This was a great spot for a bottle of wine and some good food. Randall at the bar took great care of my friend and I as we tried a few appetizers and some Pompano. The Chargrilled Oysters were delicious and the Pompano was light and well prepared. The soufflé potatoes- those were a miss, no seasoning and served with what I think was a butter that had some parsley but no seasoning. Overall a great find and the oldest family owned restaurant in the country as it is attached to Antoine’s.

What a Great place to go and have a full service fine dining experience without the fussy dress code. Desire, Shai, and Ally worked well as a team and even with a completely full bar area handled perfectly. I can't wait to move back and make this my go to spot. It has all of the viewing of the antics and shenanigans of Burbon Street with the quiet and safety of not being on it. We of course had to get all of the Classics: Soufflé Potatoes, Seafood Gumbo, Oysters Rockafeller and Char-Grilled, and for the Finally The Baked Alaska! If you're with friends, get the BIG ONE as opposed to the Individual, you'll thank me later. One more item that we had was the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders, if they're on the menu, I highly suggest them. I didn't look at the menu while seated. It was only afterwards my friend said the Château was avaliable. It's a steal, a Filet for 2 - 3 (20oz) Cooked and sliced with 2 sauces and Brabant Potatoes with Mushrooms. But this is on the list for my next trip. Again, there is no dress code to have a Grand True NOLA Experience, which I highly recommend!

Hermes is a great New Orleans bar. So much history has taken place here. Really good cocktails, a warm atmosphere. You can also order off the Antoine’s menu and be served right at the bar. A good spot to visit.

Hermes Bar is an overshadowed wonder bar. Attach to Antoine's, it's a fantastic maker of classic cocktails. The French 75 is among the best I've had across the planet. The bar room is spacious and welcoming. Staff might not be the most personable but they're friendly enough and make a mean cocktail. It's an underrated must visit bar.

Best food in the quarter! I was traveling alone and the staff was great company, they really had me laughing. I've also had escargot all over this country and nothing is more authentic than this dish, so tender and savory. They also don't charge an arm and a leg for good champagne, which was refreshing! I will definitely be back next time I'm in New Orleans!

We couldn't make it on time for Antoine's so we settled for Hermes to have some drinks & snacks. Service was on point. Food ordered was good.

I have to say this is absolutely my favorite place to hang out in all of the French quarter. The wait staff are some of the best I’ve ever come across and the owners aren’t too shabby themselves. I want to thank Hermes bar and Antoine‘s for always providing me with excellent memories and experiences.

I was in New Orleans for work and saw reviews of Antoine’s, I was not disappointed! I sat in the very comfortable and old school bar. The bartender was outstanding, very helpful and informative about all items on menu. There is a bar menu, but ask for full menu if you are looking for their very unique entrees. I decided on the lamb, that had an amazing pineapple sauce. I’ll definitely go back on return trips to the city.

Randomly stopped here for a drink during the week and it was such a nice old-world vibe. Very laid back, classic jazz music playing, and great drinks. A nice reprieve if you want a classy/mature experience in the French Quarter.

Really great food and drinks. I sat at the bar during happy hour. I tried both Sazeracs, rye and congac. I liked the congac better. I ordered Oysters Rockefeller and Shrimp Remoulade appetizers (pictured). Both were great. I dont remember the other drink, but it was good. Fun little place to eat.

Love love love Hermes, go there as often as possible. The char grilled oysters are stellar, along with a Sazerac or Sidecar to drink for a wonderful start to any evening. The staff and atmosphere is always top notch.

Its one of the oldest buildings in new Orleans, we had an amazing experience at the bar, the service, the drinks and the food were great, especially the potatos. The atmosphere was wonderful and the prices were resonable. We even had the chance to have the coffee diabolique, that is normaly just served at the restaurant. It was wonderful and one of our Highlights !
