Cajun Mike's Pub 'n Grub - New Orleans - Photo album

This felt like a hole-in-the-wall...sort of dive bar-esque, and we absolutely LOVED it here! Bartender felt like a long-term fixture, and although there were some other tourists there, the small space seemed mostly inhabited by locals. The food was pretty good (we had mixed reviews from our group, b
must say this was a hidden gem that I was so happy to find. For my first trip to New Orleans this was the best red beans & rice I ever had! Also the bartender Joe made us feel like regulars! The atmosphere, food and hospitality kept us coming back 3 out of the 4 days we were there... def would go ba
I did a Google search for food near me and I came across Cajun Mikes. Nice place. The service was great and the food was excellent. I ordered the catfish poboy, alligator sausage poboy and boudin balls...OMG...all of the food was great. All together , I spent $40 I'll definitely be back.
Every time I come to this bar, it’s always a good time. Good drinks, good food and I love the bartender. I wish I knew her name, but she’s no nonsense, but she’ll make sure you’re taken care of. Women who take charge, absolutely awesome. I had the catfish po boy with fries. Super good. Also the b
Great place for a little break from crowds in the quarter. Right across Canal. Two blocks from Bourbon St. Good mix of locals and tourists. Food is fairly priced. Always a great crowd before a saints noon game.
Food was absolutely delicious! The gumbo was by far the best I’ve eaten ( even in some of the high dollar restaurants!) Great conversation with the bar tender, great drinks would definitely recommend
Nathan is great! First time in New Orleans, buddy was at a meeting so he sent me here. Great food and spirits. OG dive bar. Not those campy hipster copies. I’m from Montana, and it felt just like home. Highly recommend. Get a shot, too. Or 3 😎 Cheers!
This is the most underrated sour in New Orleans!!! I ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo catfish poboy and boudin balls. The gumbo and catfish poboy is A1!!!! Their Gumbo is probably the best Gumbo in New Orleans!! If in New Orleans for the first time or if you have never been this is definitely a
The best muffaletta in NOLA! Ask for Evan-the best bartender in NOLA! Food was amazeballs! We had the gumbo of the day and each had different sandwiches! Can't wait to get back there!
I experienced my first alligator sausage Poboy. It was amazing.
Casual bar with REALLY GOOD FOOD! Had a delicious shrimp po'boy with onion rings. Great serving size, especially for the price. Get as fancy as you want in the surrounding lounges and upscale steakhouses, but if you want good eats and a chill atmosphere, check this place out.
Quality and value, fantastic. We ordered gumbo, jambalaya, and boudin balls and it was really tasty. The mustard sauce with the boudin balls was gr8. Highly recommend, dive-y cool bar. FYI - posted menu pics 11/8/22
3.5/5 visited during Mardi Gras. Cool spot . Kinda small but all staff friendly. Seemed like a LGBQT bar but a lot of people were coming in and out. Food was good but a long wait . Again I was here during Mardi Gras so I understood the crowd and wait . Great music was played
Nice lil hole on the wall place. Had catfish sandwich and sampler platter.
We were recommended this place by our hotel as a more "regulars" atmosphere and where we could request to have any game played that we wanted if they had it. Although they couldn't find the TX Rangers game, we had a great time! We were originally going to try their jalapeno poppers but were told we
When I’m New Orleans, this is always one of my favorite stops. The food is amazing and better than anything I’ve ever had on Bourbon Street. I just wish they’d add crawfish étouffée to the menu. I had a 3 hour layover at the train station so I took an Uber just to go there for lunch. I’ve never had
Great hole in the wall bar that serves food. Kinda dirty but what hole in the wall isn’t? The bartenders were very cool, prices are great compared to the rest of the places in that area. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. Was really freakin good. Spent the whole day there with my sister a
Friendly bar. Hot n fresh food. Many sandwich and side options. We had the cheese fries, onion rings, and sampler. The cocktail sauce, honey mustard, and remolaude were our favorites but you get 5 different sauces with the sampler.
Cool local bar vibe with a friendly atmosphere towards visitors. Bar person was a really nice helpful lady. Beer prices are very reasonable. Food was basic but good portion size and decent prices. E
