The menu seems to change quite regularly so my review now might not mean anything in 3 months. The food was good and Griffin and Michael are great. They are attentive and give their maximum to make the customers happy. There is a reasonable and decent wine selection. There are a very diversified menu. Each item on the menu looks good. The bread was good. I would recommend to order some. However, I would have love to have more choices and options. I think a good steak is always a good think to have no matter what. The others guests around the table were not very happy with their pork chop. I had gulf fish and duck. It was good! The place looks great and the staff is really good and kind! I would recommend this place if you are looking for a different type of food. They do propose things that you cannot find anywhere else or at least not commonly. Overall a good experience.

I had the best evening with a friend at Bayona. Impeccable service and wonderful delicious food. I had all of the vegan options. Rarely are there so many, such as soup, salad, entree and dessert! I walked away so full and satisfied. My new favorite place for fine dining in New Orleans! PS The servers were fun and attentive.

Business dinner with my reps from Southeast USA Great food, drinks and service. Garlic soup was different but good. Duck pate' was outstanding. Old Fashion drink just so so, but Russian River wine was excellent but 400%+ markup was really not called for. I had a perfect meal of pan seared scallops that could not be any better as they melted in my mouth. Truly a 5 star taste, 5 diamond dish. One rep had the crispy duck and was impressed with his meal. He has traveled the world and recommended nd made the reservation for this restaurant and he said it could not be any better. The other two had the Red snapper, one loved it so much as to say this was the best he had Ever had, ever had. Repeatedly. The other rep this was his first experience with Red Snapper and he is now a big Fan and will order it everywhere. I don't think it will be as good as Bayona. Service was excellent. Drinks and water glasses were attentively refilled expediently by a true professional staff. Dessert was good but not over the top. Caution everything is ala carte and expensive, but I will recommend to the highest and return.

This place is quite the gem on the western edge of the French Quarter. Wonderfully designed dining rooms with views of their quaint courtyard are paired with impeccable service and exceptional food. Go for the Salmon Beignets, stay for the stunning cocktails and wonderful wine list. You won't be disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful lunch at Bayona, a renowned 30-year old restaurant with a charming courtyard that adds an extra touch of ambiance to the dining experience. It’s surprisingly tucked away in the heart of the French Quarter, offering a calm, upscale experience that doesn’t feel uptight. As soon as we entered the courtyard, the serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings instantly transported us to a tranquil oasis. The attentive staff made us feel welcomed and our lunch was nothing short of perfection. You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and we can’t wait to return for dinner. Allison was our server. She coursed out the order perfectly, checked in regularly, refilled drinks, and made it so pleasant. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Bayona is a hidden gem, highly recommend it.

This place is AMAZING! From the minute we arrived we felt at home. Thank you, Andre, Allison, and Jackie. Your positive energy was palpable. And the food was indescribably GOOD. Duck sandwich please!

Always wanted to dine here and passed here so many times on my trips and walks in the quarter. My friend invited me out yesterday. So far this has been the best dinner I have had on this trip. We had two servers it seems and both were excellent. Had the sweet breads and the quail salad with apple tea cake. Perfect and delicious. We got there at the perfect time because it was quiet couldn't decide between the outdoor dining and indoor because both were beautiful but opted for indoor. I like the size of the place because it is more intimate and not overwhelming but within an hour the place became crowded. Very nice atmosphere With definitely return. This place is romantic for those who want a romantic place.

Wow, that was that the entire experience from the moment we walked into the door, till the moment we left. Seating was easy to check in and get seated at our reserved time. Allison did an incredible job with her Server assistant, I believe named Ralpheo taking care of us. Every recommendation was on point from pairing the salads with entrees to the wines and multiple cocktails. The Sweetbreads were cooked to perfection. With an entree of Lamb to follow. You have to save room for the desserts. When I find myself in New Orleans again, I will have to stop here again. Truly an incredible experience.

Quite possibly my favorite restaurant in the entire known universe. New Orleans is known for good food, and Bayona is the diamond in the tiara. The menu is changed daily and the ingredients are always seasonal, fresh, and top quality. The veal sweetbreads with lemon and caper sauce is my death-row dish. On our last visit, our server Raphael was impeccable, helpful, and made numerous suggestions to help us navigate the menu. I’m not quite sure Heaven exists. Maybe it does, but probably not for scoundrels like me. But if there’s a chance, I hope it is like Bayona.

We enjoyed everything here and service was wonderful! We ordered the quail salad, duck liver, garlic soup, duck breast, and Mississippi rabbit. Everything was delicious! The desserts were really special too. The Apple tea cake was great and not too sweet. The chocolate pave was very rich. Will come back again and 100% recommend! Price is fair as a nice French restaurant.

Gracious and warm service with fine food. The seafood plate was delicious, with a lobster claw, asparagus, and snapper. The brandy crème brûlée was flavoured with intoxicating nutmeg, all washed down with some decaf coffee.

Recommend by a New Orleans resident as a favorite and we were not disappointed! We sat on the patio! Was beautiful and had fans circulating! We had two very attentive servers, with each course they were presenting the food, coming back to ask how it was etc. wine glass was never empty! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a high end meal to celebrate!

Although Bayona is not open on Mondays, we were able to make reservations as they had special hours and a menu for the Jazz fest this past weekend. We came here for my birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The special menu with wine pairings was around the same price as ordering a la carte. Would definitely come here again and not just for a special occasion.

The Friday before Halloween was the first visit to Bayona for the three of us. I noticed what a lovely space it is as I entered. Various rooms and a patio area all invitingly decorated. My friend and I were quickly seated (I had made a reservation) and given a wine menu to look over. Shortly after that our third joined us and we ordered wine. Mine was a glass of Sangiovese. Two of us were very interested in Bayona’s highly rated Smoked Duck PB&J, so we shared it as an appetizer. Was it good? Sho’nuff! One of the others ordered the soup of the day, which I believe was Butternut Squash. We all tasted it and agreed it was fantastic. One friend ordered the salmon while I had the fish du jour. It was absolutely delicious, but in the excitement of being in such a lovely restaurant, I forgot to write down what it was. We had two servers keeping watch, but not hovering at our table, that were professional, knowledgeable and polite. I look forward to my next visit to Bayona and wish my first had been much sooner.

Bayona was a nice and cute restaurant. I sat outside. While sitting outside, a nice rat ran past and climbed the tree. I was so shocked and laughed. I ordered the Kabocha Squash, cheese plate (no pic), Crème brûlée, and a drink (forgot the name). Everything was good and the staff was friendly.

Appreciated how accommodating this restaurant was to provide vegan options for my partner and I. We had a couple of starters in addition to our entrees. The food was pretty good, overall. Some of the dishes were overly salty or had a texture issue (such as the breaded eggplant medalions we had). My official rating for the food is 3.5/5. The service, however? 5 stars! Splitting the difference and giving this place 4 stars.

This was a lovely place for a great dinner! We were thrilled with our appetizers, particularly the goat cheese crouton. We all fought over the duck breast entree after trying it! It was the best dish at the table, but the lamb was a close contender. We also have to compliment the waitstaff. They were so knowledgeable about the menu details and offered great suggestions to meet our tastes. We will most definitely be back!
