My favorite place for lunch on the way to the University of New Orleans from Jackson Square. This is one of the best soulfood locations in the city. They have all the local favorites at reasonable prices. This is worth the drive for lunch time.
Always a good idea to get Sammy's, but today they gave me this monster of a Ray Ray (half of the 10 inch). I wish i would have taken a picture of the full thing; it was thicker than my bicep. Even when I was 25 lbs heavier a year ago, I wouldn't have been able to finish this thing. Talk about a good

A must visit lunch spot. Easy Uber/Lyft. Great place to get very New Orleans food for a great value. You can't go wrong with any of it. My favorite is the chicken fried pork chop with gravy and two sides. Bigger than the plate for like $12... The Ray Ray poboy is legendary.
