I almost always get one of specialty pizzas. The toppings are inventive and fresh. I've had anything from potatoes to cherries to habanero infused olive oil on my pizzas and it's all been amazing!
Yum!!!! Would definitely come here again! We got dinner for 2 and split between the three of us. Girls day out!! Best pizza!! Great entree. Service EXCELLENT!!
Passed by en route to eastern Michigan and came across this place. It was slow being chilly weather and mid-afternoon, we sat in the atrium bar and ate off the dinner menu. The service, food and atmosphere is AMAZING!! The butternut squash and apple soup was the best soup I have ever had and the pizza is perfect and reminded me of my time spent in Italy. If you are anywhere near New Buffalo, GO HERE!!!!!
Wonderful, intimate atmosphere. I love the outside dining in the summer. One of my favorite places to eat for over 10 years!
I'm a big fan of becoming a regular at a restaurant -- everything seems to get better. So, we have come to really enjoy this place-- very good selection of beer, including Third Coast which of hard to find, fresh pizza with crisp crust, hearty salads (great for sharing) and attentive service even at busy times Sit in the enclosed porch by the fire in winter or outside during the warm months.
Great place!. After seeing the reviews, and since this was "on the way" to the Dunes, took party of 8 here yesterday for lunch. Altho' didn't have reservations, we were seated w/in 10 minutes, and promptly visited by the waiter - who patiently and helpfully answered our questions and took orders. Everything [crab cake appetizer, one of the top 5 I've ever had; pizzas (3 different styles); etc.] was excellent. Interesting and cool decor, nice place, very good food - well worth the extra bit of a drive.
Italian at Its Best. Great food! Everything is fresh and homemade. House dressing is to die for and the couple meal is a deal! Two salads, one pasta entree, one specialty pizza plus two homemade cookies and coffee for around $30...wow! Love, love, love this place!
Befriend Brewster's. You can't go wrong with Brewster's in New Buffalo. Just a short drive from the Four Wind's Casino. I have been back many times. I have yet to have a bad experience. Wonderful main courses, excellent thin crust pizza and an overall enjoyable dining experience. Beautiful decor and an outdoor patio in the summer highlights the ambiance of the restaurant.
Go-To for Italian. Been going to Brewster's for over 10 years of consistently good meals. If you're a fan, don't skip their spinach and artichoke dip - it's the best I've ever had. The thin-crust pizzas are fantastic and they offer an array of great toppings. My favorite deal is the dinner for two, which is about $30 and includes a salad for each, a pizza to split, an entree to split, and coffee and cookies at the end of the meal. It's a truly great deal. The menu changes daily and both lunch and dinner are wonderful.
Absolute best thin crust pizza! If you like pizza Brewster's is a must. Good beer list, pasta a little pricey - device mediocre at best, probably due to the 18% add on gratuity for party of 5 or more. Overall good place to eat.
What's really unique about this resturant is that their menu changes EVERY DAY. So what you get might not be there the next time you go back
Stopped here on our way home from Northern Michigan. There was a short wait for a table on a bust Saturday night. My husband ordered a spicy pizza, and I had shrimp Alfredo. We also had the ricotta and honeycomb on crostini and the brownie carmel tiramisu for dessert. Everything was good. The dessert was enough for 3. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I also have to hand it to the hostess on keeping calm and respectful when dealing with some 'entitled ' customers. We'll visit again.
We went for dinner- had the sausage and peppers, house salad and a Detroit pizza. For dessert the hummingbird cake and peanut butter pie.
Sausage and peppers were excellent. House salad for $5 was good because they used quality lettuce and the house dressing was very tasty- like a sweetish vinaigrette. The Detroit style pizza was nice- authentic cheese, good sauce and crust. The desserts, literally the best part of the meal. Not sure where they source those but they were excellent. Loved the food.
I agree the 3 percent credit card fee is annoying- I don’t blame them per se but maybe they should rebrand it as ‘5 percent discount for cash.’ They would still come out ahead because nobody pays cash anyway. The kitchen tip- which is not expected per the menu- is just bad business. Pay your kitchen staff a living wage. You can’t expect the customer to tip the server, pay the card fee, pay extra for more bread AND tip the kitchen staff. Maybe the owner is just a nice guy that wants to get more for his staff. But it looks bad.
But I would go back for the food. It’s worth it. Service was great as well.
Amazing Italian restaurant with an intimate patio. Reservations are a must. Their menu changes with the seasons. Their Detroit style pizza is amazing. Great service and amazing ambiance.
Wow, I’ve been coming to New Buffalo for a long time and always overlooked this place. Never again! Enjoyed the Dinner for two. My boyfriend was enamored by the soup of the day (shrimp gumbo). The tiki masala was great and I’ll be dreaming of the cookie & coffee for dessert. Make sure to make a reservation! My only regret is not ordering an espresso martini because it looked amazing. 4 stars because the pizza was good but not AMAZING and I wish the bread basket was warm. Everything else was great! Will be returning.
Another AMAZINGLY staffed New Buffalo restaurant. They did a great job working with my allergies. Had the build your own pizza, with a perfectly cooked crust, my bride had the pasta and meatballs, and we had the Creme Brulee for our dessert. A must eat location!
