Wonderful!!!!!!. Anne perhaps is the sweetest part of the whole business, but her muffins are the best i have ever had!!!!!!!!! I have been eating them for years and I never get tired of them. She makes a huge variety and I have never bitten into a muffin I didn't like!! I have worked at a local store that sells her muffins, and people go nuts if we run out. We have lots of regular customers that come daily for her goodness!!! I have never had a cake, but have heard they are as good as the muffins. The company serves gourmet desserts and I know from experience she runs her business with the utmost integrity. Try some!!!
We needed a coconut cake pretty last minute and I stumbled upon Anne’s Cakes on google! Took our chances and we hit the jackpot!! The coconut cake was absolutely incredible. One of our favorite cakes EVER. We will be back for SUREE!!! The muffins looked amazing so I can’t wait to try those next! I ordered 3 cakes for the celebration of my mom’s 80th birthday party thinking it would be more than enough. Well to say the cakes were a hit is an understatement. All of them were delicious and were devoured. Everything about my transaction with Anne’s Cakes was fantastic. I highly recommend this bakery. We had the Strawberry, Caramel and Chocolate. I thought no way are all the reviews true. Well they are and more! I got a German Chocolate Cake last week for my Sister’s Birthday. Anne was super nice when I ordered and just as nice if not more so when I picked up. She treated me as nice as if I had ordered a hundred cakes! My family and I all agree that not only was it the best German Chocolate Cake we ever had but it was the best cake we ever have had!! Thank you so much Anne

Anne is truly the most gifted baker. I have lived in many cities and have never found a cake so good. My personal favorite is the strawberry cake. It will literally melt in your mouth. Anne did my wedding cakes and people to this day still talk about our cakes.
After trying and loving the strawberry cake, we ordered five for our wedding in August. Won’t order cakes from anywhere else, this place is really a hidden gem. Our guests all raved about the cake and we had multiple people tell us it was the best they’ve had. As an added plus every time I went in I was offered a fresh muffin, and they are equally amazing.
I purchased Annie's Strawberry Cake for my daughters birthday on March 26, 2019. It is by far the best cake I have ever had. Moist, lite, flavor is outstanding the cake is wonderful words can't describe how wonderful this cake is. The Italian Crème cake is the best I have ever eaten. Your mouth will burst out singing the Hallelujah Chorus.

This place makes the BEST pumpkin chip muffins I have ever had the pleasure of eating. These muffins have been a staple of my diet since coming to Nashville back in '12. They have the perfect balance of pumpkin flavor and chocolate chips, and are extremely moist, even days later. Even though they make a "skinny" version, don't let that dissuade you from trying that one! It is just as good as the regular, and honestly, if you have the opportunity to grab even one of these pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, buy as many as you can physically carry or as many as you can financially purchase. These will change your life for the better.
The not so short almond shortbread muffin was so amazing! Can't wait to try some other flavors.
My daughter-in-law got me the coconut cake for my Birthday..It was the best cake I ever had!!! And she got me the lemon muffins.. Outstanding!!! We were a company of 12 and they all loved the cake!
The muffins from Anne's are the best I have ever had, period! The big blueberry crunch and lemon berry crunch are especially delicious, but you can't go wrong with any of them (lemon poppyseed, pumpkin, punpkin chocolate chips, etc.). They muffins are soft and thick and just burst with flavor and sweetness! I 100% recommend these muffins for breakfast, dessert, or as a snack. Enjoy!
I called ahead to reserve a coconut cake, which worked out perfectly. She was incredibly nice and helpful both on the phone and in person and the cake was even better than the service. This was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten in my entire life. Highly recommend!
I went to the Trousdale location to buy cake slices. Thinking it was her storefront. It is not. It is where she makes the cakes and sells them to local restaurants. Mainly or maybe just in Green Hills. You can place an order with her for a whole cake for $40. She does cakes for The Picnic in Green Hills and Cole’s Restaurant. The slices are $4.99 at The Picnic. Not bad. I got the coconut and strawberry. I wasn’t impressed. It was not bad, just not real good. The strawberry cake is just a strawberry flavored cake. Like maybe she took white cake and added strawberry flavoring. Cole’s Restaurant sells their slices for $7 or 7.50, maybe they are bigger slices. I don’t know. These are not layer cakes. It’s just a large pan cake. For the best coconut cake I highly recommend Mccabe’s Pub. You can buy slices or a whole cake for about $40.
Anne's Cakes is one of the finest bakeries I have ever dealt with!!! I live in North Carolina and I had a situation where I needed a special cake delivered to a special young student at Vanderbilt University . Anne not only baked a fabulous 21st birthday cake for this young man-- she PERSONALLY delivered it -- out of the kindness of her heart as it was again a special need for a special young man.
