We went as a family of 15 visiting from Houston. Resraurant was drastically short staffed. Only 1 server and she was sitting people, taking orders, serving food, cleaning up afterwards. We had to wait na hour for our food. 2 family members didn't get their food....by the time everyone was done eatin
We tried alot of different food in the French Quarter in the span of a week and Cleo's was our favorite! So fresh and flavorful! That hummus is the best I've had yet! And the portions are plentiful!
Had a great time at this restaurant! It's awesome that they offer halal options in New Orleans, which is not common in the South. The food was really fresh and full of flavor, loved every bite. Only minor issue was that the staff seemed a bit confused about menu choices. Still, definitely worth a vi
Very good quality service! I really enjoyed the food. There was a very wide variety of things to choose from. Overall, the food was good quality but a bit overpriced.
Great options for Vegans. Cauliflower and falafel dishes were great. Generous portions. I’d come back for sure!
Our Uber driver recommended this place and raved about the chicken schwarma. After eating less than healthy during this trip it was nice to get some green vegetables. A very pleasant man seated us and took our order and poured the bottle of Perrier. He did say it tends to get busy after 8pm. The chi
Fantastic! So flavorful. Roasted Brussels sprouts hummus bowl was very good. Hummus unbelievably creamy. Olive oil high quality and flavorful. Highly recommend. I added tzatziki which is also very good.
The food here all tasted very fresh and well-seasoned. The Egyptian dishes are a real gem if you're willing to get beyond the more typical shawarma and hummus of many Mediterranean places.
Flavorful chicken and lamb skewers. The meat was juicy and tender. French fries were crisp and salted well. Beef shawarma had a very unique flavor. Red lentil soup was delicious.
Could be 5 stars but it’s 19$ for a plate and there’s no sauce given with your meal, sauce is separate and it’s 2$. Kind of plain for the price. Great service, ambiance and food though. Appreciate the late hours
First off, the food is top class. Super filling, perfectly flavorful, and an absolute joy to eat.
Service was awesome. I didn't understand what something on the menu was, but he described it perfectly and I was completely satisfied after I ordered it.
The atmosphere was great. Open, yet personal. Ta
Nice quiet restaurant in the French Quarter with excellent food. My wife and I ate here several times during our short stay in New Orleans. As I was drinking most of my calories we decided to try this place as it was lighter than traditional food of the area and kept coming back. Had the Greek salad
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food. Highly recommend the gyro shawarma ❤️ only thing that could use a little work is the staff just be more attentive.
I had fried eggplant. Hummus was some of the best I've had. It tasted slightly of zatar. I somewhat doubted the cleanliness based on the restroom floors though all the toilets were immaculately clean and the main area of the restaurant was also clean and nicely appointed. Service was good.
The food is good and the portions qre big. Good cost benefit for its location.
I was so eager to try this place... I was slightly disappointed. Thought the food was well cooked it seemed the fish & lamb shank were frozen or stale or something ... maybe reheated I'm not sure. The flavors were good & the vegetables were amazing. The fish dish was too oily and made my tummy a bit
