La Molienda Cafe - New Haven - Photo album

Big portions, lots of taste and good service. The "chicha morada" Peruvian drink is awesome. Sweet non alcoholic drink. We did not have any appetizers, and I'm glad we did not order them. The plates were huge! An order of "Ceviche Mixto" (seafood salad) with either tostones or yucca had great taste.
I had a Groupon, how I tried this spot. Decor is blah, however service and food was good. I ordered a drink was bery weak, so i wont do that again. However food was delicious and portions was large.
Very nice restaurant and good portions… BUT the flavor could be better. I love lomo saltado, but this place just needed a tad bit more flavor. Overall, thank you for the good meal 👍🏻
Food is ok, not bad at all. I would go back if... location was convenient from major road and highway.
The best Peruvian food that I have tried with a lot of flavors, spices and smells. It’s simply delicious. Prices are great for the awesome portions! Service is good and fast. It’s a restaurant/bar so don’t expect anything fancy.
We just came back from La Molienda Cafe for our dinner. It is officially my favorite restaurant in New Haven now. The portion of the food is larger than any other restaurant I have been to in America. The food was delicious!! The people are super nice. The price is reasonable. I would give them 100
Hidden little gem in my city that I never knew about. Service was quick. The food was good and the price was reasonable. Large portions though. I had the Lomo Saltada and added chicken to it. DELICIOUS!!!!! I had to take some of it home to finish. I will be back.
The place can look at little less than upscale inside.... looks really can be deceiving because the food is delicious and ample per plate!! I will definitely go there again. Just goes to show. Never judge a book by its cover
