Silk Road Restaurant - New Orleans - Photo album

Great spot to start your night out. I was there in December on a weekday so the bar was low key. I was glad for it because i needed a spot to just read and chill before i left for Frenchmen St. The samosas were delicious and the wine was very affordable, especially during happy hour.
Silk Road is a path to food Karma. Walk the road less traveled to the destination of delicious entrees. The traffic stop is the Brussels sprouts bursting with flavor! You can’t wine over the Asian Salad. Hunker into a table and relax…
I came here with my bf. Such a gem place in core area New Orleans l, very communal spot where serves friendly service and a variety dishes (mainly Indians!) the chopped pork is fabulous that has good combination. Please try when you nearby!
Went for Coolinary Month, Very Glad we did! Unique flavorings of food that are pleasing and filling. The lemongrass crab bisque was amazing. Rich, creamy very satisfying. The smoked center cut pork chops were tender, moist and enough for my wife and I to share. Asked for more sauce, didn't get it. S
Silk Road has a solid Restaurant Week menu. We tried the samosas for apps, curry chicken for main, and gulab jamun for dessert. The Red Curry Chicken was my favorite part of the meal - it was amazing. There was a pretty good beer selection, with more options in cans than on draft. But let me tell ya
Fantastic service, fantastic food. We had the 3 cheese plate, house salad, sesame crusted salmon, wilted spinach, braised short ribs (already destroyed by my husband before the pics). Everything was delicious. There's also a large selection of bottles, where you can shop for your own wine (and chee
Silk is a good fusion Indian food restaurant. It does have some other fusion foods like the Korean Wings we tried. Limited but good beer selections. Excellent recommendations from the waitress.

Just left this place. Had the duck. It was amazing! I also had this beer that tasted like chocolate ice cream. Awesome place.
I am in town from Minnesota for the week, staying at the Balcony Guest House above the Silk Road restaurant. Mexican Delicious does a pop up here on Sundays and Mondays and I have been here for dinner both nights because the food is just outstanding! The pastor meat is so juicy and flavorful and def
Silk Road Restaurant in the Bywater is always on our list for a dinner while in New Orleans. Upscale neighborhood bar restaurant with better food that you would expect and a very reasonable wine list.
Absolutely delicious food and great service.
I wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars because I just had the best evening I have had in years! Not only was the food absolutely incredible (we ordered the chicken tacos and pork in green sauce) but the chef was an absolute delight. To tell the truth, we went in for Indian food at Silk Road,
My wife is allergic to garlic and onions. Somehow, Chef Azalia was able to prepare chicken pupusas without them, and they were still delicious! The avocados were fresh and the salad was perfect. Carlos, Azalia's son couldn't have been nicer. We're happy they popped up in our neighborhood! ¡Salud!
