eaten. The service is very fast and our order was as we ordered it. The chili is amazing and is delicious. I woukd recommend this place to anyone in the area that is looking for comfort food.
Great shakes and burgers. Very impressed. Similar to PTerry's in Austin but better.
Cool for a quick meal. I love the fresh lemonade with "sonic" ice lol!!! I've returned a few times and I believe although very fresh and well prepared, the food is a tad salty. I also prefer my fries a bit more crispy. The burgers are actually ground steak (hence the price) and made to your liking. The customer service is unmatched! Everytime I come I'm greeted sincerely by multiple employees and someone is constantly cleaning a table, moving chairs, etc. Parking during peak hours can be disastrous so be prepared.

I was looking for a quick stop during my work break today and was actually on my way to Hattie B’s but I saw their line and noticed they didn’t have a drive thru either. So I saw Hugh’s-Baby’s just down the road, never heard of it and boy it did not disappoint. Originally I was going to go through drive thru however it was backed all the way out in the road due to it being lunch time so I just decided to order inside because it was going to be faster. The burger 🍔 was just right and the cheese was melted and the toppings all went well together. I also got fries (not pictured) the gal that was working was so sweet she handed me my burger and said she didn’t want it to get cold while I was waiting for my fries to come out. Then another gal was sweeping and saw I dropped part of my hamburger bun and offered to get me a new one and I told her it wasn’t necessary but everyone was so kind and the food was great. The atmosphere was amazing I just wanted to yell happy a great day to everyone. The staff seemed to work well together! Definitely will come back and try their chicken sandwich and shake next!
About as good as it gets for burgers and fries. Great spot. I always come here when I’m in town. Chicken sandwich is really good too
