I live in NJ and every time I’m in the area I HAVE to stop and get me a couple Sicilians. Regular cheese slice is also very tasty!
Loved this spot! The service was amazing and food was to die for, highly recommend their vodka slices and grandma slice. Great dessert selections too!
Perhaps one of the TASTIEST Pizzas I have had in my entire life! I tried their Grandma’s and Deep Dish and both were Crème de la Crème! I you “like Pizza” you are guaranteed to LOVE UMBERTO’S of New York!
Umberto's was delightful! Met some awesome people Donildo and his staff are amazing will definitely come back! My favorite is the rich fettuccine Alfredo in a cheesey cream sauce and Potato gnocchi in a beautiful rich fresh tomato sauce!
Best pizza on LI. All three styles were fantastic, grandma, deep dish, and regular. Veal parm was great too.
Great space, has it's own parking lot next door. Super spacious Italian restaurant, with a more formal dining room for table service and a casual, pizzeria style dining room. Two separate entrances. Menu varies from individual pizzas (cannot order slices in the formal restaurant) to pasta plates and protein entrees. The casual dining is meant for just pizzeria style menu. The stuffed veal is huge and amazing. Large enough to share. Fried calamari and spinach artichoke dip was a delicious sharing appetizer.
Best pizza in Long Island is a given. They also have amazing dinners as well. Great place all around.

Umberto's is a great place to get together with friends or a date night. The food was good We had the Calamari Umberto style highly recommended but the one complaint is the non attentive staff. I could not get the attention of anyone never mind our waiter, in addition the cleaning staff doesn't care to ask if you are done eating or drinking they remove things without asking and rudely drop things on you and the floor and just keep going about their job..other than that I would revisit to give another chance 😉.
Stuffed pork chop with mozzarella fontana and prosciutto. It's a must get. Great food, great service. Highly recommend
I live upstate, but would go to this restaurant when visiting family. Special occasions, funerals ect.. the food and atmosphere as I remember were always amazing. Recently came back this weekend and had the Sicilian pizza. Absolutely amazing. The restaurant has been updated but still has the charm.
The Sicilian pizza was really good! We preferred just cheese by itself but pepperoni was also tasty. Very nice dining area and we were seated very quickly on a Sunday afternoon. The sauce on the pizza was probably the best part and we also enjoyed the bread that they brought out. Would recommend for a large group because of how quickly they were able to sit us and also how quick the food came out!
What can I say Absolutely AWESOME as usual. This Long Island staple is second to none. The food here is always best in class and the staff is more than accommodating. We LOVE Umbertos of NHP, and can’t wait to go back to our favorite restaurant.
I have been going to Umberto's for a while now (at least a decade and counting), and I always love going here. The food is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. A few years ago, I needed to go gluten-free, and I am grateful that I am still able to enjoy Umberto's regardless, for they have gluten-free (cauliflower) pizza crust and gluten-free pasta. This is some of the best Italian food you can get in the neighborhood, so I highly recommend!

Umberto's is my go to pizzeria for the last six years . They make an excellent veggie pie unlike any other chock full of vegetables.
This was my first time dining in the actual restaurant and not ordering pizza. My pasta primevera was delicious and the tirimasu was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back to try other fresh pastas and desserts.
