Hogback Pizza is delicious! We are visiting from California, so we have gone there as many times as possible before we leave.
The owner is super personable. It is a great story of how when he was a young man, he bought a pizza oven, and went for it by starting his own business. He is definitely living the American dream & appreciative of every moment!
If you havent been yet, you need to go to Hogback! We will be back!
I really love this pizza. Thinner crust - quality toppings - always ready when I walk in to pick it up. I wish they delivered but I'm happy to drive for quality.

The pizza here is great and cooked to perfection! I loved that there were choices for indoor or outdoor seating. They had a nice selection of beers to choose from as well. Great place to stop after a hike, trail run, or mountain bike ride on the many trails that New Castle has to offer! Support local business and immerse yourself in this town's community if you're visiting or passing by!

We used to eat there when we lived in that area over 15 years ago. Ate there last night and the calzone and pizza were just as delicious as we remembered from all those years ago. Great service too!

This place was bomb and was the best place for our first night of vaca! We had a calzone and a large pep along with the hog knuckles! Lastly the staff was awesome and super nice/accommodating!

The Pizza is great. Their style reminds me of Beau Jo's.
The cheesy breadsticks are also popular. I would compare them to Pizza Huts, except you can tell Hogback's ingredients are really fresh.
my only issue is that the tables are wobbly and we spilled our drinks several times when another table's dog kept bumping into our table.
One time our whole pizza almost fell off. It's was a weird situation because the staff (understandably) didn't want a scene and the other party was just trying to ignore the situation.
I love dogs, but for crying out loud, please keep an eye on your pet.
Pretty frustrating.
This was a great find on our way back to California from Lincoln Nebraska. We loved the atmosphere, the staff was friendly, and the place is decorated really neat! We split the Italian sandwich and then we each had a slice of pizza. Both were off the hook good!! What a great little mountain town!

Excellent thin crust pizza. Always acknowledged and greeted with a smile and hello. Quick and friendly staff. Try the Twiggy with Italian sausage and fresh garlic. Traditional is always delicious. Restaurant is always clean and comfy. Chubbies? Spicy sausage wrapped with pizza dough. Served with marinara sauce.
Keep up the good work everyone. Your food is very good and consistent.
