Great pizza and, in my opinion, the best craft beer in the Louisville area. We’ve always received good and knowledgeable service. These folks know their beer! Well worth the short trip across the Sherman Minton.

Love, love, love New Albanian pizza. The roundhouse pizza is incredible with burned cheese down the sides of the crust. Delicious. Beer is awesome too!
Wasn't sure what to make of this place at first. One side is called Publick House and had to wait an hour. The place was crowded and could benefit from an easier flow. We were seated in the pizzeria area, which also has a large area separated for brewing and beer cave. Roundhouse pizza is good with high crispy cheese edges; spaghetti and meatballs were okay but had a sweet taste; chili okay; buffalo chicken pizza had celery on it and Franks hot sauce; but the best thing was the homemade soft breadsticks that have salt on the outside that we dipped in another app called spinach kase, a kind of queso dip that I have been thinking about ever since! Service great. Prices great, we had 2 apps, one pizza one entree, one beer and 2 sodas for $37.
This place is awesome. The food is fresh and the service is fast and friendly! Seems like a great neighborhood spot with interesting beers on tap (both house and guest pours)... It was the perfect place to stop for a meal after a long day of traveling.
Love this place! The breadsticks and beer cheese are fantastic! The service is usually slow but the food is always good. You can also get beer cheese to go... :)
I had my first craft brew here decades ago and have never stopped enjoying this place. Sometimes the wait can be long for food, but it's generally worth it. This is my go to place for pizza and good beer. The servers know their product.
If your looking for a great place to get pizza and a craft beer then this should be your only stop. We have been going here for close to 20 years and it is always a go to spot.

Started with a beer flight picked by waitress based on my normal drinking habits. Then had a really tasty meal. Service was nice, parking on the street. Get there early it gets busy. Nice place to sit with friends over a great selection of beers and grab a bite.
Call ahead. This place gets busy. Great pizza, beer and beer cheese.
Good pizza. The breadsticks were good, too, but really not much different than Papa John's. The wife liked the baked spaghetti with meatballs, saying they were some of the best she's had. The crowds here are a drawback, making this place very busy on weekends.
If you like beer you will love this place... plus the beer cheese is off the hook.. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.. Amazing beer cheese.. YUMMY
You're among friends. Both locations for the New Albanian are great but I gravitate to the Grant Line Rd. location regularly. Kevin, Corey, and the rest of the guys are awesome. If you are looking to try some amazing ale or wine, these are the guys to ask.
The food is always good and the bread sticks are the BEST in the area.
Desserts are fantastic!. I stopped by for dessert and they were fabulous! All home-made and exquisite! It's a treat to find a brewery with great food as well.
Pizza...Beer. This place has great pizza and beer, what makes for a better meal. The pretzels and beer cheese are also an awesome appetizer.

I love the pizza. Best in town. But I've never had good or fast service, even on a "slow" day.
I've been going here for about 7 years now & I've never been a big fan of the thin crust. BUT THE THICK CRUST is another story! Its like 5 in. thick with homade sauce, fresh monzerrella, & a big dollop of what ever toppings you want! If you go to NA Pizzeria you must get the thick crust!!!

Great Beer. Finally a reason for me to drop by the New Albany area other than a quick snack before heading to the Georgetown Drive-In. Loved the great selection of brews and the very good thin-crust pies.
My wife and I love this place. The pizza and all the craft beer is Amazing. Servers are very friendly and they now their beer. If your looking for a beer made by Bud or miller coors there's an Applebees down the road.

Recommended, and really if you drink good beer. OK, first I usually don't drink when I eat. Maybe a glass of wine. But I go out to eat to eat. But good Lord, I have NEVER seen a beer menu like this place. WOW. Beer drinkers heaven. If more restaurants had this selection I would change my usual rule on drinking and eating. And the pizza is VERY good; the sauce so full of bursting good tomato flavor, great crust, just VERY good, the way a pizza should be. The bread-sticks are VERY good. The beer is HEAVENLY. The good doctor Hunter Thompson said, "Good people drink good beer." Well, yes they do. And they like damn good pizza too. Why in the world someone would order the delivery places when this is in town...it is beyond me. Highly recommend.
Some of the best pizza I have ever had. the breadsticks with beer cheese is amazing. The beer list is one of the largest I have seen, with choices from all over the world. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The place is usually packed so service can be slow at times, so don't be in a hurry if you plan to visit.
Terrific Pizza & Beer. I love frequenting Sportstime (& Richos!!) when I visit New Albany. The pizza is always phenomenal...and the beer cheese with breadsticks is delicious. And, of course, you can't go wrong with any of the beer on that enormous menu. I've never been to a place with such a large selection of beer. The staff & owner have always been friendly to us...especially when it comes to choosing what type of drink you want to try. It's also great being able to see them making the beer in the other room. Great place!!!
This place is awesome, great food, beer, and service. Just don't expect to get everything and eat in 20 minutes, good things take time.
Upside down with pesto is excellent! Certainly one of the best beer lists in the region and they're seasonal festivals make this place a "World Class" beer establishment.
Good, but too smoky. When will NA wake up and do away with smoking in restaurants like L-ville and Jeff?
I enjoy the 'za at the New Albanian. Can't go wrong with the hand-tossed or the deep dish. But order it to go unless you want to feel like you're sitting in an ash tray. Which sucks, because they've got great beer.
Good Food - Crap Service. Okay, I love the food here which is why I tolerate the "whatever, whenever" mentality of the servers at this place. Great pizza, even better bread sticks and beer cheese. Beer goes without mentioning but really good too
Awesome. Not your ordinary establishment. Great food and even greater beer! Yes the service may be slow at times, but thats because it is crazy busy! You want fast food, go to Mcdonalds. You want servers that will kiss your butt, go to Applebees. You want to hang out w/ your friends and family & enjoy great food & beer, go to Sportstime!!!

Best Pizza in Town. It's good to finally find a place with REAL pizza. I moved from the northeast and was beginning to worry I'd never find a pizza that wasn't taken out of a box and reheated. I've been countless times and don't have one bad thing to say. The bread sticks are to die for too and the beer list makes it a good idea to have someone drive you there and home. Just a great time all around, but make sure you're ready to handle the smoke if you can't get a seat in the smoke free side.
New Albanian is one of my favorite small breweries that I’ve been to. I loved the lounge area with a ton of couches and comfortable chairs, even despite the fact that it was incredibly smoky. Luckily, they also have a large, more family-oriented space that seemed to be smoke-free. New Albanian is really more of a beer bar than a brewpub. They have a ton of bottles to choose from. They do still have a few of their own selections, however, and they tend to be pretty solid options. Also, the pizza is awesome.
