Garlic knots FTW! Do not skip the garlic knot appetizers. All of the pizzas are made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The wings are also fantastic with a smoky flavor and homemade ranch sauce on the side.
Pro Tip: If you are indecisive on toppings, they will allow half/half on any pizzas.
Update: we returned again this past year and everything was just as good as last year.
Pizza it was fantastic. Quality ingredients and flavor combinations. Crust was light and airy. Perfect. Enjoyed the Meatball Antipasto.
Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Staff were excellent.
Found parking easy.
Absolutely wonderful. I usually would eat pizza in NOLA but we stumbled upon this gem. Everything was delicious, drinks, apps and pizza. The garlic knots came with this silky whipped cheese that was amazing. Spinach pizza was outstanding. Service and atmosphere were wonderful. I will definitely be coming back on our next trip to NOLA!
I’ve been here two times and everything we’ve tried has been good, we’ve tried the baked ziti, cauliflower, garlic knots, margarita pizza and the mushroom pizza and everything was great. Both times we came our service was really good, the servers were super nice and really helpful with suggestions. They also have happy hour every day from 3-5 and have good prices. Definitely will be back again and I really recommend checking this place out!
So My friend and I visited this place for the first time. The service was amazing and the Manager Shawn went above and beyond to please us as guest. I wasn’t pleased with the Caesar dressing or the portion of the $14 salad so I decided to send it back there also is a frozen drink that was not tasty. My friend decided to send Harris back as well. I don’t think I’ll wait or was too pleased with that and try to build us anyway. Which she was not happy with because she was paying the bill and she did not tip him. I felt bad about that but I do feel the manager was 10 times better than our server. I do plan on going back and showing Shawn some love because his demeanor and customer service skills need to be awarded! Overall great atmosphere and incredible pizza the garlic knots are to die for 🤩
Go here if: you want a great beer at the bar followed by great food off the beaten path and away from the tourists looking for Cajun food
Solo travelers rating: 10 - cool scene, nice bartenders, small affordable apps, friendly, sociable people
“Pizza in New Orleans?!” This was my first response when recommended to me and it certainly sounds odd, but that’s not even all. From the start, the appetizers blew me away; namely, the meatballs. A meatball app, you say? Yes, and get them so I can accept your thank you note. This, coupled with their wings, make the experience for me almost more than the pizza itself. The wings even come with homemade ranch that is second only to my wife’s. Get the thought of sports bar wings, safe appetizers, and a generic New Olreans food experience out of your head and take the plunge.
Of course, you’ll need to save room for their pizza. I can’t even narrow down a specific pie to try; just ask the awesome wait staff what they recommend and they’ll set you up with something delicious. As for the atmosphere and location, they are both stellar. I have always eaten at the bar, which is great for solo/duo travelers looking to be social, but the restaurant proper is a warm setting that passes the vibe check and is great for families. It is located on my favorite street and there are plenty of close spots to walk to and check out before or after dinner.
Showed up with a rather large party to celebrate our daughters 2 year old birthday a few weekends ago. The staff was super friendly and accommodating of us, on no notice. Service and food were exceptional! Had a great time thank you for making Livys birthday special!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. We made reservations on OpenTable. The restaurant was following COVID precautions well. Tables spaced, staff wearing masks, etc... Parking is fairly easy and free in this area of magazine street.
The food was phenomenal! Garlic knots are a must! The Brussels sprout salad was great. For pizza we split a ham and ricotta. One pizza was more than enough for the two of us. Especially if you get anything else to eat with your pizza.
Great service by Izzy! She was so thoughtful, attentive and helped us with our choices. The pizza.....Ham, ricotta, peach and honey, was just fantastic! What a wonderful blend of sweet and savory! Nice atmosphere, with wonderful selection of beer and wine. Will go back again, and do Happy hour!
For a Saturday around noon the place was pretty empty. I sat at the bar, ordered quickly and my pizza came out fast. Spinach Pizza with Provolone and garlic will knock your socks off! They also have the best garlic knots!!
Has all the potential of a being a very good pizza, but the dough is not quite there! Missing oil or salt - it's more flaky than crusty. But all in all a nice place to grab a pizza. Just don't expect it to be gourmet. Not worth traveling for, but if you are in the neighborhood, it's worth stopping in.
Stopped by today for dinner. We had Izzy as our server. She was very attentive and helpful!! She recommended that we pair the ham and ricotta pizza with the white blend wine, DELICIOUS! We will definitely be coming back.
Wonderful service. Walk-in for parties 4 or less Reservations recommended for parties of 5 or more. Great pizza. Catch happy hour for half off pizzas and wine from 3-5pm Mon-Fri. They are back to in-house seating.
We ordered the wood roasted cauliflower, garlic knots, and the clam pizza. The aged provolone fonduta that comes with the garlic knots is to die for! It goes great with the pizza crust as well. The cauliflower was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. The whipped feta that comes with it was very good though. The cheese on the pizza was excellent although we would have preferred more/larger clams on the pizza. I will definitely be back to try more pizza because the crust from the wood fired oven with the fonduta is worth the trip alone!
Pizza Domenica menu offers a nice menu of antipasti, meatballs , dips, salad, wings, desserts last but not least their amazing personal pizzas with an great potpourri of toppings. Their amazing pizza is baked in their custom oven which cooks the crust nice and crunchy and the topping just right. I order the smoked chicken wings which were delicious. I also order salad which has sliced beef, arugula, olive oil, a zesty lemon. salad which was perfect
The margherita, pizza with fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato sauce was tasty. I also order the white pizza which had roasted garlic, oregano, basil. Yummy. The gorgonzola pizza with apples, honey, was very heavy have on the gorgonzola, hence it was a hard to taste the other ingredients. But still tasty.
Should you find yourself in the big easy and you want have done awesome pizza stop by, call or pick an order of their awesome menu at Pizza Domenica.
Pizza Domenica in New Orleans. This place is great. It was relatively empty upon arrival and we were seated right away. The hostess and waiter were both very friendly. Great atmosphere. You can see the kitchen and the food being prepped and cooked. The food is soooo good. They were great with timing appetizers and entrees. Started with some amazing garlic knots, with this whipped light and airy buttery cheese (they call it fonduta) I call it heaven. Also had a roasted cauliflower with a whipped feta, also heavenly but not as heavenly as the fonduta. The pizza we picked was a white cheese pizza, with garlic, basil, mozzarella and ricotta. We ate every single crumb put in front of us. Everything was stellar!! Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!!!
