So, I took a trip to New Orleans for the 1st time to visit my niece and her beautiful family and it was suggested to try this one cafe out if I wanted some good brunch type of of time. I accepted the suggestion , came here, ate, and left fully loaded and unbalanced due to the strong drinks and amazi
Came to the ruby slipper cafe for brunch in a Sunday. This place was very busy but the food is worth the wait. The staff was very communicative and very pleasant through the whole waiting process. Our server Angelina was excellent. Very fast and efficient and of course very friendly. She made great
It's very loud due to the crowd of people and the music combined. The food was great!... The service is great. I couldn't give it five stars on the food because my eggs were cooked too hard. I had the banana foster French toast. They make it with real French bread, not your normal sandwich bread. Th
Ruby Slipper Cafe had some great drinks and great food. I would love to come back here again next time I visit New Orleans. For someone who doesn't usually eat this time of food, it was an amazing combination of flavors and their beignets were sweet and delectable. Great find in NOLA
We stayed across the street from this location and there was always a line, so one morning I woke up early and went for breakfast at Ruby’s! WOW! It was sooo delicious 😍 I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of fried chicken and loved every bite. Later in the day my partner wanted to try this pla

TLDR: Amazing. Go there! Longer review: This is such a charming place. The food is great! We enjoyed it so much, we went twice during our vacation to try more things. We tried: Eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, French toast bites, salmon avocado toast and their pumpkin marshmallow beignets. Every
I had some delicious eggs benedict over biscuits. They were so so good. My wife had the most delicious pancake ever. Bread pudding pancake. Neither of us finished that pancake because it screamed belly ache, both of us ended fine in the end, no belly ache but were afraid of that delicious richness.
Wonderfully delicious food and great survive. The bacon Bloody Mary is aces highly recommend. Everything on the menu is slap yo daddy good. Totally worth the wait. Make sure to put you name of the their list online, helps cut the time down.
First off.....there is a reason why there is a line out the door. The food is phenomenal! Our server was sweet and hilarious but wasn't the most available. However, she was wonderful despite that. We had the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes, the og bennies and the shrimp and grits. Mouth water
Got biscuits and gravy so good! Beignets are so good! They were truly delicious. Service was slow and had to remind the waiter to get our brinks several times. By the time the food got to us it was already cold. But the flavor or the food made it worth it. If you plan to go here add yourself to the
My first experience here, and I walked in just before closing time. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful making recommendations. It was a delightful experience. I ordered the Cocohn Tacos and a mimosa flight. The taco shells were crisp, and the filling was a joy to my taste buds. T
A bit noisy and very busy when we came Friday for brunch. There was a line at both locations and a longer wait at the Decatur one but I think it may be because it's smaller. The one on Magazine St also had outdoor seating on the sidewalk. The candied bacon was good. And who could resist the seasonal
Chaotic booking system but as there are always folks waiting I suppose it doesn't really affect the business .. only the customers. Food was really tasty but poached eggs were cold, atmosphere is very loud if you like that kind of vibe. Service was great.. worth a visit if you're in the area and hav

Our waitress was very sweet and had great customer service and our food was out in no time. I was with a group of 4 when we first came on a Friday morning visiting from
Local brunch spot with southern flavors. The vanilla latte with nutmeg was a great way to start the morning. The restaurant is located in a good location for walking but lots of construction and loud. I enjoyed the homemade biscuit but the grits were not my personal favorite. What made the experienc
