I have always loved Newk’s back home in the Houston area, so I wanted to come here on the way to the San Marcos outlets. The food was just as great as usual. We had the Newk’s Q sandwich and the Italian with the potato soup. They were all flavorful and very filling! Can’t wait to go back again soon.
Flavorful, moderately priced non-fast food, fast food. Broad selection of pizzas, sandwiches, soups & salads. Spicy shrimp pizza includes shrimp, roasted red & yellow peppers, cheese, red pepper flakes & cilantro - without the cilantro it’s my go-to choice. Light, crispy crust - perfect. Soups rotate daily - Sunday means a really good crab & lobster bisque. Similar to MacAllisters, they do have a pick 2 option. Beverages are about $3 - I know it’s high, but where many restaurants pad the bottom line. One critique - each time I go I see someone get a water cup & then serve themselves tea or soda. The manager has never said anything - even when serving the table their food. Pay for what you consume & charge us all or don’t charge any of us.
Nice , healthy options. Pizzas are great. So are the soups and salads. Love this place!
Place is pretty clean. I love the food. The staff is always friendly. I can definitely tell the food was made fresh without having to wait so long.
