Pat O'Brien's is a NOLA tradition. Excellent hurricanes. The shrimp and alligator are good. They have a full list of creative vodka and rum based cocktails. The atmosphere is very old school. The courtyard is great for sitting outside and enjoying the day. Wait staff is awesome and extremely accommodating.

The experience was great! Courtyard was beautiful. And the food was absolutely amazing. We had Jambalaya, alligator bites, and muffaletta. The muffaletta was excellent, with great sauce and yummy pickle. Jambalaya was moist and flavorful. The alligator bites were good too, but a bit on the salty side!

Pat O’Brien’s Courtyard is an absolute must-do for drinks while in NOLA. We went on a Thursday at 2pm and were seated immediately. The courtyard was chill and very clean and the drinks were massive and poured well. Ordering the famous Hurricane is non-negotiable, but the Cyclone was great too. Highly recommend.

Always have a good time here. We stop by Pat O's every visit to NOLA. Hurricanes is a must. Sit out in the courtyard for a great experience. The piano bar is usually always full but try it out if you find a seat. Pretty fun. I order usually one Hurricane since they become kind of sweet. They are sort of strong too. We saw a table with one of those huge hurricane glasses. One that is served for a group of 20 or so. They didn't finish the drink from what I gathered. The waiter was pouring it into to-go-cups.

I really enjoyed the gumbo here it was really flavorful. I wasn’t too excited with the portion and price but over all it was a great snack and experience. Our sever was super sweet, the courtyard area was decorated so nicely.

Love some Pat O’s!!! Shout out to Steph, the amazing bartender at the Main Bar area! Her Long Islands are perfect! Watch out for the Rainbow drink - the blue layer is stout! Ha! Our group had Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Alligator bites & fries, and Jambalaya - ALL was delicious!

Super busy spot. It’s always really busy in the courtyard so you may need to opt for the restaurant area. Hurricane drinks are some of the best. They’re really dangerous if you have too many. The jambalaya hit the spot whereas the shrimp was mediocre. Great midday spot. Staff was decent.

Great atmosphere right on Bourbon Street. Courtyard and indoor seating. We sat in the courtyard. Beautiful greenery and lights. 21+ area available for those looking to have a kids-free time. Shared the obligatory hurricane with my husband. Limited food options but great flavor!

A very popular place in New Orleans. It did take a little bit to get seated and it is fairly cramped, but for a location so popular. I'm not surprised. Surprised. They no longer let you keep your hurricane glass, but you can purchase them in the gift. Shop. The actual hurricanes were amazing and a little dangerous considering it just tastes like fruit punch. The alligator was very tender and seasoned perfectly. The jambalaya was perfectly seasoned with amazing bordin sausage! Overall a great experience and I highly recommend to stop in while you're in New Orleans.

If you’re in New Orleans this place is a must. It’s the home of the original Hurricane Cocktail which definitely lives up to its reputation. (Had quite a buzz after two) For food we had the Gator Bites and Fried Shrimp plates. Both were cooked perfectly, had excellent taste and large portions. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place and will surely visit it again next time I’m in town.

What an amazing place! The best was walking around and seeing all of the history here! The decor is awesome. The drinks are delicious and strong (and I love my alcohol). The bar area is awesome and I love the jugs hanging from the ceiling. The other room had two pianos and they had two incredible ladies playing the pianos going back and forth- song to song and the entire crowd singing along and also dancing- what an incredible time. The outdoor area is pretty cool as well!! You must come here!

Amazing spot right on bourbon street! First stop when I came to New Orleans for a business conference. The drinks were nice and strong and you totally feel that hit and get a nice little buzz after a couple. As well, the drinks were huge! There wasn’t much in terms of food for meals. More like apps and sharing plates, so I opted for some alligator bites. First time having alligator and I knew I had to have more on this trip! Alligator tastes like chicken, but has a little bit more chewiness to it. And it was super tasty! I’d totally take alligator over chicken if given the option! Service at first seemed rather I inviting by the waitress, but once we hit it off, it was the best and most fun service I have had! Great job overall! If you wanna break in your visit or even your evening to the French quarter, definitely start it out with pat o briens! This is a NOLA staple — great VIBE and usually has live music. Come early, the wait can be long but it’s worth it. Definitely recommend sitting in the courtyard if you can. Lots of great spots for pictures too. Food was amazing — we snagged three entrees so we didn’t have to choose and miss out. Grab yourself a Hurricane here too — never gonna find one just like it as they have their own unique mix in the cocktail that makes it theirs. Super strong, don’t need more then two to kick the night off. They’ll clean your souvenir glass as well so you can take it with you.

We came to this place because of the history that it posseses. Home of the hurricane drink. We didn't realize how big this place was until we got inside. Multiple bars, tons of outside seating in the courtyard. Very nice staff. We didn't get any food but I'm sure it's spectacular. They have a very unique water fountain that also spits fire from the top. Cool place to take some pictures. Thank you for the experience.

You absolutely have to stop here. This place invented the original hurricane (not pictured, but soooo good). Other features include tons of outdoor seating, a flaming fountain, and fast and friendly service.

We’re roaming the streets on new year eve and thought to taste different and best food in the city. So found the best place from the google. Ambience - nicely decorated with lighting and party sounds. It has food area and drink area separately. Food - if you want to try sea food especially oysters and alligators, this is the best place. We’re not the people who take in the alligator and other non veg items so we did not try those. We’re only chicken and veggie guys. We ordered shrimp fries with pickles and French fries. Really taste different and good. I ordered a drink which the restaurants special and promoted one, All famous hurricane, really nice drink to try. Service - we ordered for food and waited for 10 mins and we got all the food onto table with a sparkling smile . Over all good place to have fun.
