We have to eat here every time we come to NOLA. The epitome of a good old fashioned “grill”. Great food and prices are very reasonable. If your high maintenance or need to be fawned over....then move on. This is a grill....not Brennan’s. Enjoy the low key experience! I recommend the club sandwich ..... but no to the chicken salad....heard it was from a tub ...LOL

True flat top and fryer diner! Loved the fries and the juicy, thick burger! The Coke was flowing and it was a great choice for us on a warm afternoon of walking around the French Quarter. Our server was happy and energetic as well as the fry cook who brought our burger to us. Only bummer was they were out of onion rings. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

So good....I drunkenly wandered past the place and decided to stop in. The counter service was so friendly and polite. Cheddar burger hit the spot and arrived quickly. Most satisfying food I had in my two days in NOLA.

Best burgers in the french quarter. It's a small place with a limited menu, but everything they do is amazing...

Great food. Great experience. Our server was enthusiastic and friendly. Our burger was perfect and we didn't have to wait very long. The only negative was the cook had a terrible attitude. She was grumpy and looked miserable. I can see why this place has been so successful for so long. Enjoyed the food and will be back for sure.

Nicest staff I've seen in all of NOLA. Locals in Nola seem to have an attitude, but these guys were super nice. Everyone was really enjoying their food. 5 stars all day.

Really really really great burger. Hand-battered onion rings. Everything made fresh in front of you. CAUTION: You will leave smelling like a vat of fried food so stop after the club, not before.

Just what you would expect: diner food, diner prices, which is rare in NOLA. And there was great service, too, even with a full house!

Great place to get that 24 hour breakfast. Pork Chop was excellent. Will had the club sandwich. Seasoned waitstaff. There may be a long line for limited seating. I recommend you eat here at least once when visiting New Orleans. They were open on Christmas day.

It's just a grease-pit diner on the corner. That being said, it's wonderful! Great comfort food made with heart and friendly attentive staff. Quite charming, really. While it doesn't seem as picturesque as the area around it, supposedly several movie scenes were filmed here for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I can't figure out which, though. All I can tell you for sure is that this is a nice little southern diner.

Don't let the outside of this place turn you away, the Clover Grill is truly a hidden gem! Inside seating for about 20 patrons in a true short-order diner setting in the heart of an older New Orleans neighborhood. The menu is simple and sprinkled with humor, and the staff are quick and friendly. The food was perfect, cooked to order, and well worth the short walk off the beaten tourist path. We will definitely visit again when we find ourselves in town next time!

This is apparently a New Orleans fixture at least in this neighborhood. It's short-order style grill breakfast and burgers. For Southerners, think Waffle House with New Orleans attitude. (Message on menu: "If your order isn't ready in 5 minutes, wait another 5. This isn't New York City.") 24-hours hangover cure.

I had an absolutely delicious breakfast burger from Clover Grill! The place is small and had a classic diner feel. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait at all. The reason for 4 stars is because 1) they don’t accept cash or allow you to split your bill and 2) I believe that we were incorrectly charged. Luckily I kept my receipt since I was traveling to NOLA for business and I noticed a discrepancy between what I was charged on my card and what I signed for on the receipt (including tip). Granted it was only a few dollars thankfully but I really feel like that defeats the purpose of not accepting cash… I would still recommend this place and I hope that it was just an accident.

This is a literal hole in the wall. About 3 tables and a handful of seats at the counter. The food is so good. I dont think I've ever seen an omelet so fluffy. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was seasoned to perfection. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a must-stop when I visit New Orleans. The food is so good, the atmosphere is classic and the staff is wonderful! This is definitely a hot spot so if you go at peak meal times, expect a wait! The wait is worth it though, the food is SO good.

Good little historic restaurant. Everything is made to order. It’s located on Bourbon Street. Seating is limited but they are open 24 hours a day. We ordered the waffles, and the 24 hour breakfast. The waffles were super soft and tasty. The bacon was crispy. Everything was great. We would eat here again.

What a great dive! I had the build-your-own burger and an order of the onion rings with a root beer. The food was slammin', the portions were great, and the service was phenomenal. Loved the quiet, quaint feel of the old-style diner. I managed to grab a seat by the window and was able to catch the sun setting off Bourbon Street. For those looking to come, it does NOT accept cash! Keep that in mind!

Very small Diner with a lot of personality. I enjoyed my cheeseburger it tastes just like my grandmother used to make with the steam and a lid on top. Had the perfect slight taste of salt and pepper. The food was delicious they serve breakfast at a the counter Waffle House Style. The cook was awesome a lot of personality. I'm not sure if the server just having a bad day. But could have been a little more friendly but to each his own all in all I'd go again.

Clover Grill is a first class greasy spoon type restaurant, in the best possible way. This is not a fancy place, just good food at a reasonable price available 24 hours a day. Breakfast whenever you like and really good burgers. When you get hungry late at night keep the Clover Grill in mind. You will be happy that you did.

Despite its location on Bourbon Street, Clover Grill provides a welcoming haven for a relaxing time-out, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee along with its delectable breakfast offerings. It's the perfect place to unwind amidst the hustle and bustle of the vibrant street.
