La Crepe Nanou - New Orleans - Photo album

Wow. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant looks small from the outside but can sit quite a lot. Reservations are needed. Casual dress. Got there at 5:15pm and by 6p it was packed Adequate parking at businesses across the street that are close in evening. Entrance is on corner of building and not
Loved the interior, felt like I was in another country, staff was over the top nice. We ordered the fondue , it was incredible, we also ordered a crab crepe and shared it, wasn't what I expected, a little bland, just needed some seasoning. We ordered the French onion soup each, my favorite, was deli
Always a go-to whenever I’m in town. Our server was a sweetie, our food was delish, and I wanted my dessert so badly I forgot to take a photo! We had the crawfish crepe and the lamb chops. Both were perfect. (Sad they no longer have the aioli sauce though!), followed by the chocolate mousse. Note:
I’ve probably eaten here 50 times in the 20+ years I’ve lived in the area. It’s one of my favorite French restaurants not just in New Orleans but the world—including France. The Art Nouveau style fused with local art makes the perfect backdrop for a cozy dinner. Service is always impeccable and the
The ambiance is great, the place is very pretty, the staff was courteous and very helpful. The crab sauce was excellent although the crepes were a bit thick and overcooked both for my entree and dessert. Two other people at the table enjoyed their salads very much.
Usually a go to for a nice dinner but our last time I went was ok at best. Usually, it would be all 5 stars but that one time really stuck with me because the mussels were good but my entree, fish, was bad. Our salad was not brought out to us and was charged for it. But hopefully the next time I go
I have been dining at La Crepe Nanou for over 30 years. One of my menu go to items read always the mussels, some of the best ever. However, this visit's mussels were quite lackluster. They packed the flavor and depth that I am used to. They were good but not great or even exceptional, in fact they
Love this place. I try to come every time I’m in the city. Absolutely charming atmosphere, excellent food, good service. This is not a fast paced place. Prepare to spend time soaking in the atmosphere and company. I would not recommend coming here with someone you can’t have a conversation with. Gr
For a long time, La Crepe Nanou has been a favorite. The food is well prepared and presented. It is always a welcoming place that I look forward to returning.
Crepe perfection. We popped by for apps and desert, specifically. I haven't had fondue in a while... this one was pretty good. The fondue was tasty enough although I feel like it could've been creamier. We decided to try one of each crepe. The chocolate was definitely the best. Paired it all with a
We had a great experience at dinner here on a Saturday night. We had the mussels, escargot, cheese board, and crab and avocado salad. I’m looking forward to our next trip and trying more from the menu!
Phenomenal restaurant. Would give it more stars if I could. Pate is the best in NOLA. Mussels are sublime. Order extra bread or fries to soak up the goodness at the bottom of the bowl. Crepe Bourguignon is the best I've tasted in the states. Outstanding service. Just a fantastic dining experience.
Just marvelous. Intimate, authentic, magnifique! From apritifs, each course, to dessert crepes. A perfect slow & quiet romantic escape for us, during a long week-end on loud & boisterous Bourbon Street
Small place, but we had a great table. The food wad 5/5. The escargot was excellent, the crepes were good and the french bread was very nice. The mussels were good, but could have been more flavorful. Our waitress was not the friendliest.
