This place is always epic good. Burgers are perfectly cooked, freshest bun, and the cheese all melty with edges. Chili cheese tots and hush puppies are a MUST. And if you haven’t been lately, they have a full bar now.

The food is ALWAYS GREAT…. The service is ALWAYS FANTASTIC….. even if you get take out they are ALWAYS PHENOMENAL .. The chili / hush puppies made them famous and it will keep them famous. There are a lot of great options on the menu and you won’t regret any of them. TIP YOUR BARTENDER BECAUSE HE IS “THE MAN”….

I give it a 4.2. There is not a lot of variety on food. The waitress shyd me away from the patty melt. It sounds good from the menu, though.

Dropped in from out of town for a quick late lunch. We had the cheeseburger and grilled cheese and bacon, which were delicious. And, although we ordered Lay's chips (which were in extra large bags!), the server also gave us a plate of tots. Nice atmosphere and good service. The server mentioned they'll be expanding the menu. We will have to come back the next time we're out this way.

Good for the price . The food was awesome! Just don't buy a beer. The price is outrageous.! The server was great. The band was great. Just be careful buying beer at 9 a piece. The draft cost me 7 and it was like 8 ounces of. glass. Only drawback.. Great place.

The cheeseburgers and fries are terrific, and the tater tots were fun too. The hush puppies are huge and tasty. We ate outside and our server was really great, kept all of our glasses filled and got our orders exactly right. It's a super place for a good lunch. Not fancy, just homey and delicious. Kid friendly too!

Yes I know it's a trailer. Yes I know the kitchen used to be an old street car. Yes I know this close to Hillsboro village you have a plethora of overhyped and overpriced restaurants which may seem better. All of them pale in comparison to Brown's. Brown's has an atmosphere that is tough to match nowadays in Nashville. With a Santa's Pub, a Batter's Box, and a Bobby's Idle Hour Tavern vibe, Brown's drives home the idea of what 15 years ago Nashville looked like. Most nights feature live music, the pitchers are some of the cheapest you will find in Nashville, and there is a recently expanded menu which does everything it serves well. As far as the restaurant itself the patio outside is awesome and they will give you the remote to watch whatever your heart desires. If you want to sit inside there is a dining room in the back as well as a good bit of bar seating. All of these areas are complimented by almost constant live music. The menu is pretty standard for what you would get at a typical southern restaurant but everything on it is excellent, especially the burger. If nothing else sells you the beer pitchers are dirt cheap, so at the very least start your night out at Brown's.

The burger was basic but still pretty good. The fries were crisp, and the frito chili pie was my favorite of what I had. It's a cool little spot to get a burger and beer.

Old school Nashville at its best. It's an institution. Our only hope is it doesn't lose its soul like the rest of the city did to survive. They now have a large back patio and alcohol. Aust of you are a local and a tourist. I just wish they gave local discounts.

Really cool place, the food was all delicious and our waitress (I believe her name was Sabrina) was funny and charming... we really loved the fried pickles, best we've ever had!!

Nashville locals’ favorite watering hole. Fabulous, justifiably famous cheeseburgers! Thanks to GM Reno and the owner finally making the Diner accessible to my power wheelchair by building a Very nice porch and ramps!

Great local spot with live music! We walked over from an Airbnb for lunch - burgers, tots, fries, hush puppies - all really good and hit/fresh from kitchen (which is a truck beside the patio/alley). Our server nailed it. He was super low key and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a solo singer/guitarist playing in the (very) small bar area at lunch. There’s a family room area and a large, seemingly new, porch/deck area, too. The place has been around since the 1920s for good reason!

Brown’s is one of a handful of original Nashville venues still alive and kicking. The best singer-songwriters and musicians play here, including Davis Raines, Pamela Jackson and David Conrad with special guest Russell Thompson when I went Sunday afternoon. Come hungry, the burgers are a must have! Chili cheeseburger is my fav. Dog friendly on the outdoor deck.

Absolutely 💯 fantastic cheeseburgers. Definitely try that for sure. You will not be disappointed. The only thing is that free parking is very limited and fills up fast...otherwise it was $12 to park in the lot next to the building.

Really great burger in an unassuming spot. Classic local grill feel. Ordered a cheeseburger, fries, tea. All was great but set me back about $13 before tip. Not a crazy price but higher than expected. No other complaints though. Will be back!

We went here to have burgers. I specifically went because I do not eat beef, and they have turkey burgers. It was by far one of the best turkey burgers I have ever had. I highly suggest if you are not a beefeater going there. They have a great outdoor patio, and the service was excellent.
