After two visits since 2019, Restaurant R'evolution remains one of the best New Orleans fine dining experiences to be had, or anywhere for that matter. Impeccable service, beautiful table settings, a varied and deep menu, plus exemplary cocktails and wines. Fresh ingredients immaculately prepared and plated with precision. We've enjoyed both chefs table and standard seating, and both were flawless. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.
R’evoltionary menu for the French Quarter. You should not had a beef with this amazing dining experience that brings a bayou perspective to the menu. Indulge yourself w delicious appetisers and sharable plates and then carve into some of finest
Selections of meats and seafood. Your palette will be quenched by the wine pairings or a good Scotch. The experience starts with your host greeting you with the most embracing attitude and
Walking you in. Luv that wood Bow tie it says it all about the service!
4.4 | very attentive service, nice modern yet southern atmosphere, and good food. They start you with some delicious bread and home made butter, including a Cajun one that I recommend trying. The pasta was very tasty and made in house. Rather extensive beverage menu. Price is high for the area but the food will not disappoint. Worth a stop!
I went in with high expectations based on previous reviews. It’s a nice place, food is good but didn’t blow my mind (and I know some places that did) I tried turtle soup for the first time and I liked it, the sea bass was well cooked and excellent. The cocktail was good but at $30 I expected much better. The crawfish also was a first for me and in fried form was good, like a fried calamari- if you didn’t have it before. The veal Ashland was good as well . One of our party wasn’t feeling well and we had to cut short. And this is where I have to mention that service was not that welcoming “I care about you” type. We didn’t have that feel that I want to stay longer….Never made it to desert. An ok experience but food is good in general in French Quarter so not sure if the high price is justified.
I made a reservation for my birthday with my mum and it was a wonderful experience! The service was top notch, professional, friendly and wonderful. The food was delicious, I had the quail from the menu and trying 3 versions of quail was absolutely worth the experience. The appetizers too were lovely, pictures attached! They acknowledged and celebrated my birthday and had a gift box with treats for us after as an appreciation for dining with them. Whole experience, 10/10!!!!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The restaurant is so beautiful, clean, and elegant. Everyone was extremely friendly from the gentleman at the door to the manager. I got the station cocktail and it was super tasty. For appetizers we of course had to do the blue crab beignets. They have bread/biscuits with 3 types of butter and the Cajun butter is super delicious. If I could buy a tub of that stuff I would. My husband and I both got the visiting fish for the entree which happened to be Chilean sea bass… my God!! It was beautifully prepared in this buttery sauce over artichoke, probably the best piece of fish I’ve ever eaten in my life (and I’m from Maryland). Our server recommended the Brussels sprouts so we got a side of that and man they were roasted to perfection! Daniel and Isaac were are gentleman servers for the night and they were extremely attentive, caring, charismatic, and their suggestions don’t miss!! I will be back some day in the near future! (Excuse my half eaten photos, everything was that good I didn’t even think to take a picture before I dug in)
I had high hopes but things came up slightly short for the price. Service was excellent, I sat at the bar. I had the snapping turtle soup which was quite good, the crab beignets which were also well done, and the smoked duck. The seasoning on the duck was great. Based on reviews I was expecting to be blown away which was not the case, good was good but not up to par with the price.
Fine dining in NOLA. You’ll definitely need a reservation here.
Driving: I wouldn’t plan on it haha. The parking and driving in this area is so difficult. I’d recommend walking if you’re able to.
The actual dining room is deeper in the restaurant and you’ll be guided in by the host. Honestly the best part of the whole service was the bread/biscuit and butter. There’s an assortment of butters: Cajun butter, Whipped butter and sweet butter for bread service. The gumbo is non traditional and my second favorite part of the evening.
Overall the food is good and a great option for a date or anniversary celebration.
This place was absolutely incredible! I had the veggie curry noodles and a side of asparagus. Both were sooo good! I had the hurricane to drink :) The asparagus was the best asparagus I’ve ever had. Service was amazing. Our waiters Deshaun & Tina were sooo sweet and good! Deshaun really knew the menu❤️ Would definitely recommend and return.
This restaurant was so beautiful on the inside. The service was flawless. Our servers did not miss a beat. While I did enjoy most of the food, I wasn't completely blown away. I will say the gnocchi was the exception there. Overall, wonderful experience for a special occasion or evening out!
