Food and service were both AMAZING! Interesting twist of chips and salsa and all were tasty. We tried all the tacos and all are delicious. Only comment is that meatball taco would be easier to eat if meatball was cut in smaller pieces.
Churros with salty caramel ice cream was the bomb! This was probably the best ice cream I have tasted!
Tried this place after watching master chef. The food was delicious. I went for happy hour & got chips & salsa & 1 of each taco. The cauliflower taco was AMAZING! I sat at the bar. The house margarita was really good & my bartender was really nice & attentive.
Was really excited to come eat here, since I'm a fan of Aarón Sánchez, and it did not disappoint. The staff were wonderful, really friendly, and the food was great. I had three of the tacos, the albondigas, pescado, and shrimp, plus a side of the fries, and it was all really delicious! My friends had the burger and the beet salad, and both enjoyed their food as well. Would definitely recommend coming here.
Not taking anything away from the food, the atmosphere felt drab. The lighting was low. The food was amazing, the only reason it wasn't a 5 star is because I feel they could have seasoned it a bit more. Overall a 4 star experience and I would recommend.
I booked this months a head of when I was surprising my husband for his birthday/retirement on Nov 6, 23 and I adore this restaurant. We recieved amazing service and custom service. We tried multiple different plates and all were great and nothing disappointed. I unfortunately don't remember the names of the host and server that night but both men did not disappoint. Thank you for making our trip from Canada to New Orleans fantastic and we are still telling everyone about it.
First time here and the food was amazing! Lobster tacos were a dream!!! Shrimp and grits, super fluffy, buttery grits! Mahi Veracruz was spectacular!
I wish this place was closer, I could eat the tuna tostadas daily! The strawberry tres leches was also amazing as well as the churro dessert. Would love to eat here again!
Excellent service, casual environment, and very delicious food. Wings were amazing and juicy, fries were crispy and flavorful, and tres leches was out of this world. I only took issue with the duck enchiladas; they were in serious need of some kind of sauce or additional moisture. But overall, amazing food and service. They even held our luggage for us when we flew in!

The food is amazing. The albóndigas taco was very good. The shrimp taco and chicken fajitas were both phenomenal and the chips and salsa were some of the best we’ve ever had.
Good food but greater service. T was fantastic on his recommendations. 3 appetizers (chips and salsa, Brussel sprouts, queso fundido) and steak Borrito.
The pickle onion and jalapeño complement each other. Great flavor
If you are on vacation and you are tired of the Cajun, creole food and craving some Mexican flare try Jonny’s. The price is reasonable
Our visit was 17 April 2023 during a business trip. This establishment was across the street just a little down from our hotel. My co-workers had to tell me who the owner was although I love the food channel. Nice spacious location and décor was excellent. We sat at a table by the windows. We had the Chips & salsa for happy hour, my dish was Chicken Tortilla Soup and glass of wine; co-worker had ½ off Margaritas and the triple taco platter. Our server was phenomenal, professional and made our evening as well. If in the area, I would definitely come back to try something else.
Really cool Mexican restaurant. Food was fantastic and the service was great. Our server, Sydney, was great and gave us good advice. Everyone at our table was impressed.
I had 3 tacos and they were delicious. They look small but were super filling. Chips and salsa (homemade), queso dip, it was all good.
By far our best meal while visiting family in New Orleans. Everything we tried was fantastic. My personal favorite was Chef Aaron's Grandmother's meatball taco. Something you just need to try. Great job! We will be back on our next trip.
This is a very clean, family friendly yet adult night out restaurant. Staff are helpful and suggestions are on point! On the happy hour menu- we tried one of each of the tacos, my favorite was the cauliflower taco- HANDS DOWN! the chips and salsa were delicious- they had me at the first fried plantain. Drinks were flavorful. Definitely a place to come back to!
Food was pretty tasty and came out quick which was good. The atmosphere was nice but felt too noisy so maybe some more wall art could fix the echo and noise.
The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the amazing decor. It’s comfortable yet upscale. The mural and lighting are gorgeous.

Delicious. I love the small plates option which allowed me to try a little bit of everything. Their margaritas were the perfect strength and flavor and not super sweet. The staff was nice, but could be more attentive. (Took them awhile to take our order even tho there was only about 3 tables seated in the restaurant) otherwise this is all around a great place to eat! I believe they are probably busiest during lunch on the weekdays due to it being in the CBD. So keep that in mind. Not pictures… a delicious tres leches we got for my sisters birthday! We devoured it lol.