This is a top 3 dining experience in the New Buffalo area. The atmosphere is really wonderful, especially outside in the garden-like atmosphere. Food takes like it's scratch-made and top quality. You won't be disappointed.
Had lunch here and it was the best experience and food I’ve had here in New Buffalo! Our waitress was the sweetest and super attentive! Lunch prices were great and portion sizes were perfect; we had the complimentary bread basket, house salad then shared a pizza (and had left overs!)The house vinaigrette was 100/10, lavender lemonade 1000/10 and sourdough pizza TO DIE FOR!
Enchanting Italian dinner on our last night in New Buffalo. Food was amazing - husband got pizza and I got sausage and shrimp pasta. The patio / ambiance is unmatched. And a memorable service experience that overindulged us on extra cheese ☺️
Fantastic service, delicious food, lovely outdoor patio with enough distance to feel comfortable.
We got the special dinner for two. Great value but more than we could eat. Picked a salad, shared a flat bread pizza appetizer, shared the fantastic meatballs (4) and spaghetti, finally a choice of cookies and coffee. We got our dessert to go with iced coffee since it was a warm evening and we definitely needed to walk.
Brenna was our server with a new person shadowing her. I forgot her name but she helped make our 45 anniversary dinner enjoyable.
Great atmosphere, wonderful food & good service. We loved the variety of pizzas.
I absolutely love Brewster's. The atmosphere is so sweet, inside and out. This past time we went for lunch. We all tried something new; spinach and artichoke dip (the Flatbread is amazing !!!), Cobb salad, chicken Alfredo and meatballs. For dessert we tried the lemon cream cake and carrot cake....do not sleep on this carrot cake people. It's heavenly. I can't wait to go back again.
What a wonderful place! My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and we could not be happier about our decision. The wait staff were warm and welcoming, the seating area (a cozy sealed patio area) was charming, and the food, oh my goodness, the food!
I had the breakfast BLT, which came with a side of deliciously herby roasted potatoes, and it may we'll be one of the tastiest sandwiches I have ever eaten. The bread - a toasted focaccia roll - paired amazingly well with the bacon and over easy egg, providing a perfect sponge to soak up the flavors. My wife got the mascarpone french toast which was opulent overindulgence at its finest. Two Cinnamon muffins came with the breakfast - dipping them in the mascarpone and berry sauce mix made them even better.
Overall an amazing dining experience and although we hadn't originally planned on it, we will be coming here the following day to try more of their menu!
Visiting from Charleston, SC and was in MI from a friends wedding… so glad we found this place and tried it. Half of our group was about to miss brunch but the waitress was SO nice and offered to take orders then before they switched the menu. I was blown away by the service. We ended up waiting and getting food off the regular menu and I’m so glad we did! It was PHENOMENAL. Everyone in our group ordered different things and you cannot go wrong. I was so excited to get pizza while in the Midwest. This restaurant ambiance was super great too. Loved the vintage feel with Italian vibes. Overall, an amazing experience.
This is one of our new favorite places to go. We had dinner here on Friday, September 1st, and it was so fantastic that we had dinner again on Sunday, September 3rd, before we had to drive back home.
Great atmosphere.
Great food.
Great service.
What more can you ask for!
We look forward to our next visit!
This was a fantastic meal! I made reservations, highly recommend the terrace. It is cozy and nice. I love spinach dip and their hot spinach dip appetizer is one of the best I’ve ever had. All of our food was fantastic. So good I didn’t even take pictures. Kids meals are priced well. Wonderful service as well. We come to New Buffalo every summer and will visit here every year now!
Fabulous restaurant, great service and food. Caroline was our server and she was excellent as well as the Manager Amanda. Very personable and made our experience here one we will remember! Me and my sister came up for a weekend getaway. We had the dinner for 2 - the sourdough pizza was excellent and the meatballs were delicious! Will definitely come back!

The dining experience was exceptional, featuring a delightful white pizza and a stellar salad that truly impressed. Our visit even included a thrilling encounter with some ghostly activity near the bar. We'll definitely be returning soon to this remarkable restaurant.
We dined here on a Friday evening, so given the crowd our service could have been affected by a staff that was busy. We were hesitant about dining outside as cooler evenings are with us but the outdoor heaters and much quieter and intimate space was very enjoyable.
Our server was pleasant and helpful to the ladies attempting to decide on what they wanted. When our friends drink was low she also quickly refilled it. The only challenge came after our meal arrived as we never saw our server again until the check was presented, I would have appreciated a refill with my meal, but again the staff was noticeably busy.
While our party was only for 5 the tip, as with all of their orders, was automatically added to our bill at 20%. When my service is spectacular, or the meal especially well prepared, a larger tip would be common but this automatic gratuity is inappropriate for an evening where each person spent over $50 for the dinner, I am an adult and quite capable of making decisions about how to recognize those who provide a service. For this reason alone, I will dine at one of the many other options available.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere and amazing food. Particularly the detroit style pizza, the triple crown, phenomenal!!! Must must try
