Slim Goodies Diner - New Orleans - Photo album

Great food!!! The gluten-free waffles were delicious! Chicken was amazing! Little goat egg dish was yummy!
i love the fact that they were the only place to be open on Thanksgiving Day with great food. loved it. even though i ordered bacon and it naver came out, i still loved this place.
No vegan mayo for my BLAT sandwich (blt with avocado with no tomato sub onion) but it was actually pretty good. My friend ordered the country fried steak with eggs and loved it. Service was great. Lots of vegetarian dishes, with vegan options as well. Think tofu scrambles and black bean burgers.
The owner was there and was very personal with us! We also witnessed her stay on top of everything, making sure things were satisfactory and taking pride in it. The food was awesome...even the next day as leftovers! The atmosphere is so cute, fun, with lots to look at! You can't go wrong with Slims!
Great place for breakfast or brunch. The food is fun and unique and works really well. (Though maybe reconsider using Jewish in the name of a dish containing shellfish, hm?) I'm afraid I found the food to be seasoned a bit on the tourist (aka bland) side of things, so do be sure to ask for hot sauc
This was an incredible brunch experience. First, let me prepare you. It's busy. Like "we have good food and everyone loves us" busy not "we're giving away hundred dollar bills" busy that some New Orleans brunch places have. Maybe 30 minutes. Slim Goodies beats all those other places by a mile. My
Had the best meal at this impromptu brunch. The wait was less than 10 minutes on a Saturday. The appetizer (fries with crawfish) was amazing and the coffee was very good. They even have boozy drinks. The pink mimosa was also delicious. Everyone’s meal was satisfactory. We even had our photo taken to
Had a late breakfast here while in town. It’s a really fun hippy vibe. Very colorful. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was nice. The standout being the French toast - they grill it. It was wonderful and worth the visit alone. Fun place and feels like a nice warm neighborhood spot and
We really LOVED this place! I had the sweet potato waffle with pecans, my daughter had the pancakes, and my wife had the Greek omelette. This is a quirky place away from the Quarter. Can’t wait to go back for lunch.
So good we went back twice during our stay. Great Bloody Mary's! No one in our group had a bad meal. Waffles, pancakes, eggs...all good. Hash browns were excellent. Bacon cooked exactly how it was ordered (we all like it crispy). French toast was stellar!
This place was recommended to us by our AirBnB host as it was locally owned and within walking distance. We were there when they opened, seated and served within 15 minutes. There were Polaroids all over the walls of smiling faces of regular customers, and first timers. My husband ordered a typical
Amazing breakfast. The gluten free pancakes are a complete win! Great texture and flavor. Highly recommend!
This place was a favorite when I lived here in the early 2000’s. It’s still a great diner for breakfast. The atmosphere is fun. The food is good. Right on fabulous Magazine Street.
Like waffle house but better. Julienned hashbrowns on the flat top are a must for me, none of this home fries being passed off as hashbrowns that so many places do nowadays. Bacon thick and crispy. Best breakfast I've had in NOLA.
The service was awesome especially since it was Thanksgiving and who wants to work on Thanksgiving? The food was cold but tasty. I would not order the French toast again since it was mushy and almost cold.
Across the board exactly what you’d expect from a breakfast joint in a hip part of town. Worth revisiting to try more menu items! The quality is very good and prices reflect it, left quite satisfied. Service was friendly and authentic.
