Our Uber driver recommended this place...so we tried it. There was an hour wait...but we waited. The entire experience was well worth the wait...food was excellently prepared, great bar drinks, attentive wait staff, and many tempting menu items! We will return on our next visit to N.O.!

A very special place! So "old school" & delicious! From the stuffed mushrooms to the Osso bucco & the wine list is fine & very reasonable. Totally recommend this place!

This is a neighborhood jem!! The staff got us a table after we were thirty minutes late and they were packed. Very friendly staff only to be outdone by the awesome food! I would recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone.

Loved the corn and crab bisque! And the lasagna..went for my sister's birthday dinner. Very nice. Not as noisy as some busy restaurants. Wait staff very attentive. Pricy but very worth it. (But we had 5 courses plus wine!!!)

Excellent!! Amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this establishment! We came to New Orleans on vacation and luckily ended up at this restaurant. Was able to make a reservation. From the host when we walked in The door to our server, everything was fantastic! Highly recommend the spot, as it seems to be more of a local spot as opposed to a tourist spot. When we visit Nola again, we are definitely hitting this place up! Not to mention the area is beautiful!

We ate at the bar. The staff was great. We split our dinner, because as seniors we can't eat as much food as we used to. The Veal Roberto and Banana Creme Brulee were superb.

We visit New Orleans all the time and because of the history of Italian immigrants in NOLA (its second only to NYC for number of Italian immigrants coming to it’s port) we decided to make our trip an Italian restaurant tour. Not only was Vincent’s the best Italian restaurant in the city, IMO, it’s one of the best I’ve been to anywhere. Highly recommend. I give the food and service five stars but I issue them a sixth star because the manager (or owner maybe?) was speaking Italian and switched to English with strong Nawlins/southern accent. I loved that.

Have been coming here for years. Consistently the best Italian food in the city and the state. We love lunch time with Giorgio Maddie and the crew sitting in the bar area!! A free martini, incredible food, atmosphere, and today it was an especially a soothing hideaway, dark, very cool inside away from the oppressive heat outside. Couldn't recommend a place more highly!!

Best Italian restaurant in the south. We had the paneed chicken with lemon cream sauce and gilato for dessert. If you're looking for amazing, authentic Italian food, this is definitely your spot.

Our family’s been coming here for many years, since we were dating. Now we bring our daughters here. Excellent hospitality, JoAnn at Upperline-esque greetings. Food is really good and don’t sleep on the specials. Their wine list is unremarkable but the food is delicious and consistent. We love Vincent’s!

I had lasagna, and it wasn't as good as the restaurant in Metairie. My husband had the meatballs and spaghetti, and the experience was the same. Our 1st impression at the restaurant in Metairie was excellent, the food was soooo good and the people were so friendly but the restaurant on St Charles, the food could be better.

Everything about Vincent's is great. We started with the Artichoke Vincent and Crab Corn Bisque in bread bowl.. The seafood sauce was a perfect taste balance to the fried artichokes the bisque was rich and flavorful. Our main course was Canneloni and Shrimp Tagliatelle. Over the top good. Finally, Tiramisu that was light and full of flavor. We will be back.

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident this evening and are glad we did!!! We are from California and we had the best experience! The owner, Tony, greeted us upon entering and to my surprise, found a table for our family of 5! He was so kind and welcoming! Our server (I didn’t get her name but she was a younger girl with black hair) was absolutely amazing also! So tentative, knowledgeable and friendly! She was so helpful with my kids also! Such a great experience with amazing authentic food! I work at an Italian restaurant in San Diego California and was genuinely impressed by not only the service we reviewed tonight but the authentic amazing Italian food! I wish we could come back!!! Definitely recommend this place!!!!!!
