Dinner here after a Google search from our room at The Noelle, and we didn't want bar food or eating on Broadway. Found this hidden gem, part of the Fairlane Hotel, I believe. Short walk from our hotel. Sat outside. A bit chilly night, but a lovely dinner. Our server (Matt?) was affable and attentive. Place was empty so we thought we screwed up, but we were told people just fine know about them tucked away like they are and they typically are busy after nearby theater shows let out. Our dinner was very good. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Chef Chris truly exceeded our expectations with the extraordinary dining experience my girlfriend and I had at Ellingtons last weekend. Our journey commenced with the smoked trout rillette and the potato croquettes, two appetizers that undoubtedly left us wanting more. The symphony of flavors in both dishes was nothing short of delightful. Moving on to the main course, we opted for the smoked chicken & gnocchi and the bone-in pork chop, and it turned out to be an impeccable choice. Contrary to our assumptions of having leftovers, we were irresistibly drawn to finish every last bit of food on our plates. The bone-in pork chop, prepared in a manner that elevated its status, was an unexpected delight. The spiced bourbon gastrique not only imparted a beautiful tangy note but also complemented the smoky flavors, rendering the pork chop irresistible. The chicken & gnocchi, however, emerged as the highlight of the evening, reigning supreme as the best chicken dish we've had in Nashville. The gnocchi, that sat in a delectable sauce, elevated the entire ensemble to a whole other level. In fact, the gnocchi itself could stand alone as a remarkable offering. Meanwhile, the chicken, with every succulent bite, showcased an abundance of well-balanced flavors without a hint of dryness. Overall, Ellingtons is a culinary gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. Chef Chris's ingenuity shines through every meticulously crafted dish. Don't hesitate to visit.. it's a culinary journey that promises not to disappoint 💎

My fiancé and I stumbled upon this hidden gem and had the best meal we’ve ever had! The lamb was cooked perfectly and his petit filet melted in our mouths. Service was great and so were the drinks. 10/10 recommend!!!

Ellingtons just became a ‘go to’ when we go downtown for a concert at the Ryman. (3-4 blocks away) LOVE LOVE LOVE the 70’s retro coolness of the decor and the low key vibe. The music was relaxing playing at a level we could enjoy our conversation instead yelling across the table like sooooo many restaurants have now days. The lobster ravioli was yummy, the pork chop was a double yum yum. I have found with many restaurants who serve pork chops, tender and flavorful combined is a challenge. Not here! As you can see from the photo the chop was a nice thick cut, really enjoyed the bourbon rub on it too! The desert was light with a lavender and blueberry topping and the little blue lemonade drink on the side (yum) we gave them bonus points for serving something unique and different. The service was exceptional (thank you Scott) and very attentive! Just an overall good experience. Not an ETCH but not a 3 star either. FYI on Sunday’s bottles of wine are 50% off!

We randomly stopped at Ellington’s for our anniversary dinner because the building looked pretty and the menu sounded good. I’m so glad we stopped here because everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel and the restaurant are both beautiful and upscale. The food was amazing and the dessert was really good too. My husband and I both loved our meals. The service was excellent and our waiter Christopher was really friendly and made great recommendations. I absolutely loved the whole vibe of this restaurant and I would 1000% come back again. Ellington’s was a really great choice for celebrating our anniversary!

We came for steak and Ellington's did not disappoint. We enjoyed a beautiful steak and some amazing drinks. The restaurant was quiet, and provide a great break from the Nashville bustle to relax and chat with friends. Would highly recommend.

One of the best experiences I’ve had fine dining in Nashville. We had amazing service from both our server Christopher (Cruz) and the chef Christopher. Their Smoked Chicken Gnocchi and Porchetta were two of the best dishes I’ve ever had. 10000/10

A truly great experience. This is my newest favorite in the Printer's Alley area. We sat at the bar. The cauliflower appetizer was a great shareable starter. Scallops cooked to perfection. Salmon was at least equally good, with a nice, crisp exterior, and a tender medium rare to medium center. We ended with the banana pudding, which was delicious and plenty for 2 people to share. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Food was great!!! The service was lacking because the progress of the evening from app, salad to entrees were SLOW I would have had more drinks if the waiter would come around, coffee with Irish cream would have been great with dessert but didn't come until later. All in all food was great, service was lacking for a $200 + evening.

We had an amazing dinner! Our server Myka was so sweet and kind, as was everyone who helped us out tonight. She also had the cutest nails! We both enjoyed our drinks, meals and dessert! A bit pricier, but I think it’s totally worth it! Classy and sophisticated. We’ll definitely be back!

Have enjoyed the bar several times. Usually low-key and friendly. Outdoor terrace space is a really nice spot to meet friends or just relax. Bar staff have almost always been attentive and friendly, even when slammed with drink orders.

Stopped here for a drink prior to a show at the Ryman. Great selection of quality bourbon and lots of signature drinks too. Plenty of windows to take in the surroundings while being served by helpful but not pushy staff.
