Such a great place to get a to-go wrap. My husband and I are vegetarians and it is so hard to find a reliable place to get food to fuel our night of drinking. This place never lets down and is always fast and good.
I just have to say Hands Down one of the best food places here in New Orleans, Its affordable great quality food. The Frys with the homemade herb mayonnaise are the best I have ever eaten. The homemade Bread the sauce's. And yall are open late on the weekends Perfect for when you need to eat something kind of late.
If you haven't eaten there yet you are missing out.
Kebab is the absolute shit! I fell in love with it on my last visit to this city and this time I've been here 6 days and eaten there five times! I missed Tuesday bc they're closed. The falafel is to die for and $8 for a bomb ass sandwich is the cheapest vegan food I've been able to find in the city. Those thin sliced BEETS!!! Also I wanna be best friends with everybody that works there, even the salty dude who's always scowling. And they always playing the most fire jams on the radio. Unbeatable.
The gyros, the falafel both excellent. But, the portobello mushroom sandwich is in a class by itself. The bread is made in house daily...sooo good!!
The Portobello sandwich is the absolute best! The pickles and beets round it out. So incredibly tasty!
Love the food. It's flavorful and healthy. The service is great, too! My favorite neighborhood place!
I've been wanting to try this place for so long and I finally did today. Fantastic atmosphere, refreshingly different food, and a kick ass staff.
Best fries in a long long time!! The portabello sandwich was delish
Very good food! Generous portions and fresh! Thanks for the taste of the pastrami, too.
even if the pork special wasn't wonderfully special, which it was, and even if the mint tea wasn't still warm from being brewed, which it was, and even if the felafel sauces weren't perfect, which they were, the eco-friendly go boxes would make me give it ★☾ °★ .╰☆╮╰☆╮ ╰☆╮╰☆╮ ╰☆╮╰☆╮
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Love the vintage pinballs!
my first visit was DELICIOUS and friendly and i will be back! soon!
This is a tentative review because I was in a rush and did not get to try as much as I'd like. I got my food to go and only stayed ten minutes. That being said, the Portabella Mushroom sandwich was incredible, huge, and filling. I was so full I couldn't even touch the hummus until I got home. The bread that came with it tasted fresh baked and herby. The hummus is not the best I've had; I prefer more tahini. However, the ambiance was relaxed with some neat arcade games. The cocktail list looks incredible and I can't wait to return to try it!
You know how you can just taste the Fresh when you dig into your food? Well, that was with everything (and I got a lot) I ordered. The falafel, doner plates were delicious as was the tzakiki messe (sp?). Fantastic. No joke, when you get tired of all the buttered up fattening foods that NO has to offer (not hating, just pointing out the abundance), come to Kebab and feel refreshed after you eat
I wish I had remembered to take photos before I ate the entire sandwich. This place is consistently good and the prices on the sandwiches are super reasonable. The tzatziki is amazing. I don't know what they do that's different than everywhere else, but it's especially good here.
They do plates now, but it feels like they've done it begrudgingly. The price point reflects that. It's ok, though. It's not their forte. The sandwich is what you want here.
I also really love their fries. They look hand cut and they taste dope. One of my favorite places in this neighborhood.
Don't mind the half-eaten fries photo...
Superb. I finally have a new favorite Kebab spot in NOLA. I mean, they make their own ketchup. WHO DOES THAT?! 😂
Tasty alternative to Mona's. Loads of veggies and tasty sauces come with the plates. The pita bread and hummus need some work, though.
The falafel plate is an absolute gift from the heavens. Kebab has really affordable prices for their deliciously healthy meals! Servers will bring food to your table, but you'll have to pick up your own utensils near the cash register.
These were amazing sandwiches. The meat was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. I don't think I have had a better French fry.
One of the best Mediterranean Kebab Restaurants in the Marigny, and Orleans Parish hands down. My #1 go to! 10/10 🇬🇷🍢⚜
This was an absolute hidden gem. We came across this place randomly after a show and the smell was incredible. The kebab sandwich and falafel were wonderful. Comparable to the flavors we’ve actually had on the Mediterranean. Quick, delicious, and fun atmosphere. Would eat here again without hesitation
So happy this place opened up. Seems to be just like before. Don't sleep on the Belgian fries!
Yay! It’s back and with some amazing new people running the place! So glad to get some of the old favorites like the donner sandwich and try new stuff like this delicious watermelon salad! My favorite this time was the honey baked feta, but the dragon egg salad is also yummy. Great beer selection too! So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood.
Take-out tonight was super on point! Their bread is delicious and so fresh. Love the falafel platter- generous portions with salad & hummus & garlic aioli. Service was sweet, fast and so chill. They’re a gem. We feel so lucky to have Kebab in the neighborhood!
I found this place on the internet which wasn't to far from my residence. Myself and my fiance who loves Mediterranean food enjoyed the easy to read menu items which for the most part all under $10. While waiting for the food we played Pinball which I haven't played in over 20 years. They had about 6 pinball machines to choose from and Tournaments on Monday nights. We both had the Gyro Sandwich with pork and Black Olive Hummus served with fresh homemade bread. Both the Gyro and Hummus were very good. They played great music at the perfect volume. Very hip place to eat in. If I had to report something negative it would be the Air Conditioning wasn't up to par. Granted we were there at the hottest time of the day about 3pm, but it was very warm inside. I will definitely give 5 stars upon the AC problem being resolved. Staff was very nice and deserve to be mentioned. Can't wait to return!
i think i’m the first person to review since they reopened!
i live near here and i was so excited to read that they would be reopening on the ninth, but never made it down for the grand opening. but we went back today, and the place was in full swing! the food is just as great as i remember, and it sounds like the new owners have some bug plans for the place. i was told that they’ll be back on doordash soon too, so that’ll take care of my weeknight cravings lol
do yourself a favor and try the falafel😋😋😋

A nice place to get a sandwich. Not the best sandwiches I ever had, but they are unique and fill you up quite nice. I would pay a little less for them, but watcha gonna do.
Best part about this place is definitely the pinball machines. They have around 7 and they're all good quality and quite fun. My favorite is probably the black jack one.
P.S. Those cheese and garlic fries are on point.
Not your typical NOLA restaurant. A friend recommended this place, and we met up and had a great time there. It's counter service, the Belgian fries were awesome, and we were able to just sit and hang out and talk after eating. We never felt rushed at all. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.
