We found this place on tiktok and just had to stop in as the church girls we are! This is the original structure of the church that used to be there, as well as the windows. You can have a very well made (strong) drink and dinner if you’d like! Our server was very knowledgeable of the history and was a great mixologist.

I went to Vessel recently on what may have been the worst date of my life. Listen, when someone starts pulling up Instagram conspiracy theories run. Thanks to the powers that be for a wonderful bartender. There’s something about sunset in Vessel. The lighting is perfect and if you enjoy craft cocktails this place is a must!!!

This was one of the best places I ate in Nola. It was my fist but certainly won’t be my last. The owners clearly care and so does the staff. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was perfect. We aren’t easy we changed our orders multiple times and the did a fabulous job. I highly recommend this establishment. Also it’s beautiful inside!! The patio is also beautiful. Honestly a excellent experience!

Super cool ambience. In any other city this place would be packed all day every day. The menu leaves a good bit to be desired. It's super basic. They could benefit from a real chef instead of line cooks. Daily specials would go a long way too. The service is great, and the drinks are very good.

Not everything is better in the Quarter. This place is a Gem! What an awesome church conversion. We enjoyed the most delicious meal & stellar drinks while the setting sun dazzled through those gorgeous old windows! Such a surprising treat for the senses!

This was an old church that was turned into a restaurant and bar. We had a great time and the bartender, Greg, made us feel like we were family! The drinks were tasty and we really enjoyed the cheese platter. If you are in New Orleans then this place is a MUST see!

This place has such a cool atmosphere and vibe together with incredible food and service. We had the cheese board as an appetizer, and the market fish, burger, and fries as mains. The burger was exceptional and at the top of my beef-loving husband's all-time favorite burgers list. Plus, there's a cocktail for everyone. Seriously, go here. Update July 2022: The menu changed a bit and they didn't have the burger, all the other dishes were still very good! The tiramisu had no espresso liqueur so it was a bit dry, everything else exceeded expectations.

I brought my husband here for a spontaneous, early date night. The venue is beautiful! An old church converted into a bar/restaurant. The stain glass gives a great ambience if you go at a good hour. The bartended was very knowledgeable and told us some fun stories. Great happy hour options/cocktails. We planned on eating elsewhere that evening but couldn’t say no to some of the menu items we saw. Everything was great. Side note: this place is a pretty popular venue for bachelorettes given the old church architecture so if you’re coming on a weekend there is a good chance there could be a drunk bridal party there pregaming for the evening lol.

Everything was great. The drinks and the service Sara or Sarah provided were great. The food was really good, especially the appetizer...something w/crabmeat. I love French fries, so I am a stickler and hard critic when it comes to fries, and the fries were too soft; not cooked long enough, but that's just my preference. No wedge salad, again my preference. Overall, everything was amazing, and I have told others about this place so they can check it out.

We had a delicious brunch today! We arrived around 1p or so for our 1:15 reservation and were promptly seated. The building is beautiful and welcoming. I loved the way the sun came through the yellowish tinted windows. It enhanced the warm vibe. Admittedly, I was nervous having read some great and some not so great reviews, but I wanted to see this building! Our experience was fabulous. Our waitress, Lizzy (hopefully spelled correctly), was friendly and helpful. We brunched on the blueberry waffles, crawfish croquettes, biscuits, and Mediterranean burgers. We also enjoyed their Milk Punch cocktail, each dish and drink we ordered was freshly prepared and tasty! Very happy we had the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and food. We'll be back when we return to NOLA for a visit.

I had the very best time here. The bartenders were super inviting and kind and made it feel like home. I love a church converted into a bar - I think this should happen to all old church buildings. The food is a little pricey but honestly so worth it. The ambiance combined with the great service, with the incredible (holy) spirits, I definitely felt like this was my version of heaven. Planning to check out brunch! I had the cheese board, crepe brûlée and a glass of Bourbon. Incredible. Update: went back for brunch and it’s also incredible! Had the huge waffle, delicious mimosa, amazing coffee, and yummy bacon!

New favorite local restaurant! The appetizers and entrees were absolutely delicious. Lots of different cocktails in addition to the wine and spirits list. Our server was helpful and friendly, even offered to take a photo of us for my grandmother’s birthday dinner. Plenty of street parking and a comfortable neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

Great brunch spot. The ambience is the highlight of this place. Food is also good but don't expect a huge list of options (which is not a bad thing). I had the "our benedict" and it tasted creamy and delicious. The blueberry waffles were also tasty (the portion size for the waffles is huge, 2 could easily share). 4 stars only because it took a while to get our food.
