Cochon - New Orleans - Photo album

The rare time I review a place after one visit because I'm not sure when I'll be back in town. Service at the bar was good and the food was fantastic. If you like oysters, definitely get the " Wood Fired oysters with chili garlic butter". I never order oysters but did on recommendation and they were
INCREDIBLE southern food! The rabbit and dumplings are classic comfort food with a twist. The namesake cochon is out of this world! Cocktails were great as well. My only knock was we waited quite a bit for our table even though we were very much on time for our reservation. The service at the table
We stopped in to Cochon Restaurant for lunch and though the restaurant was full they were kind enough to seat us at the kitchen view. This turned out to be a blessing as we were able to see a lot of the great dishes being prepared. We found that the food was very good with a large and varied menu. E
Read lots of great things about this place prior to coming to New Orleans, and really wanted to come eat here. Was excited that it was only a couple blocks from my hotel, and decided to just try my luck without a reservation. Ended up sitting at the bar with a couple of friends, which turned out to
Had an absolutely incredible meal here a year ago. Cracklins, beautiful soft dinner rolls, Shrimp and devilled egg Gumbo, Crawfish Pie all incredible. Loved the broiled Oysters in a really clever tray, made it easy to get all the delicious juices. Can't wait to return soon
First meal in New Orleans and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, we were totally impressed with the ambiance and size of Cochon. There's two main dining areas with additional space upstairs and outside on the patio. With such a large space, Cochon remains

Excellent experience table started with fresh bread and amazing butter, service was super quick and very friendly. Our food came out blazing fast and was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend anyone visiting New Orleans to try this place out. Additionally I feel that this restaurant has a dow
Had lunch at Cochon Restaurant this week. I felt the menu is lean. There are very few items here without pork. Red fish is one of them. First time ever eating red fish. Then I finished off with a pineapple upside down cake with vanilla ice cream. Very tasty!
First, the service was great. People were very friendly and attentive. 5/5 Fried gator was better than anticipated. Recommended. 5/5 Oysters were stellar. 5/5 Complimentary bread 5/5 Pork belly 2/5. Tiny portion, bland taste. Mac n cheese was Mac and cheese. 3/5
