Absolutely amazing food. Looking at the prices I thought might be a touch high until I got this humongous plate of food. The amount and quality of the food was worth every penny

Good food, lovely staff, good music at night! Sazerac was on the sweet side. Little pricey, but I guess it is to be expected across from the convention center.

The food was fantastic! The Smoked Oysters are one of the best things I have eaten in NOLA .

Love, love, love this spot.. it’s truly a gem! Food is amazing, atmosphere is outstanding.. Our server, Jamie, was a gem! Super sweet & such a fun, magnetic personality! Thank you so much for being patient with us while my husband & I tried almost the entire menu lol.. we had the best time! She took her time with us & we never felt like we were being hurried or rushed. Five stars 😉

Great service and food. Our waiter was over the top and went the extra mile. He made us out of towners feel right at home. His recommendations for food was spot on. The food was great and brought to us quickly. All the staff we came across greeted us with a smile. Overall experience was great. We happened to be there on Saturday night when they had live music. 🎶 Be sure to stop in!

Cajun food in a setting of dancehall vibes. I joined a larger group of colleagues here for dinner while visiting for a conference. There were 10 of us. Staff were attentive and friendly, and service was great overall. They had live Cajun music when we were in on a Thursday and some folks were dancing. The food is higher priced and it is good, but I've had more flavor at other spots. My meal was covered by the group lead, otherwise I'd probably be less satisfied with the price. The experience is cool but once was enough for me.

The food was average. It was good, but nothing special. Definitely value for money. They are open different times each week, which makes it confusing. Most evenings there is a live band, but you'll need to check ahead to be certain when. We visited at 4pm, so no band at the time. Overall, we had great service and sufficient to eat. The homemade pecan pie was delicious, as was the southern fried chicken in a bun. The shrimp Étouffée was okay. Not the best we've had, but tasty and a good amount.

I absolutely loved the New Orleans vibe here! Live music & dancing really tied the place together, of course. The food was pretty good! I truly recommend oysters & bread pudding with bourbon sauce. As far as her services, being out of State & 1st time experience, she really needs to work on her approach with everyone. In my opinion, it really makes a difference on the customers' experience, especially if she's representing her establishment.

Came during a big event weekend and while there was a long wait, once we got seated, everything came out fast! Crab cakes were hugeeee and more crab than bread (not typical), so that was a treat. Stuffed shrimp was amazing, and the gumbo was pretty good too! Drinks were alright, we found them all to be wayyyy sweeter than we were looking for but that’s all personal preference.

We stopped here largely due to the Zydeco music. We wanted to sample the "flavor of NOLA" so we ordered small servings of the Gumbo, Etouffee and Jambalaya. It was most certainly more than enough for 2 people to eat. Everything was good tasting, although, I would have preferred more spice and less flour in the roux of the etouffee. The Jambalaya and Gumbo are definitely recommended. Very good prices. We paid $45/ person including 1 specialty drink each.

Came here to eat some authentic Louisiana food and it was beyond delicious! We ordered the gator bites & frog legs for an appetizer and these were the best frog legs I’ve ever had ! The gator bites coke grilled but we did request them to be fried and I’m so glad we did . Then we ordered the pasta , stuffed shrimp and the mulate’s fish plate . All were amazing !! If you go , try the hurricane ! Strong and very good !

Great food, family favorite whenever we're in town. Red beans and rice delish. Bread pudding is a favorite as well. But my favorite was the crab filled beignets. You must try these. Must visit if you're in town.

Only had 2 days to spend in NOLA and I really wanted to try some traditional Cajun food. We were told by 2 different people to come here. We walked from our hotel (felt very safe) to the resturant. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress was VERY attentive and helped us pick the right dishes. We had the fried alligator as a starter and it did not disappoint! The dipping sauce was AMAZING. We ordered the stuff shrimp as well as the grilled catfish. Both meals were INCREDIBLE. GREAT flavoring on both! I had the Purple Rain drink which was dangerously good! The dessert options were great, too. Bread Pudding is a must! Live music started at 7 (though, we didn’t stay for that). I was so full walking back to our hotel that I had to stop 3 times to catch my breath lol! 10/10! I highly recommend!
