Salsa was excellent! Had double steak fajita which was big enough for three people and delicious. Service was friendly and quick also. Highly recommend. : )

Don't be afraid, try it!. Los Tres Amigos is my Mexican restaurant of choice in Nashville (and yes, I've been to Rosepepper several times). It's close to my house, the food is consistent, the staff is friendly, portion sizes are good, and it's reasonably priced. I gave them a 4 star only because the physical restaurant could stand some 'sprucing up' - don't be afraid to try this place by the way it looks on the outside ;)
I love the Enchiladas de Suiza - by far the best green sauce I've ever had! Fresh tomatillos, onions, and a lot of cilantro = really flavorful, yet not overpowering, sauce. If you are a meat eater, the Burrito Carne Asada is a great option - the steak is flavorful, tender, and not greasy. If you are not feeling adventurous, the Fajitas are always good and the meat is not questionable like it can be at other Mexican restaurants.
I feel like I have tried nearly every Mex restaurant in the Nashville area (including Antioch where there is a large Mexican population) searching for authentic Mexican food (think delicious Mole and Verde sauces, tacos with flavorful meat, lime, cilantro, onions on hand-made tortillas, fresh Pico de Gallo, etc.) and I think they just don't exist here. I assume it's due to the palates of southerners dictating the offerings but it seems like the food at nearly every Mex restaurant in the Nashville area tastes exactly the same.
Los Tres Amigos advertises 'authentic Mexican food' and for the Nashville market, they deliver!

The chicken flautas are the best I've had. Their rice is also above average. Pay no attention to the Asian exterior, this place is the real deal.

Super nice folks work here, the food is great, and their margaritas do the trick. And if you are lucky, they will serve you a tomato with a heart. :)
Awesome food! Awesome salsa! Strong drinks! Only problem is you can go 5 times and order the same thing and it will be a different price every time. This place was so good we didn't even care!
My family stopped here on the way to Gatlinburg and what a great experience!! The staff was so friendly, food came out hot+fast+delicious, and the whole restaurant (including bathroom) was incredibly clean! I wish it was closer to home so it could be our new regular place!
Incredible food! Fast and friendly service. I usually get the chicken chimi, so delicious! Last time I ordered a chicken nachos and it was probably the best nachos I have ever had. And I love a nacho! They have a patio area but I believe it is uncovered. It is on a busy street so it may take you a moment to get out. I worked down the street and often went in for lunch or with coworkers. They food is always consistent. They have Tv's and I know there are drink specials at times.
Our waiter was so awesomely sweet!!! Mexican food has a way of veing so dogone good 😊!!! I'm a vegetarian and I was able to have my pick of dishes. Their fish tacos my friend had was also delicious according to her. I would definitely recommend it to you!!!
Love this place! Staff always remembers us and greet us! Food is good and the margaritas are fantastic! My boyfriend and I go here a few times every month!
This place is way better on the inside than the image you get from the outside! The food is great! I've ordered a few different things and everything has tasted awesome! Don't shy away by the look of the outside.
Los Tres Amigos is amazing, it's one of the hidden gems of Donelson. They serve happy hour literally every day, the prices are unbeatable, and the food is delicious. If you come often, the staff treats you like family, and they always make the dining experience great.
I have several favorite meals from this restaurant and if I had to choose only one restaurant in Donelson, this would be the place.
It was my first time there. The staff was really nice, the food so good, I ordered twice to take some home & yes, I recommend checking this lil' gem out if you haven't already.

Wonderful as always.The server was on top of everything and the fajitas and wraps were so hot when we got them we could hardly touch them.Never ever had a bad experience at this restaurant. The food is amazing.
This is a really cute restaurant. Very friendly staff. Excellent food. The restroom was clean which is a major bonus if you ask me! Reasonable prices too.
