Joey K's Restaurant & Bar - New Orleans - Photo album

I’d say this one is more 4.5 stars because of the service (or lack of). The food is great and is good value for the portions you get. It could just be the seating location we were given by the staircase, but our server took a very long time to come get our order and we had to ask someone to find him
I was blessed to be told by a Local about this place. I was wandering around and this nice man gave me some places to go eat and this was top on his list!! I just wish I would have met him sooner it was my last full day. What a charming place and the food was OUTSTANDING!! I wish i was sitting in th
On our visit to Magazine St. we passed by Joey K’s and decided to split an appetizer (the seafood and sausage gumbo) which was delicious. We sat at the bar and I had their Pimm’s Cup which was great too. The servers were friendly and attentive and overall the place had a casual laid back atmosphere.
Really enjoyed our first meal in NOLA and this is where we ate. Great reputation and it didn't disappoint. The place was very busy on a Tuesday lunch with a mix of "us tourists", lol, and many locals. Service was excellent. Friendly, confident, fast and great menu knowledge. Comes from great trainin
4.5 stars. Recommended by our tour bus driver. Jambalaya and red beans were good (and good for gluten sensitive). Sit outside for people-watching if you are able.
Like everything about this place, food we ordered were tasty (Creole jambalaya, Po boy (fried shrimp)), gumbo, fried catfish). Our server was really friendly. Recommended!!
The wait was short. The host was awesome. Once seated, our server was quick to get our drinks and food. I had the meatloaf, and all I can say is,"My mama has a run for her money." Love it
Red beans and rice, Crab and corn bisque and fried green tomatoes were so incredible. So taaty! Our waitress Lindsay was awesome and answered all our questions All in all a great experience!
The food, service and atmosphere are great! The eggplant napoleon was phenomenal. Gotta have some bread pudding for desert. Will definitely be back!!
Food was good. Lamb shank was tasty but too salty for my taste, didn't enjoy the canned green beans. Fried green tomatoes was really delicious, but the portion was petite ( 4 slices of tomatos). Pasta was not drain properly, full of water at the bottom. Not enough sauce to cover all the pasta. Ju
Delicious etouffe and soft shell crab!! The interior is very beautiful and colorful. Love it! A nice place to get all the basic NOLA staple food.
This small place in the big easy is dropping some fantastic family favorites and we had a chance to experience it for ourselves. The red beans and rice with andouille sausage is a dish I would come back here for, because I have never had better red beans and rice with the perfect flavor of the South
First time eating here and let me just say it was delicious. The portions are nice size, menu was very comforting and the cost was great. The menu offered daily specials, this was New Orleans comfort food at best. You must try the Eggplant appetizer, we were blown away! Staff and atmosphere were nic
DELICIOUS. We are from Washington State so I didn’t know what half the menu was but I go the special (Roast Beef Po Boy with red beans/rice and veggies) it was absolutely delicious. The best way I’ve ever eat roast beef in my life and I will not be able to replicate that. If we ever come back into t
Really enjoyed this spur of the moment. We wanted to try and Po Boy but aren't fish eaters particularly. So we managed to get a chicken and a turkey Po boy. Delicious, the Fry's were good too.
What a cool local place! Away from all of the touristy areas but still friendly to those that roam. Andu waited on us and was excellent! Based on his recommendations, we had the Eggplant Napoleon for an app and I had the beef brisket. OMG!! The food was AMAZING!! Highly recommended!!
Their Red Beans and Rice are fantastic as was their Eggplant Napoleon (Deep Fried Eggplant, Crab Sauce and Shrimp....great service.
I got there at 11AM because I’m on a business trip and needed a place to hang out and do some work before my meeting. Ended up not being able to get any work done because I couldn’t stop eating! The corn and crawfish fritters were out of this world and the hamburger stuck was perfectly cooked. Side
The staff was friendly and the food was great. It gets very loud and the restrooms are only single stalls for both men and women's restrooms, so lines form quickly. The jambalaya was incredible. The fried green tomatoes were yummy, especially with the shrimp and sauce. The gumbo was good. The trout
