The Original Pierre Maspero's - New Orleans - Photo album

When you walk in, it feels like a rustic tavern where everyone already knows your name, and the staff was as friendly as if that were the truth. The entire wall of one side of the restaurant is a mirror, so it is smaller than it appears, but they were able to accommodate our party of seven without i
Finding this restaurant was the best part of our trip! The service is excellent, and the food, superb. The atmosphere comes from a place that only being there since 1788 can provide. Everything about it is amazing. It's small, on a corner, but proves big things come in small packages. I had 'goo
Our waitress was very nice. The food and alcoholic beverages were made perfectly. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. We were able to stay back and chat. I recommend the KEY LIME PIE!
We go to New Orleans quite often, but this was our first time here. A local resident recommended this restaurant. We ended up liking this restaurant so much that we ate there for dinner and brunch the next day. The seafood pot pie with fried crawfish on top was incredible. The staff was very knowled
We have eaten at the Original Pierre Maspero’s restaurant many times over the years. The food is good, especially considering the reasonable price. The atmosphere is also nice with pleasing views of Chartres and Saint Louis Streets. I think the service is the best thing. Always pleasant and friendly
This restaurant, slightly off the beaten track, doesn't have live music...just good food and drinks and friendly service. We had a delicious dinner. My partner's burger was perfectly done medium rare. My Shrimp jambalaya was excellent, and the bread pudding for dessert - big enough to share - was TD
Keeping in mind that you are in the French Quarter, food is quite delicious and reasonably priced. I was born and raised in NO and eat here often. I highly recommend this place for great New Orleans style food! Loved the pistolettes, the "pot pie", and the shrimp remoulade....
Date: July 11, 2023 Time: Around 6/7PM One word….AMAZING! Why…EXCELLENT SERVICE WITH AWESOME FOOD and add to that an open and relaxed ambiance. And you’ve got a definite must go to restaurant! You have to try the Bread Pudding…it’s one of the best I’ve had anywhere! Oh…and the Blackened Chicken Jam
Original Pierre Maspero's was superb. The crab cakes were loaded with crab meat and not a lot of fillers. The meat was fresh and delicious. The sauted spinach and mushrooms were done to perfection, the tomatoes fresh and the tangy sauce just about had me licking the plate. The grits were the fluffie
I come to the Original Pierre Maspero's every trip I make to New Orleans just for the French onion soup - it is the best I've had! This trip the soup was fabulous as always, and I also tried their Hurricane (somehow for the first time, I've always gotten their other specialty cocktails) which was a
The workers were super nice . The chicken and waffle was greatly cooked but the chicken was flavorless so I gave it a 3 star. My friend had the egg Benedict she loved it .
Part of my first trip to New Orleans series! My friends and I wanted creole cuisin, so we decided on this place! Very nice vibe and atmosphere. Staff friendly and hospitable. I have a shellfish allergy, so I ordered the chicken & andouille sausage gumbo soup bowl! YUM!! Just the right amount of h
That was excellent experience. Food is amazing and waitress was very friendly and nice. You should try green tomatoes and Alfredo red fish. Excellent!
Food 4/5: Food was cooked well, just lacked a liiiitle seasoning. The meat pies bybthemselves were a little bland but the cajun ranch was the necessary punch. The jumbalaya was ok but was better with pepperchini juice and hot sauce. My son didn't like the Alfredo but I did. The gumbo soup was good.
My husband and I strolled in here at 8pm randomly for our anniversary dinner. We spent a week in New Orleans and this was our favorite restaurant. Our server was friendly and he recommended the Alfredo pasta but with blackened redfish. Oh my sweet baby Jesus.. it’s been a week and I’m still thinking
I wanted some blackened fish and it did not disappoint! The crew was accommodating and funny! Best meal I have had since being in town. My wife had a a great grilled chicken salad with Cajun Ranch. My sister had a great burger!
...I am still 'in my feelings' over the DELICIOUSNESS that was served at Pierres...the restaurant is located near the Omni Royal and across the street from the Napolean House...I say all of this because it is easy to miss it!! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, soft sounds of NOLA jazz in t
This is a beautiful restaurant. The building is old and embraces its history. The food was amazing, you cannot go wrong with the Crescent City sampler! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was fabulous.
